Chapter 3 A Cabin in the Forest
Bidding farewell to the little prince, the tower did not leave, but just hid in a place where the little prince could not see. On the afternoon when the little prince missed the appointment, Jingta suddenly felt that the terrible virus was not anywhere else, it was in her body and in her heart. Thorn Tower was very scared, and even more afraid that such a self would make the little prince hate it!
So the tower hid again, as before, avoiding everything. But the longing for the little prince lingers. When she finally couldn't help it and wanted to sneak a peek at the little prince, she found that the spatial intersection of the two planets had completely disappeared.
The tower is alone again.
"It's just a return to the way things were." She thought to herself.
But the "heart" is not a balloon that can be retracted and released freely, and when it fills a person and is now lost again, it becomes fragile.
The signal sent by the little prince on the blue planet was finally picked up by the tower a few days later.
Good bye?
Jing Ta's heart is like living in a litter of rabbits, seven up and down, unable to calm down for a long time. Countless thoughts and impulses rushed to her together, and after repeated and intense struggles and struggles, a conclusion was finally reached.
She's going to find the little prince! This time, no matter what difficulties she encounters, she will not run away, she must find him!
Horta also left his planet in the spaceship, heading towards the blue planet where the little prince gave his last signal. In her hand she held tightly a circular compass that recorded the direction of the little prince's signal.
Outside the spaceship were countless stars that looked big and small, shrouded in darkness. Jing Ta looked out the window, and couldn't help but guess that among the stars, on some lonely planet, there might be children like her and the little prince who didn't want to grow up.
Driving the spaceship and shuttling through the universe, the upper and lower eyelids of the tower began to fight again. A child like her always stayed up until midnight to sleep, but in search of the little prince, the tired tower had not closed her eyes for many days.
To stay awake, he began to sing loudly, jump on one foot, do calculations, hold his breath, and play chess with himself. When the ship finally landed on Earth, she couldn't tell whether she had her eyes open or closed, and she staggered out of the hatch of the ship, and before she could take a look at the strange planet, she plunged headlong into the trees next to the ship.
In her sleep, Watta met the little prince. He stood under a big tree with his back to the tower, and the little prince who had been so hard to find was in front of him, but the tower stood as if under a spell, motionless. The little prince in the dream, as if sensing something, suddenly turned around, and the tower hid like a coward again...
Waking up from her dream, Tara finds herself sleeping on a small, clean, soft bed covered with a warm quilt. It turned out that he was in a small wooden house with a warm arrangement, and a large iron pot was boiling soup on the stove in the corner of the room, and it kept making gurgling sounds. On the rocking chair near the stove sat a kind-faced old woman, with a pair of glasses that had slid to the tip of her nose on the bridge of her nose, her head slightly drooping, and she fell asleep. At her feet lay an old yellow dog, whose tail swept around like a broomstick, and fell asleep snoring.
She tried to stand up, but she was careful not to make a sound to wake her grandmother, but as soon as her right foot hit the ground, she screamed in pain.
The old grandmother was awakened and heard the screams of the tower, so she hurriedly got up from the rocking chair and came to the side of the tower.
"Be careful, baby, your foot is sprained."
Tarta looked down at her swollen ankles, guessing that she must have broken it when she fell from the ship.
"Poor boy, you have finally woken up, and the old man and I were frightened when we found you!"
"Where am I?" Tartar asked.
"This is a coco town!"
"Is Coco Town the name of the planet?" Tarta rubbed her eyes and asked puzzled.
"Planet?" The old grandmother's face was full of confusion.
"What planet is this? Do you live here alone, too? ”
"Hmm... Here's... O Earth! The old lady didn't know whether the lovely little girl in front of her had broken her foot or broken her head, "I live here with the old man, in this small wooden house. ”
"Have you seen the little prince?"
"Prince? He lives in the castle on the edge of the cliff to the east! ”
"In the castle...", the tower repeated.
"Alright, my child, you must eat something now, and then get some rest, I think I may have to get you a doctor." The old woman brought out a bowl of slimy soup from the grunting pot.
"Drink some okra soup I made, the old man always said that even if you are going to see God, you will not be able to move when you smell this soup."
"Thanks, but I don't need to eat."
"All the kids say that, they're just going to add a spoonful of candy to the bowl." The old woman smiled kindly as she handed over the bowl full of soup.
The tower soon discovers that there are more different places on the planet. The planet of the tower is small, and you can walk around it without sleep for a week. But this planet is so big, so big that you can't see the end at a glance, this planet not only has many flowers, trees, and all kinds of animals, but also lives many, many... There are so many people that there are so many that I can't count them at all, and I can't remember them.
"It's so strange that they live on the same planet, but they don't know each other, and they don't say hello when they meet!" Thorn Pagoda thought to herself.
But what she likes the most is the grandfather and grandmother in the wooden house, as well as the various small animals in the family. In the yard of the grandmother's house, under a willow tree with a crooked neck, there is a nest of newborn ducklings, swimming in a small pond. But they are not the most adorable, and a lamb named Dolly in the old grandmother's house will always sneak into the wooden house and eat the buckwheat cakes that the old grandmother has just baked.
Tara has lived alone on the planet for a long, long time. So when she sat around the warm fire with her grandparents and the yellow old dog, eating the fragrant broth made by her grandmother, she felt the warmth and happiness that she had been absent for a long time.
Soon, Tsarta's injured foot recovered, and she was able to run and jump as before. The grandparents wanted her to stay and live with them. The time they spent with Tara was simply too happy.
Although Jingta is reluctant to let go of her grandparents, she is worried about the little prince in her heart. She reluctantly said goodbye to her grandparents in the wooden house and set out on the road to find the little prince alone.
