Chapter 43: The Elder Scrolls
Bruno found that although the words in the parchment scroll were so inscrutable that they could not be understood, there was a pattern to follow. They are arranged in a staggered manner on both sides of the three lines, and seem to have a very clear meaning of annotation.
On both sides of the two lines, the symbols on the left side look like Roman numerals, and they change regularly. On the right, where the symbol ascends parallel to the height, there are mysterious characters corresponding to each of them.
A symbol that corresponds to a written record. Very much like our chronology of events today!
The common starting point of the three lines is a hand-drawn image. Because it is so old, the image is a little mottled and blurry.
But the basic outline of the image is still clear. It appears to describe a cigar-like object with a raised tail and an airplane wing-like structure in the middle, but very short, like the pectoral fins of a whale's massive body. And this is very similar to modern spacecraft.
The "aircraft" tilted, the nose of the aircraft leaned upwards, and the few graffiti on its tail and side of the fuselage did not look like air currents, but more like the smoke that filled before the crash!
On the top of the "flying machine", five small squares and a triangle about the size of the small square were drawn.
The meaning of these patterns makes the two of them both unpredictable and mysterious.
Radiating from these six side-by-side figures are the three arrowed lines that span almost the entire length of the parchment.
The missing part in the upper left corner of the parchment is very conspicuous. Comparing the length of the entire parchment scroll, Bruno thinks that the missing part is at least as large as the size of two palms open side by side!
The split mark of the brush in the upper left corner clings to the tip of the arrow of the leftmost line, and almost half of the arrow is cut off.
And it is clear that the missing parchment must have some annotation or record that contains some kind of meaning. Because the wound of the rough division not only cut the parchment scroll, but also the text on it.
This is undoubtedly another layer of missing helplessness to the unknown regret for those who keep the parchment.
"Bishop Bruno, judging from your account, this Ed must be our generation of Adam."
"Although you and I have worked together for many years, I already know your character and temperament, Your Excellency. It's just that this matter involves a wide range of people, the world is difficult, and people's hearts are sinister, and this is related to the rise and fall of human destiny. Hope don't mind."
Bruno stared at the Pope's eyes that shone with wisdom and sincerity, and his heart was already relieved. I can't help but think back to the past.
