Shower Chapter 33: Returning Home (2)

"China (3)" - Andy Bathilda. :

Intelligence Smuggler – Dimir Synagogue.

In the darkness, slippery corridors of the underworld and above-ground cities lurk the unfathomable web of the Dimir Guild. The synagogue of Dimir is Elsa's dark and open secret: people know that Dimir exists, but pretend it doesn't exist. Dimir's role in Aisha was to provide covert services that other guilds could or would not provide, and to use their secrets as both a defense and a weapon. Dimir even kept it secretive, employing secret spies who only knew a few other contacts. Dimir's spies come and go without a trace, destroying eyewitness memories of their criminal activities and, worse, erasing their own memories of their missions.

The fall of Zadek and the rise of Lazav:

At the end of Ella's crusade, the former leader of the Dimir Synagogue, the vampire Zadek, was eliminated: his body was killed, his soul was banished to the Underworld's ghost district of Achillen, and his rule over the Dimir Synagogue came to an end. After his disappearance, the Guild of Dimir also died almost completely. Some guild members defected to other guilds, while others joined some of Elsha's royal families to work as intelligence, but they all retained memories of serving in the Dimir Synagogue.

At the same time, a creature of unknown origin takes Zadek's place: a mysterious shapeshifter who calls himself Lazaf. After a series of treacherous actions and numerous disguises, he claims to have found a magic that allows him to communicate with Zadek's departed soul. After the spell took effect, Razav was heard chanting Zadek's name and chanting Elsa's ancient history; Some believe that he managed to keep thousands of years of vampire memories for himself. After the ritual was completed, Lazav's behavior became more bizarre, and his plot for power became more unfathomable. Very few people, not even members of Dimir, knew what kind of power Lazav had gained. However, some Dimir agents claim to have heard Lazav whisper in their heads, believing that he could somehow make a spiritual connection with any member of Dimir. It is said that after Lazarf led the Dimir Synagogue, contact between Dimir and the Blade of Erebos became frequent, which was truly one of the greatest disasters in the world of Elsa.

Lazav, the new guild leader of Dimir:

Lazav is a shapeshifting mage and the telepathic heart of the entire Dimir network. He (or she, or it) can change into a variety of appearances depending on his needs and the requirements of the plan; He may disguise himself as an elderly widow in the streets of the city, eavesdropping in the bazaar, or as a blue dragoon to avoid a checkpoint, or as a merchant to trick passing nobles. Some Dimir agents believe that Lazav has calculated the legendary dragon Nimizzer, intent not only on finding out the dragon's mysterious ultimate goal, but also on using it for his own purposes.

Above and below ground in Dimir:

There are at least two tiers of the Guild in Dimir: the open class, the façade of the guild, the side that Elsa is allowed to see in public; and the Secret Class, the inner organization of the guild, a side of which the Aisha public suspects exists but rarely or never sees.

Open Class:

Dimir, like any other guild in Ravnica, has its public duties in the city. They usually work as couriers, investigators, rapporteurs, and archivists. They did so with a dual purpose: to show Elsa the "friendly" side of the guild, and to be the eyes and ears of the Dimir guild on the ground. Many of the newly-starting Dimirs were deployed as open-class agents to prove their trustworthiness.

Secret Tier:

Dimir is a network of agents, agents, assassins, and psychic mages. The secret class of the Dimir Synagogue uses secret symbols, runes, and signals to communicate. The Secret Class also uses a number of mystical mind spells, such as mind reading, which can erase amnestics.

Hidden Class:

But there is also a class that even Dimir's own members do not know. In the deepest recites of Dimir, the guild leader Lazav and his most immediate contacts lead and control the entire guild's operations. The members of Dimir's synagogue did not know who had ordered them to murder, extort, and sabotage, or why. Commands are transmitted through secret tunnels and psychic messengers, leaving no trace in the process. This class at the bottom of the guild is protected by Lazav's Memory Guards, a one-way enchantment that only allows contacts to take orders but prevents permanent memory.

Twilight Canopy:

It has been rebuilt but kept secret. When the former guildmaster of Dimir, Zadek, lost power, the Dimir Guild Hall was abandoned, and the method of getting to Duspon was lost. Twilight has been rebuilt in a new location deep in the dungeons of Elsa's world, protected by the Guardian of Memory. Only a few people know about the existence of the nerve center of this Dimir synagogue, and even fewer know how to find it. People who find a way to get there often lose that memory very quickly.

