The Devils took their share of the money and fled, but the miners were all trapped underground and would soon suffocate to death. Vi couldn't help it, so she quickly grabbed the power fist on her hand before the golem's system exploded. The wrist joint of the fist glove bit Wei's arm, but she endured the severe pain and forced a way to open the entrance and exit and save the miners.

After the miners were saved, Wei and her men took the rest of the money and slipped away. The next day, Wei Dengmen visited the Fangmu Devil Gang. The power gloves were still on her hands, and she alone taught the whole gang a good lesson with her fists. To this day, the fear of that day still circulates among Zaun's gangs. This mine robbery completely awakened Wei's conscience. Since then, she has vowed to only work with people she trusts. She took the Explosive Iron Fist and refined it to make it less scorching when she used it, and could break any seemingly impregnable treasury, take away the money, technology, and anything she wanted to steal.

During a period of turmoil, Cele disappeared from the city of Zaun, when relations between Zaan and Piltover were extremely strained. There are rumors among the gang that Cele died in a massive explosion in the center of Zuan, but others say that she fled to a distant island. When the truth was finally revealed, people were all dumbfounded: the old hungry ghost Scar was served in a pot. The gang's serial murder has been done to Piltover, eventually bringing in Sheriff Pitz - and her new friend, Vi. The former Zaun gang boss is now employed by Piltover to guard, and she has also undergone hardware upgrades. She swapped out her original alchemy-powered gloves for a pair of prototype Hextech gloves. She seems to have become more mature, as if she had witnessed and experienced many things before being transformed and reborn. The Wei in the streets and alleys of Zu'an still has her own shadow, but she has matured a little now, and she has also seen that there is only one ending to the path she once had.

No one knows how Vi and Caitlyn's collaboration began, and only they know the secrets behind the two. However, given Piltover's recent crime spike, it is widely speculated that their union was brokered by a third man, the little blue-haired madman from Zaun......

Vi yawned as she walked through the gilded room in the Leather City Hall of Justice. It's not sunrise yet an hour and it's still quiet. Several sleeping drunks were locked up in the detention cells to sober up, and I heard that there were also a few alchemy-enhanced little hooligans held in the more heavily guarded underground cells. She'll come back later to see what they're up to in Piltover.

She moved her shoulders, her body aching and stiff after a long night's work. Today's night shift was extraordinarily long, and her forearms were pinched by the power gloves. She was so bent on going home and taking off her gloves, putting her hands in the icy water, maybe a glass or two of spirits, and finally sleeping with her head covered. But Caitlin in the microphone kept ordering her to hurry up and go to the district headquarters immediately. Vi raised an eyebrow, tossed the message aside, rested for an hour, and then walked out of her small, messy home, leaving the tailor's quarter, to answer Caitlyn's call.

"Hey, Harkno," she said as she arrived at her cell and greeted the clerk at the front desk. "What is it that makes Caitlyn so anxious? I'm having a spring dream, and there's—"

"Alright, stop," Hakno said, without looking up. On a high desk, his fingers were checking line by line the list of prisoners who had been brought in at night. "I'm not in the mood to listen to your nonsense. ā€

"I really don't want to?" said Vi with a smile, leaning on his desk, blowing a strand of pink hair away from his eyes. "This time there is a plot, there is everything. ā€

"I really don't want to. Harkono looked away, reaching out and handing out the list. "Caitlin and Moohan brought back a Hextech thief last night. He wouldn't say a word, but Caitlyn thinks you might have a solution. ā€

Wei raised an eyebrow and glanced at the list.

"Dwaki, the kid is so naughty," she said, rolling her eyes and clasping her fingers together into a fist. "Yes, I used to know Dwaki. I'll let him speak. ā€

Haknow shook his head and said, "Listen up, I don't want to call a surgeon anymore." He had to be able to speak in front of the prosecutor, Caitlyn demanded. ā€

"What about her?" asked Vi. "Don't want to say hello in person?"

"She followed a trail to the docks," Harknow said. She said she believed you could handle it on your own. Are you right?"

"That's right," Vi said, stinking toward her cell. "What room is Dwaki?"

"Number Six. Don't forget, he needs to be able to speak!"

Vi nodded and said, "Okay, okay." ā€

She walked to the door of Room Six and opened the bolt. Normally, there would be another guard guarding the door, but Vi didn't need any backup. She had known Dwaki for a long time, and had even worked with Dwaki a few times before falling out with the Wood Devils. He's a pickpocket, not a thug. If you need someone behind you to watch the door when you meet such a thin person, it is time for Wei to consider changing jobs.

Dwaki sat on the bed. It is said that it is a bed, but it is actually a large stone that has been hastily cut. He leaned his back against the wall, hugging his knees tightly and curling into a ball. One of the arms was curled up at his side, his entire palm disappearing at the root, and his wrist was bandaged. He heard footsteps, looked up, and was momentarily stunned.

"Vi?"

"Piltover's strip," she said, bowing like a little girl. Despite the bad situation, Dwaki was amused by her. "What's wrong with your hand?"

"Your bastard sheriff shot," he said. "What's the matter with your hands?"

"I've leveled up," Vi said as she raised her Hextech gloves. She showed Dwaki all angles of the gloves, which emitted a faint roar. "Highly customizable, output intensity can be adjusted as needed. With these two babies, I can break through any wall. ā€

"Well, I've heard about the Zodiac Vault," Dwarki smiled pleasantly, as if he was talking to him about the old Celeste, the Celestial in the narrow alley. He didn't fully understand that the current Wei was not what it used to be.

Dwazi held up the missing arm: "I'm going to upgrade too." This hand was originally the top prosthetic leg of the Butonggio family. Is it necessary for you sheriffs to be so desperate? ā€
