The fog of the Brahmaputra

After walking for two or three hours from Zhucun to Bangxin, the road ahead collapsed in several places, and vehicles were no longer passable.

Looking at the location and area of the highway collapse, there is no possibility of opening to traffic in the short term. It's no wonder that there is not a single car to be seen along the way.

The place where the road collapsed was between the cliffs, and it took me a lot of effort to climb over the collapsed mud and rocks.

Above the collapse of the highway is the rocks and sediment, below is the abyss, and below the abyss is the rolling Brahmaputra River.

It took me a long time to recover from the collapsed mud and rocks. Fortunately, the rain did not fall again along the way, otherwise the collapse would not have been able to pass no matter what.

Crossing the collapsed section, it is almost half the way from Zhucun to Bangxin. At the top of a small hill not far from the collapse, I put down my backpack and sat down on a rocky side of the road to take a nap.

Looking forward from the top of the mountain, the winding road hangs like a winding rope over the cliff along the mountainside.

At the foot is the tumbling Brahmaputra River, the river water after the rain is turbid, and the rushing rhythm is heard on the top of the mountain, like a burst of rapid wind.

The green hills on both sides of the river are steep, and there is not a single bird in sight. After sitting on the top of the mountain for a while, the sky was covered with clouds and gradually began to roll.

Sitting on the rocks, I watched as the clouds rolled in the sky pulled the mist behind the distant mountains drifting. At first, the fog only spread in the distant mountains, but soon there was a white haze in the mountains near and far and the river at the feet.

The fog rose, making the distant scenery suddenly ethereal. In an instant, all the green mountains and trees in the distance loomed in the fog.

The Brahmaputra River was soon also covered in a thick white mist, like a white dragon twisting and churning.

In an instant, I only heard the sound of the river, but I didn't see the face of the river. The fog band formed on the surface of the river is constantly condensing and rising, like a change in a dream.

These fogs quickly rendered the distant mountains, and then enveloped the clouds and mist of the distant mountains, forming huge waves that rolled in from the distant mountains.

At this moment, the road between the mountains and cliffs appears from time to time, which has the meaning of leading to fairyland. Looking back, the way I came from was completely blocked by clouds.

Only a white wave rolled around, only a wisp of mist swept through like spider silk in the wind.

The fog sometimes gathers in large chunks, sometimes drifts around. Not far behind him, the giant pine that grew on the cliff was surrounded by fog, and only a huge black tree could be seen in the white expanse, as if it was a fence blocking the way to the sky.

I sat on a rock at the top of the mountain, and the mountain wind was blowing in the mist. The faint mist carried a cloud of moisture, and when you take a breath, there is an indescribable freshness and comfort.

The clouds and mist swirled in front and back, layer by layer, and soon surrounded me. In the fog, seven or eight steps away, there was a white world.

In the midst of the darkness of the world, I sat alone on the top of the mountain, like a lonely star in the universe that would not shine.

I finally reluctantly left the rocks, put on a heavy backpack, and walked on the steep mountain road.

The foggy world is sometimes clear, sometimes blurry. The damp mist hit my face, and I finally couldn't tell where the sweat was and where the fog was.

The path traveled is no longer discerning, and the road to the road is gradually revealed in the boundless white. The clouds rise and fog rise underneath your feet, as if you are walking in space.

I walked step by step, walking in this blurred white color. Looking up at the world beyond the clouds in the distance, am I on my way to that world?
