In the museum, precious historical relics and photographs from the 14 years from the "September 18 Incident" in 1931 to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945 are exhibited. It also has a collection of important documents, books, periodicals, archives, as well as clothing, weapons, and daily necessities.

Walking slowly backwards from the first unit, as if walking on the long axis of history, the scenes that happened in those years and the tragic atrocities of the Japanese army were presented in front of me, which made me heartache and shock. And the spirit and vigor of the anti-Japanese fighters who rose up to resist the war also made my blood boil.

What cannot be ignored is probably the Nanjing Massacre. That dark week may have been more difficult for the people of the time than a century. The lives of more than 300,000 people came to an abrupt end, and it is not an exaggeration to compare the city of Nanjing to hell at that time. However, the people and their innocents at that time, young people, the elderly, women, and children, all became the souls of the Japanese army, but it was only to satisfy the fun of the Japanese army's killing game. If it weren't for the photographs, future generations might never have been able to imagine the tragedy of those years. It is no longer the "sick man of East Asia" in the eyes of foreign media, after the baptism of war and time, it is a phoenix that has been nirvana, and a dragon that has taken off.

Before leaving, I walked on the Lugou Bridge, and I heard the chatter of the people crossing the bridge, the tires of bicycles, and the laughter of students in groups. This kind of breeze and sunny environment gradually calmed down my mood in the exhibition hall.