Ismaili Library:

One of the most important landmarks in Dimir is the famous Ismaili Library, known as the Guildless Library. Unlike the Faceless Library, the Ismaili Library is open to the public and is managed by members of the Guild of Dimir. These libraries are generally located in the capitals of most of the world's countries, or in important concentrations or strongholds of large powers. Many countries around the world know that there must be some secrets on the walls of the library, but they don't know what they are. The evil circumstances they thought of when they tried to decipher Dimir's true intentions were enough to drive them insane. The Ismaili Library is one of the centers of communication in Dimir, and information is hidden in hundreds of books in the library. Dimir agents use libraries to exchange information and bring together fragments of information obtained from elsewhere. The inhabitants of Aisha were unaware that the books they read might contain information about the mission, goals, and assassination targets of the Dimir Guild.

Tinova Heights:

A meeting place for psychic mages. On the roof of a huge building called Tinova, the highest-ranking guild mages of Dimir meet here. Usually, this roof is closed. However, during the ritual at night, the roof blinds open, revealing the bat-like structure of Tinova. Ghosts and other horrors hover over Tinova, banishing the Ear of the Wall or uninvited guests. Tinova Heights does not exist in a fixed location, it is a space shrouded in secret barriers. When people want to enter Tinova Heights, the only way they can do so is by looking for its portal.

"Trist! Old Trist! Open the door! You're not going to freeze to death, are you? Michael shouted as he knocked on Trist's tattered wooden door, his eyes still peering through the hole in the doorway.

"It's coming, it's coming! I heard the blue wind chirping by the stove. Honestly, don't bring that stupid dragon with you again! Every time it grinds its teeth with my fence! Trist staggered out to open the door, babbling and complaining.

"Hey! Old guys! If you don't complain about the blue wind, you won't be able to drink wolf blood! Michael was slightly upset when he heard Trist's insulting remarks about his Blue Speed, so he used the wolf's blood as a threat to force Trist to comply.

"Oh! Damn it! Look what I've done! Old Trist is old! This man loves to talk nonsense when he is old. The blue wind is really getting stronger and stronger! But why don't we come into this damn house? Michael! As soon as Trist heard the wolf blood wine, he immediately changed his tone, and his steps became brisk, and he did not look old at all.

"Yes, yes! Let's go inside your damn house, roast it by the stove, and we'd better get you a mouthful of wolf blood, right? Michael quipped.

"That's right, Michael, you're the mortal incarnation of the Dionysian faction. Fast! Get the wolf blood out! Trist bolted the door shut, rushed to the stove, took out his cup, placed it on the table, and made a 'please' gesture to Michael.

Michael didn't care, he took the position closest to the stove with a big grin, and watched Trist rub his fingers and slowly take out the wine bag, but he just didn't pour it. Immediately, he tilted his head, his eyes swaying, and skimmed Trist's pantry. It seems to mean, 'I won't pour you a drink if you don't show something, old man.'"

Trist pursed her chapped lips and pulled out a large bag of flowers and honey cakes, which she stuffed into Michael's arms. Michael flipped the bag and put it away, but he didn't pour the wine.

"Alright! You little vampire! Old Trist lost money today, old Trist lost money today! Trist shuddered and picked up a glass and unscrewed a tiny keg. The pale blue elixir jade liquid slowly fell into the cup along the rim of the cup, and the aroma suddenly overflowed, wafting all over the room. Taking the small half glass, Trist screwed the barrel and placed it in front of Michael.

Michael picked up the glass and first put it under his nose and sniffed it, then pinched the handle of the glass and shook it gently, then took a sip: "Good wine!" This fire and ice are not easy to obtain! Well, it's a little different, the winemaker seems to have put a small peppermint. ”

"Humph! Old Trist used two sheep to get such a small keg, it's cheap for you! ”

"The Dora Empire's wine has a lot of stamina, but it's just a fine wine of the same level as wolf blood." Michael took a sip of the wine from his glass, then motioned for Trist to have another glass.

Trist suddenly became anxious and shouted, "Don't get an inch! Gremlin! How many times can you drink the wine of the Dora Empire in the Holy Falcon Empire? He pointed to the tip of Michael's nose, slapped the table and stomped his foot.

Michael shrugged his shoulders and was noncommittal, thinking that another glass of fire and ice was unlikely, so he filled Trist's glass and stuffed the sac into his hand: "Alright! You drink slowly, Lena and the children are still waiting for me at the tailor shop, I'm leaving! He walked out the door.

"Get out! Don't let me see you goddamn imp again! I'm going to drink! Trist didn't look at Michael and kicked him out the door.

"Then I'll never come again." Michael's voice came from outside the door.

When the footsteps of Michael and Blue Wind could no longer be heard, Old Trist suddenly burst out of the door and shouted at Michael's back, "Little bunny!" Get me some Tangnis greenery next time I come back! ”

The only thing that responded to Trist was Michael's waving hand.
