Option 1.2 Chapter 46 - The Gill Story 6 (0.1)
In the dark passage, Jill's voice kept echoing: "If I had noticed Wesker's anomaly at that time, maybe I could have saved everything......"
Su Tianzong leaned against the cold stone wall and comforted her: "No one can avoid all the troubles in a prescient way, at least you are still alive and well, aren't you?"
"However, from the very beginning, Ambrera planned all the plots, and even when S.T.A.R.S. was just established, Ambrera immediately injected capital and arranged for Wesker to be our captain at the police station." Jill said indignantly, sadness and anger mixed into her eyes: "We didn't care about these anomalies, which directly led to the destruction of the other team, and Joseph ......"
Claire walked up to Jill and hugged her gently. When Jill calmed down, she asked, "What happened next?" ”
"Later...... I heard Joseph's screams, and the terrible sound of his body being bitten. ”
Standing in the darkness of the forest, Jill's body trembled a little, as she sensed the danger approaching. There is an illusion that the whole world is against her, and it is slowly sprouting in the bottom of her heart. This is caused by the environment and is also a warning from the keen intuition of women.
"Ahh Other...... Stay back! ”
Jill heard Joseph's voice, and it seemed that something was haunting him. Deep in the forest, she saw Joseph's tactical flashlight swinging everywhere, the pillar of light constantly changing direction. Jill could vaguely see the silhouette of Joseph's figure, but he didn't see what was chasing him.
Several members of the team from other directions were running in Joseph's direction, and Jill also took a step to act, she was closest to Joseph and should have arrived first. However, she had not taken a few steps when gunshots rang out from Joseph's side.
"Bang!"
Jill immediately recognized the sound of a shotgun, and that it was a modified shotgun. This must have been Joseph who had secretly brought out the weapon in violation of Wesker's orders
"Bang!" "Ahh No! ”
The second gunshot was accompanied by Joseph's screams, and a dark shadow scurried up the trunk of the tree, creating a flash of light as the shotgun fired, and Jill finally saw what had attacked Joseph, a large, muscular canine.
The strong, black hound dodged the shotgun attack and immediately pounced on Joseph. Fangs gripped the handle of the shotgun he was parrying.
"Joseph!?" Jill pulled out his pistol and pulled the trigger on the shadow. The bullet hit its body immediately, but it didn't let go, not even screaming, as if it had hit a piece of wood.
The hound's saliva dripped down the handle of the gun onto Joseph's face, and he smelled a strong smell of blood, accompanied by a severe rancid stench. Just a moment when he and the hound were in a stalemate, even more trouble came.
There was not only one terrible creature, but an even stronger hound sprung up from the depths of the forest, and in the light of a tactical flashlight, it bit Joseph's neck.
Jill's pistol bullets didn't do anything, and she couldn't do anything about it as she saw Joseph's neck spurting a lot of blood.
The second to arrive was Chris, who also shot the two calf-like hounds several times with his pistol. The hounds were unmoved, but instead accelerated their bite on Joseph. Just as Barry and Wesker arrived, two large hounds sprang out of the forest, staring at a few people not far away with scarlet eyes, and a few seconds later, they joined in biting Joseph.
Under the lighting of the tactical flashlight, everyone saw this terrifying scene, four strong large hounds were eating Joseph's body, and their sharp teeth bit on the flesh and made a "poof~snort" sound, tearing off a large piece of bloody flesh and swallowing it in their mouths.
These hounds are hairless, and a closer look reveals that their black skin is actually made from dried blood. They have only a small part of their skin, and most of their exposed muscles are covered in red-black blood clots.
Joseph's screams had long since stopped, blood was pouring out of his mouth, and the last bit of sound was drowned out by the hound's constant biting. Chris watched as a bloodied hound bit Joseph's neck with a bloodied mouth, spurting blood and exposing his throat and bones.
"Damn! What is it? Barry raised his Merlin pistol and aimed it at the head of a hound, which seemed to sense the danger and lifted its bloodied head, its reddish eyes turning to the strong human who was threatening.
Barry didn't hesitate to shoot, and Merlin's pistol fired a powerful large-caliber bullet that pierced through the dog's hind legs. Originally, he was aiming for the head, but the hound was extremely fast, and he had already begun to dodge to one side the moment he fired the shot.
At the same time as Barry fired, Chris, Jill, and Wesker also fired at the same time, but the small-caliber weapons in their hands did not help. ’
The wounded hound let out a long, miserable howl that radiated in all directions through the dense forest. Then Jill noticed a similar response around him, howling one after another.
"This, this is calling for help?!" Chris said in disbelief, stunned by the bloody scene before him, and then realized that they had become prey.
"It's a big problem." Barry could also hear howls around him, and it wasn't as simple as a few dogs.
"Brad, where are you?" Wesker immediately began calling the helicopter.
"Preparing to land, at eight o'clock, one hundred and fifty meters away."
Hearing Brad's response, Chris immediately pulled Jill and ran quickly, followed by Barry and Wesker behind him. It was no longer time to dispose of Joseph's body, for as soon as they moved, the three hounds began to chase after them.
In the darkness of the night, the four of them ran fast in the depths of the dense forest, as if some demon was chasing them closely. From time to time, Barry fired a shot to repel the hounds on their way.
Wesker ran away, pointing his pistol behind his back, wasting his ammo at random. It sounded like he was at the back of the temple, but the three men in front of him were running desperately, and none of them noticed Wesker's waste of bullets.
They didn't dare to stop for anything, and ran lifelessly in the direction where the helicopter landed, the sound of the propellers spinning could already be heard, and it seemed that life was in sight.
