Chapter 7: The Crisis Returns

The shelves with flashlights are located inside the supermarket, very far from the gate, which is darker and more desolate. Carl stepped into the aisle where the row of shelves was located, and his eyes scanned up and down the placed goods. To his distress, there were only knives, toilet paper, and the like, and there was no trace of a flashlight.

However, he obviously came to this place every day, and yesterday he saw a flashlight for sale, why is it suddenly gone?

"Luck ......," Carl shook his head, since there were no flashlights here, they might have been placed somewhere else. It's just, do you want him to go through every row of shelves? It's impossible, it's a waste of time, it's dangerous.

"Perhaps, I can go to the cargo hold inside the supermarket?" Karl thought. It's just that the cargo hold is a dark place all year round, and although there are all kinds of goods there, it is also full of unknowns.

Besides, he didn't have any lighting tools at all now, so could he just go in the dark? Carl said that he had a natural fear of the dark since all sorts of strange things had happened, and he didn't know what would happen if he had gone in unsuspectingly......

"Damn, what the hell is that?" Karl shuddered, he didn't understand what the dark shadow was, what its weight was, and what its source was. He didn't have that information, and it made him shudder.

He still had the courage to walk to the door of the cargo hold, this door is not big, because this is the front door, the supermarket shelves will be out of stock from here to get it, and the back door will generally only open when the cargo hold is out of stock and needs to be replenished.

"What is this?" Carl looked down, his pupils shrinking to the size of pintips. He crouched down, his eyes wandering in disbelief at some trail on the ground. He sniffed closer, mouth slightly open.

"Blood? How can there be blood here? He suddenly broke out in a cold sweat.

What's even more terrifying is that the blood is still fresh! He couldn't imagine what was going on, could there be any living people? If so, it's really too important! He needed information, more information.

"This blood, no more than an hour at most." His eyes lit up and he became excited. However, his brow furrowed after the excitement.

Because since there was blood stains, it proves that he was injured. And it seems that the situation is critical, as if something is chasing after it.

"I'd better go in." Carl thought that while he might not be able to run into the injured man, he had what he needed, and he had to go in anyway, just be careful.

Pushing the door open, Carl was relieved to take a look at half of his body. At least there was no danger at the door, but he was still on his guard. However, after taking a few steps, he suddenly stopped.

Why can I see things in the dark? He froze.

"How is this ......" Carl discovered the fact that he could actually see his surroundings in the dark, even if it was only about ten meters away. When did this happen? It's like this since I woke up in the hallway.

"Vegetables, artificial food, electrical appliances......" Carl reluctantly accepted the fact that his body had changed, and began to scan the cargo hold. After the initial shock, the change in vision was not a bad thing for him.

He browsed several shelves and finally came to a box. I saw the instruction manual on the surface of the box and found it! He was overjoyed.

"Huh? It's here. Carl took the box, but his face sank. It's light, yes, he doesn't feel the weight at all, it's not that his body structure has changed again, it's that the box is empty at all.

Karl resisted the urge to smash things and walked to the next box. Take it down, it's empty again! His face sank a little again. Walked to the next box.

Empty!

It's empty again!

Another empty one was found!

Fack! It's empty again!

Carl looked around with a grim face, and for some reason, for a moment, he wanted to smash the cargo hold. He took a deep breath and resisted the urge, but his fists were clenched white.

"Damn, are you going to lie down for nothing?" After Cal calmed down his frustration, he sighed helplessly. He walked a few blocks and came to this place with his wounds all over his body, only to find that he had gained nothing.

Not! Not!

"Who?" Carl snapped into his senses and pulled a knife from his waist and held it in front of him. His piercing eyes swept away, and finally stopped in front of the utility room door. The sound seems to come from there.

Not! Not!

Karl moved his feet and slowly approached the door, which he could hear more clearly because of the proximity, a bit like the shouts of a man when he was gagged.

He put his hand on the door lock, twisted it hard, and then slammed it open. The smell of blood greeted him, and the smell made Carl take a few steps back, and what made him even more disgusted was that the flies were buzzing there.

Not! Not!

After taking a few steps back, Carl's pupils suddenly shrank. The sight in front of him made him almost unsteady on his feet, it was terrible!

The man's eyes lit up, "Hmm...... Hmmm......"

His hands and feet were nailed to the wall with steel bars, and it looked like a large letter. The body was even more entangled with bundles of wires, and the skin was cut into hideous wounds, and the whole person was turned into a blood gourd. It's hard to imagine who made this man like this.

Holding back the terrible smell of blood, Carl stepped forward to help him take out the towel that was stuffed in his mouth. The man screamed madly when the towel was pulled out.

"Help me! Save me! ”

"Damn it! Be quiet! Carlton stopped, "You idiot trying to attract all of that?" ”

"Help me! Save me! When he saw that Carl was not moving, he screamed and struggled all over. His body was cut again and drenched in blood.

Syllable!

"Shut up !! me" Karl said angrily. How could this person be so difficult to communicate?

The man came to his senses after he slapped him, and realized how stupid he had been yelling and screaming.

"Okay, I just hit you to calm you down quickly." Karl said helplessly.

"I understand." The middle-aged man smiled bitterly, "By the way, my name is Frank, can you help me get it down?" ”

Hearing this, Carl frowned, not that he didn't want to help the man, but that he would probably die of blood loss after helping the man pull out the steel bars of his wrists and ankles.

"I want to ask ......" In the middle of his words, Carl felt the air around him suddenly chill, and his heart was shocked.

"Damn, those things are coming, coming!" Frank's pupils shrank to the size of pinpoint, and his face turned pale and said, "Quick, put me down!" Come on! ”

He struggled as if something terrible had happened, and the blood flowed down again as the wound was torn.
