Chapter 4 Exploration

Suddenly I woke up and found that I was still eating away at that bloody hand. As I became conscious, I found that control of my body was back in my hands. Then I quickly threw the severed hand out of my hand, even though the thirst for blood in my body was like the sun burning. But I don't want to be a monster. Although I already see myself as a monster, I don't allow my consciousness to compromise until I give up completely, and I can definitely find a better way to save myself.

I stood up and walked over to the severed hand, picked it up, turned and threw it outside the room. I knew that if it was still in the house, it would definitely make me submit again, but instead I threw it outside, and even if I longed for it, I couldn't run into the sun, which was the best curbing of the desire in my own body at the moment.

I sat back on the couch, my mouth still smelling blood. From time to time, my mind would think of the delicious taste of blood, and my body seemed to be out of my control at any moment and run to the piece of food outside, but when I thought of the burning sensation of the sun's heart, I felt a little less desire and a little more timid. In order to completely forget about the food outside the door, I closed the door tightly and locked it to prevent me from running out when I went crazy with hunger. I lay on the couch and forced myself to sleep, muttering "just get some sleep, you won't be hungry" but as the sun went down, my sleepiness was gone, and I was more excited, and the more excited, the stronger my thirst for blood. "You'll have to divert your attention at this point," I said to myself.

I got up and looked at the dark room, thinking that it seemed that there had not been a deeper investigation into the house, and that I might discover some secrets that I didn't know, and maybe turn me back into a human. Thinking of this, I was so excited that I stood up and said to myself, "First of all, look for the switch of the light, this room is too dark" I touched the wall little by little, and finally touched the switch on the wall next to it. I pressed it, and finally the light in my living room came on. I saw that the layout of this room was very modern, the overall black, white and gray tones, the furniture in the room was simple, there was only a sofa, a table, nothing else, and there were two windows on the wall so that I could see the outside.

Next to the living room is the kitchen, and I walked over and turned on the kitchen light. After looking around, I found that the equipment was quite complete, microwave ovens, pots and pans, as if there were people living here all year round, but if you look closely, you will find that these are too new, no one has used them at all, but they are placed in this furnishings. I opened the refrigerator, I thought it would be empty, but it turned out that it was all bags of blood, and then the hunger and thirst came back up, so I quickly closed the refrigerator, turned off the light, and stayed away from the kitchen.

I hesitated to go upstairs to have a look, but I was afraid that the man named "Heyi" was upstairs. If you see something you shouldn't see, kill me. After thinking about it, I decided to take a look, and I had to have a good understanding of the house in order to deal with the suddenness that would happen at any time. I took a deep breath and fumbled with the switch of the hallway light, and when I turned it on, the tension in my heart eased slightly. I found out that the house was only two floors, and it didn't look like the four or five floors of the castle as I had imagined. After coming to the second floor, I saw that the second floor was full of rooms, about five or six rooms, and these doors had different symbols, even the doorknobs were composed of various totems, and a dragon totem was placed in the middle of the corridor. The dragon was so realistically depicted that I couldn't help but shudder when I saw it, and I guess if I hadn't turned on the light and touched such a thing, it would have scared me to death. I didn't dare to look at it again, for fear that I would come back to life and eat me in a while, after all, something strange had happened here.

I turned around and forced myself to forget the totem on my back. I looked at the door in front of me, there were a lot of strange symbols on this door, a bit like summoning evil spirits, and there were still two small dragons wrapped around the doorknob. I knocked lightly on the door and asked, "Is there anyone inside?" After a while, there was no movement inside. I turned the doorknob slightly, and I heard a "click" and the door opened.

Once inside, I turned on the lights and found that the room was clearly out of place with the downstairs style. The whole room has a retro style, and the room is full of large and small paintings, which seem to have survived from the church. I looked up at the mural above my head, which was a painting of gods in different forms in the sky. The angel in the middle seems to be welcoming the arrival of a new life, and there are other gods in all directions to exorcise demons, but what is strange is that in the middle part of the painting, there are several women, hiding their faces and crying, as if the gods had taken away their children, and the gods in the middle are holding scepters and pointing at women, as if to drive away and like a threat. It's not like a scene where the gods love their people and drive out evil spirits for a new life, but more like plunder. The other paintings are almost all depicted in the Virgin Mary, with the Virgin Mary holding a baby and surrounded by angels. Just as I was fascinated by it, I suddenly realized that something was wrong, the figures in these paintings on the ground had blood flowing from their eyes, and the blood flowed to the ground like me, as if it was going to devour me. I hurried out of the house, looked around, and saw nothing unusual except this one.

There are a total of six rooms on this floor, of which the largest one is located directly behind the Dragon Totem. I'm going to go to that room one last time. I came to the door of the second room. The decoration of this door is slightly different from that of the first room. There is only one symbol on this door, and a small snake is engraved next to the symbol, as if these two small snakes enshrine the meaning of this pattern, making it even more mysterious. I knocked on the door first, and when I was sure there was no one, I turned the handle to get ready to go inside. When I walked into the room, I found that there was only one bed in this room, a large European bed. The overall style is still retro. It seemed that no one had entered the house for a long time, and the room was filled with the smell of dust.

The third room is no different, the only difference is that the pattern on the door is no longer two small snakes, but two vines, entwined with the characters in the middle. The interior of the room is still retro style, with two chairs and a table in a simple room. Nothing else.

There was still no difference between the last two rooms, and nothing unusual was there. Now only the largest room is left to explore. I walked slowly to the door of the room, "This room must have a lot of secrets," I said to myself. The door of this room is two or three times the size of the others. The door was of a dragon lying hovered on the ground, behind it was a wooden door carved with a cross, and on either side of the dragon were two huge stone pillars, surrounded by red flames. I could still see arrows and spears thrown at the dragon, and I could feel the meaning of this carving, so could the man named "Kazui" be the dragon?

I knocked on the door and waited a while to find that there was still no one. I wondered to myself, "Is this empty room just me?" With that, I pushed the door open. Behind the door really blew my mind. Overall retro style. There was an entire wall of classical books next to it, and I walked over and took a general look, and most of them were books from the 18th and late 19th centuries. The content of the book is mostly about the study of "vampires". There is also a book on the desk, which I am sure someone has read recently. I picked it up and simply flipped through the "Dragon's Footprints" to talk about the footprints of dragons that were once found in the South American continent, but later with the changes of the times, no one ever saw dragons again, so people thought that dragons were extinct, and there were many people who felt that dragons were not extinct, just waiting for people to discover the opportunity and the appearance of magic.

As I put the book down, there was a tingling sensation in my hand, and I looked down to see a necklace that looked like teeth, pointed. Set aside, and there was still blood on the necklace, I looked at it was my own blood, and the necklace had pierced my hand just now. Immediately afterwards, I found that this necklace had actually sucked my blood into it, and at the same time, the necklace that had been white was now faintly glowing red, and the red was very charming. I was about to pick it up and take a closer look, when suddenly a roar came from behind me, and I quickly turned around and saw the man named "Heyi" standing behind me, looking at the necklace I was holding with an angry face.
