Chapter 471: Listening to Zen
The steps on this mountain are completely different from those on other mountains, and the material looks very old.
Moreover, the steps on this mountain are also carved a little crooked and not standardized, and the front ones are all neat and uniform, just like they were made from a factory, and it is obvious that they were built artificially many years ago.
What is certain is that so far there should be very few idlers on this mountain, so there is no consideration for tourists to eat or not, and each step becomes very steep.
Fortunately, Brother Haojie and I are physically different from ordinary people, so it is not a problem to treat this kind of step.
Having said that, there were thousands of steps from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain, so by the time we were halfway through the run, my physical strength was a little too much to keep up, and my legs felt a little sore.
When we walked up the mountain, I suddenly felt as if my heart had become very pure, and it was a wonderful feeling.
This feeling cannot be described in words, as if my soul has been sublimated at the moment of going up the mountain...
At the same time, I felt a warm feeling from this heavenly relic on my chest, like a person who had been away from his hometown for many years and finally returned to his homeland.
At this time, Brother Haojie also seemed to have a different understanding, he closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths, he couldn't help but look back at the mountains, and sighed sincerely: "It's really a glance at the mountains!" ”
Seeing that he had climbed over this stone step, the two little monks at the bottom of the mountain looked down from the mountain like this, as if they were two small dots.
I have to say that looking at this road, I suddenly felt a sense of accomplishment.
However, we didn't have time to pay attention to the scenery in front of us, because it was already approaching evening, so we had to hurry up and find the Master of Eternal Sky.
When we turned our heads again, we found that there was nothing more than a very simple small ruined temple in front of us, and this small ruined temple, compared with the glorious halls in front of us, was simply poor and a little pitiful!
However, there is such a saying, the mountain is no longer high, and there are immortals, so Brother Haojie and I did not have the slightest contempt, but our expressions became very respectful.
When we walked to the front of the small temple, we found that there were many similarities between this and the Taoist temple of Wang Liqing, and there were all kinds of vegetables planted outside the small temple.
When I came to the small temple, in front of the mottled wooden door, I raised my hand and knocked on the wooden door gently, and said in a deep voice: "Master Yongkong, Brother Haojie and I have come to see you......"
As soon as my words fell, the first thing I smelled was a faint smell of incense, accompanied by this aroma, the two wooden doors in front of us were actually windless and automatic, slowly opened...
In the courtyard, I saw a familiar figure!
It's the Master of the Eternal Sky who I haven't seen for years!
At this moment, Master Yongkong was standing in the small courtyard, holding Buddhist beads, smiling at us.
Compared to back then, the Eternal Sky Master didn't look too noticeably changed, and there was no trace of aging.
The only difference is that his eyes have become more open-minded than before, as if he has a new insight into life.
As soon as he saw us, Master Yongkong pronounced a Buddha call and welcomed us into the house.
This ordinary small temple *** enshrines a clay statue of King Jizo Bodhisattva.
The statue also looks old, and the paint on it has almost fallen off.
When we entered the house, Brother Haojie directly greeted Master Yongkong, who smiled and poured us a glass of water.
The mountain springs here are also very sweet, which is the best reward for us after a tiring day.
While drinking water, Brother Haojie also asked Master Yongkong a lot of content about Buddhism, and there were many things I didn't understand, in fact, I really didn't have much research on Buddhism.
But Brother Haojie seems to like to collect the strengths of hundreds of schools and use them for his own use, although I appreciate this very much, but I can't learn it.
At this moment, I seemed to hear a bell from far away from the mountain, probably the legendary morning bell and dusk drum.
After hearing this bell, Master Yongkong stood up directly, went straight to the statue of King Jizo Bodhisattva, sat cross-legged, and then recited the rosary in his hand.
I heard him recite the authentic Heart Sutra of King Jizo, and it was in authentic Sanskrit, which made people sound like something different!
Listening to this, I couldn't help but close my eyes as well, although I couldn't reach the realm of Buddhism, why did I feel comfortable sitting like this.
Before I knew it, when I opened my eyes again, I found that it was already dark outside, and Brother Haojie was sitting there, still discussing things about Buddhism with big things.
When I woke up, both of them laughed, and Brother Haojie said, "I didn't expect you to be quite realm now......"
"What?" When he said this, I was at a loss.
Seeing that I didn't understand, Brother Haojie continued to me: "Over the years, you have had a heavenly relic by your side, and you have also been imperceptibly influenced by it, so you have entered a state of concentration just now. ”
Now I finally understood what he meant, and I couldn't help but nod!
In fact, in the end, I still understand that although I don't know anything about the Dharma, there will definitely be only benefits if I continue like this, and there will be no harm in doing so!
But there are still a lot of important things to do at the moment, so I don't have the time and energy to think about it so much, but I walked straight forward, bowed to Master Yongkong, and said to him: "Master, that's right, once I had the good fortune to go down to the underworld, where I met the Dharma body of the King of the Earth, and he asked me to find you, and then handed over one thing to you, but he didn't give me anything, so this time I just came to tell you and thank you for your help to me back then......"
As I spoke, I bowed to Master Eternal Sky again.
Seeing this, Master Eternal Sky smiled and nodded at me, and at the same time said to me, "Remember what I said back then? Don't call me Master, just call me Eternal Sky......"
Yongkong said as he got up and came to the wooden window, only to see the moonlight outside the window like water, illuminating the entire mountain as a clear and quiet, and a cool breeze blows from time to time in the mountains, making people feel comfortable.
After looking at the scenery outside the window, Yongkong turned to me and said, "Since the Bodhisattva has something for you to give me, it naturally has his own reason, but all this will not be known until dawn......
