Chapter 12(3)

This page of the diary still has a wet mark, and the words are completely melted, and I want to tear it off every time I turn to this page.

The dormitory building was empty, and I was stopped by him just as I was about to enter.

"I have something to tell you."

It rained for a month, and the whole school was soaking wet. He took me to a vacant lot in the school to be built. "It's getting heavier and heavier, so let's talk about something." I don't want to spend a minute with him.

He slowly approached me and tossed my umbrella aside. We huddled into his small black space, and the words that had been blown away by the rain on the umbrella were much clearer.

"What I promised you, you've been doing well, right?"

"It's your only option." I turned my back to him and couldn't stand the heat he spewed in my ear.

He didn't go any closer, "Of course. ”

"You danced very well today."

I sneered, "Let's get down to business." ”

"Can you talk to me in a better tone?" He accentuated his voice.

"I know you look down on me and think I'm not worthy of Annan. But now how much she loves me, are you willing to hurt her? ”

Finally showed his face. I turned to face him, and I couldn't see him from a distance. I realized as if I had never seen him in the eye, but the aura he exuded revealed to me that he had changed a lot. From the first time I saw him cowering on the bed and seeing my cowardly eyes in the dormitory, to the time when he dared to look directly into my eyes without dodging, he was reborn as a different person.

"Do you really love her?" I trust my own judgment.

"Don't you already have the answer in your mind?" He moved closer to me a little closer, and a slightly raised umbrella shone in a bright light.

His look made me uncomfortable, and I climbed out and picked up my umbrella.

"Since you don't love, what is your purpose?" It's still more comfortable a few meters away from him.

"Won't it be for the money?"

"Although you are adopted, you can inherit a lot of assets." I deliberately brought up his background and warned him not to be arrogant in front of me.

I succeeded, and he stared at the ground speechless. But what else could attract him to Annan? Appearance? He is not such a superficial person. Cheerful? She's not always happy, and she's even harder to deal with than the average girl. He kept not answering, which made me panic.

"Don't waste any more time if you don't speak." I'm ready to leave.

He let out an inaudible laugh, stopped in front of me, and let go of the umbrella in his hand. He actually hugged me. I was stunned by his actions, and it took me a few seconds to react and push him away.

"What are you doing here?"

The rain was heavy and he was drenched. His expression was painful, and I could see myself in his eyes. He clenched his fists and looked at me with a hideous look.

"You won't?" I thought of a creepy reason to explain his actions. The pores on my body that had been closed by the cold suddenly opened up after I popped up the idea, and my heart beat faster.

He laughed, he laughed again. But I confirmed my doubts with his wry smile.

What am I going to do? What should Annan do?

The first time I encountered a problem that I couldn't solve, I could only stand still at a loss. I can't think so much about it, I should get him to get rid of it as soon as possible.

"We ...... No way. "I helped him pick up the umbrella.

He was pleasantly surprised by what I did, and when he took the umbrella, his eyes welled up with tears. I saw that his body was still dripping, so I asked him to go back to the dormitory to change his clothes first.

"You shouldn't be nice to me." His voice trembled, and my heart throbbed.

He took a few steps forward, slipping unnoticed in the mud. I didn't have time to help him, I could only watch him covered in muddy water. He sat on the ground and suddenly burst into tears. My mind went blank and I could only prop an umbrella on his head. He cried and shouted, getting more and more emotional. I couldn't help but pull him off the ground.

"Cheer me up!"

He didn't react to my words, and as soon as I let go, he sat down on the floor again. But he stopped crying and just sat quietly. It was a long time before he slowly stood up from the ground, the corners of his mouth slightly curved, revealing a strange smile.

"I want you to be with me."

The noisy rainy night was quiet in this sentence.

"I said, no way."

"Even if it's impossible between us, you can't hurt her." I realized the point.

"Is this the second warning you gave me?" He raised his right hand and looked bitterly at the mutilated little finger. Then he stared at me steadfastly, and it was terrifying.

"Don't forget, I know your secrets." He was arrogant, apparently thinking he had grasped the handle.

"So, are you threatening me now?"

"You are not qualified to negotiate terms with me! Do as I say, or ......"

He was pitiful and prayed to me with a bluff. I don't trust people, and I never expect him to obey the verbal warnings I gave him 100 percent. No one will believe him when he says it, and Annan will not believe it. As a result, he used it as a bargaining chip to confront me.

But he still refused to back down, and continued to approach me unto be outdone. Step by step, getting closer and closer, I could feel the damp breath of his body.

"How else?"

"The jade is burning."

The little finger of his right hand twitched sensitively.
