330. Floating corpses on the sea

Church's Diary XV

The four missing seamen were found, they were washed up two miles from the ship, and we searched for a long time at sea to find them, and God willing, they were all safe.

While searching the sea, we also found three strangers, floating naked on the surface of the sea. At first, we all thought that we had encountered floating corpses, but when we thought about it, it was wrong, unless there was a ship or plane crash, where did the floating corpses come from?

It wasn't until we recovered the people that we found them all alive, but they seemed to be badly injured. Two of the whites remained in a coma, and the other, a handsome-looking Oriental, remained conscious. He got on the boat and said thank you, and then passed out as well. I saw in him a strength that had been holding on, and the moment he was saved, he was relieved.

I don't know who they are, why they are here, whether the tsunami that seems to be a nuclear explosion has anything to do with them.

Their condition is not very stable, waking up and fainting. Without medical equipment, we couldn't do any further testing on them, so we had to lie down in the cabin and rest.

I was very impressed with that oriental. He is very handsome, and even if he has been soaked in the sea for so long, it is difficult to hide the handsomeness of his body. Especially at the moment when he was salvaged, he should have been embarrassed, but he remarkably maintained the elegance and confidence of a gentleman, like a prince triumphant from the battlefield.

To be honest, I didn't know how to appreciate the beauty of Oriental people, such as Chinese and Japanese. Perhaps the petite and charming oriental women have a different style, but their men are on the soft side, with few bulging muscles and bright lines, as if the edges and corners of the bones have been delicately polished, and there is always a ubiquitous sleek and accidental.

However, this man suddenly changed my opinion of the Oriental. I must admit that he is one of the most handsome people I have ever met. Of course, I'm not sure if he's a pure Oriental, maybe with a little bit of Gothic and Balkan blood, or if he's a mix of Maori and East Asian, otherwise why would he be in the South Pacific?

I think the people on the boat see the same thing as me. You see, while they were unconscious, Miss Alice offered to take care of him. I think she was fascinated by his looks, looking at her misty eyes and cautious look!

Alice is Mrs. Larry's assistant, so she has to listen to Mrs. Larry in everything she does. Mrs. Larry, though still the same face that owed her money, was clearly curious about the strange man in a coma, and looked at him as if she were admiring an archaeological artifact. She agrees with Alice, who is busy like a happy bird taking care of the unconscious prince lying on the bed.

The men on the ship were a little uncomfortable because of this, after all, Alice was the only lovely girl on the ship. However, Alice didn't just take care of him alone, she still took care of Pardick very dedicatedly. After all, he was injured for her.

Occasionally, Alice would go to Anderson and ask if he needed help. Anderson stopped fishing for the past two days, but devoted himself to overhauling the boat. The Discovery has undergone this drastic change, and there are many more security risks. Alice couldn't help much, so she would talk to him for a while. They were chatting loudly, as if to announce to the world not to disturb them.

……

We couldn't fix the ship's electronics, we couldn't get GPS coordinates, we couldn't get in touch with the ground. I was very worried, I don't know how long we would have to drift at sea like this, if we didn't get back to land as soon as possible, the wounded on board would not be better treated, and there would definitely be sequelae, and it was not impossible that the condition would deteriorate further.

Robbins suggested heading north the old way, and with the Discovery's food and fuel reserves, we should be able to hold out until we find land. And he analyzed that the previous strange events and the final tsunami should be caused by undersea earthquakes, and there may be aftershocks, and even a bigger earthquake is possible, so it is necessary to leave this sea area as soon as possible.

I agree with him. So we're heading north, hoping that nothing strange will happen again, and while it's shocking and memorable, I'd rather it don't happen right in front of my eyes.

Church's Diary XVI

Two of the three white men we rescued woke up first, and they didn't seem to be in a big deal. From their mouths we know that they are Russians, one is called Ivan and the other is called Boris, and the Oriental does not know whether he is Chinese or Japanese, only that his English name is Arthur Stone.

Boris seemed to be an interesting home, and as soon as he woke up, he shouted Halleym's name, saying that he wanted to see Hiram and tell everyone else to get out of the way.

I thought Hiram was the name of his companion or relative, but later I realized that he was calling Hel, the god of death in Norse mythology. He thought that he was dead and that this was hell, so he desperately cried out to see Hades, and said that he would fight Hull alone.

But his Slavic accent was so thick that I doubt that he would ever go to the underworld and that Hel, the god of death, would have understood him.

When Boris knew that he was not dead, he immediately called another name - Ivan, and now his accent was much more normal, apparently because he was sober. We told him that Ivan was next door and was eating. He immediately became unhappy, and cursed in his mouth: Damn Ivan, don't call me when you eat. He didn't want to think about how he could come and ask him to eat when he had been in a coma just now.

He asked about Mr. Stone again, and we learned that the Oriental man's name was Arthur Stone. Stone hadn't woken up yet. We brought Boris something to eat, and when we asked him anything else, he was very careful not to speak, saying that he could not remember anything, and told us to ask Ivan.

Ivan looked like a steady and capable man. In him I saw a little bit of the shadow of my beloved old captain, who I guess also sailed at sea all year round.

He spoke with a bit of Robbins, like a full gentleman. But he was just as cautious, saying nothing more than what had happened to their ship. And he insisted on going to see Mr. Stone, and stated that he would not say anything until Mr. Stone woke up. It seems that this Oriental not only has a lot of status in their hearts, but also is very respected by them.

However, the gentleman had not yet woken up. I always had the strange feeling that the three of them survived because of some miraculous trick on the part of Mr. Stone, who had survived his companion and finally collapsed.

I don't know when he will wake up, although the ship can be infused with nutrient solution, but it is still easy to have an accident if he has been in a coma for too long.

God bless him.
