Chapter 515: Feng Shui (1)

A "real person" is an ideal personality. "Immortals" are the objects of belief of Taoist monks.

The first look at the images of "real people" and "immortals".

What is a "real person"?

Of course, at the level of the "Tao", they must be the same, but this also expands the scope of the "real person".

1. The true people of the ancients are not rebellious, not male, and not scholarly. If so, they will repent and not be satisfied. If so, if you climb high, you will not be wet, you will not be wet when you enter the fire, and you will not be hot when you enter the fire.

2. The true people of the ancients, they do not sleep, they feel carefree, they are unwilling to eat, and their breath is deep. The breath of the real person is shallow, and the breath of the people is the throat.

3. The true people of the ancients did not know how to live or die. Its exit is not happy, and its entry is not far away. It's just a matter of coming, coming.

Fourth, do not donate the Tao with your heart, do not help the heavens with people, you are a real person. If so, its mind, its countenance, its grace, its bleakness, sad like autumn, warm like spring, joy and anger through the four seasons, and things are suitable but do not know the extreme.

5. Therefore the good is also one, the good is also one, the one is also one, the other is not one, one is the disciple of the heavens, the other is the disciple of the people, the heavens and the people are not victorious, it is called the real person.

"Real people" do not bully the few, do not be complacent about success, do not play tricks with their cleverness, have no regrets even if they are at fault, do not think they are complacent when they act properly, they are not afraid of falling when they climb high, they are not afraid of drowning when they enter the water, they are not afraid of burning to death when they are in the fire, and they can get along calmly when they are comforted by gains and losses.

This shows that "real people" are people with a peaceful mind, who do not care about gains and losses, who can get rid of paranoia, and who have great wisdom.

Real people do not dream when they sleep, they wake up worry-free, they have no appetite for the ears and eyes, and they breathe deeply, reaching the dantian and reaching the heels.

The difference between a real person and a layman is that the breath of life is short, and the breath is only up to the throat.

This shows that the "real person" is very different from the layman, and he can dissolve the entanglement of the erotic mind.

True people are not attached to life, do not hate death, listen to everything naturally, regard life and death as a coming and going, do not rejoice when they come, and do not resist when they go.

This is because the true person knows the source of life so that he does not forget where it came from, and he can let death come to an end, so he does not seek the end.

Therefore, "real people" can look down on life and death, and break the confusion of life and death.

"True people" are natural people who do not use their minds to damage the Great Dao, nor do they use human factors to help nature.

His heart has forgotten everything around him, his countenance is indifferent and calm, his face is simple and dignified, and his joy and anger are in harmony with the four seasons.

Therefore, the "real person" naturally does nothing, and his life experience is connected with nature.

The "real person" transcends the good and the bad, gets rid of the relative distinction of the human mind, forgets both beauty and evil, and sends love and hatred, and is in harmony with the way of heaven, pure and unintelligible. true

At the same time, they follow the customs and are disciples of others, and they do not deviate from the principles of heaven or personnel.

For this reason, the person who does not exclude heaven and man, does not compete with each other but is one, and achieves the same realm of matter and self, subject and object, heaven and man, is the real person.

Therefore, a "real person" is a person who has a peaceful demeanor, a peaceful mind, looks down on life and death, is free in spirit, and naturally does nothing.

What is an "immortal"?

If the husband of the immortals, with medicine to nourish the body, with the number of techniques to prolong life, so that 'internal diseases do not arise, external troubles do not enter, although the long-term vision does not die, and the old body does not change, there is a way, there is no difficulty', "immortals" can live forever, this is the essential characteristics of immortals.

It is precisely because the immortals know the way of immortality, can live a long life, and the pines and cypresses are evergreen, so that they can become the object of belief and the goal of the cultivator.

And the "immortality" of the immortals also isolates them from ordinary people and becomes a special thing, so it can be said that the "immortals" are different from ordinary people in the world.

The reason why "immortals" can exist is that there is not only the universality of "those who have a beginning must have a death, and those who survive must die", but also the particularity of "the beginning must end, and the heaven and the earth are infinite; life must die, and the turtle and crane will last forever".

Moreover, people's cognitive ability is limited, and the things to be known are infinite, and the existence of "immortals" cannot be denied because of their limited cognitive ability.

