Perhaps the strangest of all is her relationship with Aurelian Saul. The cosmic dragon's arrogance, nonsense, and cynicism annoyed Zoe. In return, she endlessly teases the giant creature, but when necessary, she also protects her "space dog" and the stars he has created from the baptism of Panson's wrath. Whether it was a simple whim, some kind of possessiveness, or her mischievous routine, no one could be sure. Because with Zoe, no one can be sure what she really wants...... In addition to entertaining yourself.
As soon as the cake shop came to mind, Zoe jumped to her feet and let gravity pull her. On the way down, she stretched out her hand and focused her thoughts to form a pathway. A portal immediately appeared beneath her, connecting to another location. She falls into the portal, and the matter that makes up her body collides and explodes, traveling through time and space.
It feels a little tingling.
Unfortunately, Zoe didn't get to where she wanted to go. She walked through the second portal and found herself only a dozen paces away. She took advantage of the momentum of her fall, stood still for a moment, and was dragged into the portal again. Time and space around her distorted again—a hula in her words—and she flipped back to square one. The two portals then folded and shrunk and vanished.
Some powerful magic is interfering with Zoe's ability to traverse. This may have something to do with some kind of change that she is supposed to convey, and apparently she hasn't done that yet. It's a serious problem, but it's not a surprise to her. She wasn't quite sure what message she was trying to convey, who she was going to give, or even what it meant, but judging by her experience, the details didn't matter. Sacred mathematical theorems will come into play, and the message she'll convey will be sorted out on its own shortly after she arrives at her destination. Zoe felt that it was not bad to have such skills as a star spirit.
The question, of course, is what she should do while she waits. She looked around, and next to a tree, she spotted a small, furry animal with a large tail in tow. It looks a bit like a trumpet yodeler. However, Zoe noticed that the animal's connection to the spirit world was negligible compared to that of the yodelers.
The trajectory of its life flashed through Zoe's mind. It can only live for a dozen cycles, and then it will have to return its spirit. In her opinion, the fleeting transience makes this life even more lovely. Zoe jumped up and ran towards it.
"It's so cute!"
The creature climbed the tree and hid far away.
"Hey, come back!" she shouted.
She didn't slow down in the slightest, creating a time bubble as she ran, spinning and accelerating at half the planet's rotational speed, and throwing the bubble at the tree. The strange bubble bounced forward, and finally crashed into the trunk of the tree and broke.
In that second, the critter's past merged with its present. The dome is like night, covering the sky and the sun, and the twilight dances with butterflies, flickering dark and bright. The little creature entered a tired, idyllic old night's sleep, and its former mental state was overlaid with the consciousness of the present.
Zoe deviated from gravity for a moment, floated up the branch, and came to the critter. Her hand hesitantly stopped above its fluff. She knew that with a single touch, her spell would be broken.
"Zoe is your friend," she whispered. But just as her hand was lightly placed on the animal's head, it suddenly woke up and jumped away in a panic.
Zoe sighed in disappointment, then floated higher, hanging upside down in the air. She wondered if she should go to Aurelian Thor when she was done. That dragon doesn't like to be petted either. But on second thought, at least Thor wasn't easy to get hurt during the chase. Zoe's thoughts were interrupted by something in front of her as she floated higher up and saw a small village on the horizon on the other side of the hill.
She made a portal to the village with her mind and slipped inside. But as before, Zoe's portal only spanned a few yards. And to make matters worse, the portal dragged her back to square one, and she collapsed on its own.
The grass looked beautiful in summer, so since there was no other way to get around, she walked through the forest in the direction of the village.
By the time she reached the outskirts of the village, the sun had already begun to set. She heard the sound of laughter, and she defied gravity and floated onto the eaves of a house.
In the middle courtyard, five or six humans were playing. They were almost as big as Zoe, unlike the group of kids or adults she'd recently met on the planet.
A male is chasing a female in a circle. Both were laughing happily. The rules of the game are not very clear.
Zoe looked closely at the red dress the girl was wearing, and she wondered if the color represented some special meaning. Although this skirt has nothing to do with the game, Zoe still likes it. The girl looked taller than the other women, and Zoe thought the girl might know something she needed to learn.
The male is also interesting, but the interesting thing is completely different. She could tell that his current body would be short-lived, but Zoe still thought it would be fun if she could be chased by him. There was a special handsomeness to his chin and lips.
She swallowed nervously. After all, it's been a long time since Zoe was a mortal, and the last time she visited the realm. She was inexplicably worried that the group would not accept her, that they would not take her to play.
The other two slightly boring boys began to play with each other. This game, Zoe remembers how to play.
Empowered by the familiar game, Zoe fell from the eaves into the middle of the group.
"Hey!" she said, changing her hair to another color, mimicking the tall girl's dress.
"Ghost," the funny boy screamed, his eyes wide, "run!"
Zoe felt that she should emphasize that she was a star spirit and not a ghost, but she wasn't sure if the sound of him screaming was part of the rules of the game.
"Actually, I'm here to deliver the letter. But if you want to play, I've got a lot of time. She said as she lunged at their backs.
Then she flew up, and floated as easily and peacefully as she could beside the tall girl.
"Your red dress is so pretty! does this color mean anything?" asked Zoe. But her efforts to find a topic this time were completely futile. As she spoke, the tall girl was pulled into the house by the funny boy. Then he slammed the wooden door shut, keeping Zoe out.
