Chapter 189: What a charm

Her hand landed on a small table beside the table, and she touched a small rose porcelain bowl with two statues of cherubs smirking at her. The room was so quiet that she could barely hold back her screams to break the silence. She had to do something or she would go crazy. She grabbed the porcelain bowl and threw it desperately towards the fireplace at the other end of the room. The porcelain bowl just grazed the high back of the sofa, snapped, and smashed into pieces on the marble mantelpiece.

A voice came from deep within the couch, "It's so unbelievable. ”

She had never been so panicked and scared, her mouth was dry and she couldn't speak. She grabbed the back of her chair, her legs straightened, and saw Rhett Butler get up from the couch where he was lying and bow politely and somewhat exaggeratedly.

"A quarrel just now was poured into my ears, and a nap was disturbed, this is enough to choke, why do you want to kill me?"

He's a real person. Not a ghost. But, God, let him hear everything! She pulled herself together and put on a posture.

"Sir, you should let others know about it here."

"Really?" His white teeth gleamed, and his bold black eyes mocked her, "But you're the one who broke in." I was waiting for Mr. Kennedy to leave, and I felt that I might not be welcome in the backyard, so I moved my pesky body here to avoid it, thinking that no one would disturb me here. Who knows, oops! He shrugged and chuckled.

The thought of what this rude and rude fellow had heard and what she had heard at this moment rather than mention it again made me angry.

"You eavesdropping one," she said angrily.

"People who hide from eavesdropping often hear interesting and interesting things." He grinned and said, "Based on my long-term experience of eavesdropping, I'm one"

"Sir," she said, "you are not a gentleman! ”

"Good eyesight," he replied flirtatiously. "You, miss, are not a lady." He seemed to find her amusing, for he chuckled under his breath again, "What kind of lady is a man who said and did what I had just overheard?" But then again, the lady wasn't very attractive to me. I know what they think, but they don't have the courage or education to say what they think. And, one day, it will turn into a nasty guy. But what about you, dear Miss O'Hara, your spirit is invaluable; This spirit is truly admirable, and I take my hat off to you. I really don't understand what kind of charm this Sven Mr. Welx has to charm a girl with a violent temperament like you. How does he say that he can have such a person as you? A girl who is full of enthusiasm for life should really kneel down and thank God, but who knew that he was a poor worm who was as timid as a mouse."

"You don't deserve to wipe his boots!" She roared furiously.

"Aren't you going to hate him for the rest of your life?" He sat down on the couch and said she heard him laughing.

If she could have killed him, she would have done it a long time ago. Unexpectedly, she tried her best to put on an indifferent shelf, walked out of the library, and slammed the heavy door shut.

She walked briskly up the stairs, and when she reached the top of the stairs, she felt like she was going to faint. She stopped and held on to the railing. Angry, aggrieved, and running away like this in a hurry, her heart comments jumped wildly, as if she was about to jump out of her tights. She desperately took a deep breath, but Mama Black tied her waist too tightly. What would people think if she fainted and people found her fainting at the top of the stairs? Oh, Ashley and that nasty guy named Butler, and those nasty girls who are so jealous, they're all going to be cranky! For the first time in her life, she wished she had sniffed salt like the other girls, and she didn't even have a sniffer. She has always prided herself on never feeling dizzy. She couldn't allow herself to faint now.