Although there is the clearest, the visible cannot be seen. Although he is extremely intelligent, he is not heard of by those who have a voice. Although there are big chapters erected feet, and those who often perform are not fulfilled. Although there is the wisdom of Yu Yi Qi Harmony, and the common sense is not as ignorant as the public. Everything is cloudy, and there is nothing else. The people of the immortals are full of bamboo. The way of immortality, is there nothing?

The special existence of "immortals" must be very different from ordinary people, and even contrary to ordinary people's likes and dislikes.

What's more, the immortals are very interesting, taking wealth as misfortune, glory as filth, thick play as dust, and reputation as morning dew", the laity draw from fame and fortune, greedy for glory and wealth, and the immortals are tranquil and indifferent, regard fame and fortune as a virtual thing, and regard a high position as a heavy burden.

Moreover, "seeking longevity and cultivating to the Tao lies in ambition, not in wealth", so immortals must have a resolute mind in order to overcome difficulties, resist temptation, and persevere to the end on the long road of seeking immortals.

Due to the "five tones and eight tones, the Qing business is spurious, and the deaf are also."

Bright and gorgeous, beautiful and rotten, and those who hurt the bright. The banquet is easy and peaceful, the mash is clear, and the disorderly ones are also. The brightly colored external world will damage people's lives, so the immortal is a person with a weak appetite, he will not indulge in the desires of the ears, eyes and mouth, and the immortal is a quiet and inactive person, and will not pursue worldly fame and fortune.

"Immortals" not only "can be in the clouds on the top, and can dive in the Sichuan Sea on the bottom", but also "can climb the void and the scenery, the clouds lift the neon cover, the meal is the morning glow, the alcohol essence of Xuanhuang is absorbed, the drink is jade and gold syrup, the food is cuimang Zhuying, the residence is the Yaotang Jewel Room, and the line is leisurely and too clear".

He is light and ethereal, he does not eat the fireworks of the world, he is free, unrestrained, and omnipotent. It is more able to "mourn the cow into a tiger, the old woman into a turtle, the branch into a willow, a Chinese woman into a stone, die and be reborn, and men and women can change their shape", freely change their body shape, and are not limited and bound by the external body.

Therefore, the "immortal" is a person who is very free in terms of form and spirit.

Looking at the images of "real people" and "immortals", it can be seen that "real people" and "immortals" are people who are very different from ordinary people, elegant and vulgar, and indifferent-minded, and they are both ideal and perfect personalities.

However, there is still a big difference between "real people" and "immortals" in terms of form and demeanor.

Therefore, the "real person" cannot be the same as the "immortal" of the Daomen or the same in connotation.

What's more, the true people of the ancients would rather make up empty words, and mislead the future with things that must not be obtained, what can they ask for!

The 'man-man' or 'God-man' is essentially an anthropomorphic metaphor of the reality of the existence of the Tao itself, an ideal personality. The 'immortals' in the Daomen are essentially a fundamental object of belief.

The 'metaphor' has been 'actualized' in the religious belief and behavior system, and has become a 'real' life form that is immortal and immortal...

However, the source of the image of the 'immortal' as a form of belief is undoubtedly the metaphor of Zhuangzi's 'real person' and 'god-man'. ”

There is a transformation relationship between the "real person" and the "immortal" from the "metaphor" of life to its "reality".

So what are the specific differences between the "real person", as the source of the image of the "immortal", after realizing this transformation into an "immortal", and its original image?

The following will try to make a specific comparison between the images of "real people" and "immortals" from the aspects of life and death, realm form, etc.

The real man is not attached to life or averse to death, he believes that life and death, like day and night, are in a constant natural replacement, so people should accept the arrangement of death and life with peace of mind.

As the saying goes, "The husband carries me in shape, works me to live, I grow old, and rests me to die." Therefore, those who are good in my life are therefore good in death", and people's death, life and death are one, and one should not like one and hate the other.

It is necessary to understand that by adapting to the changes of nature, we can abandon the sorrows and sorrows of the world, so that we can maintain peace of mind without external interference.

Because death is only the death of the body, the spiritual essence of life has returned to the "Tao".

Therefore, the "real person" does not care about the existence of the advantages and disadvantages of life and death, he "does not know why he is born, he does not know why he dies", and he does not have the worry of life and death.
