A native of Daliangshan in Zhu Village

During the rainy season, I walked up the Brahmaputra River, and along the way, I learned about the rainy season. The rain in the rainy season is very arbitrary, sometimes with fine needles and wisps, sometimes with heavy rain, and the interlocking is against the sunny day. According to the locals, it is not uncommon for it to rain for more than ten or twenty days in a row during the rainy season every year. Along the way, when it rains heavily, I stop whenever there is a village. As soon as the rain was light, hurry forward. It's a pity that every time it rains heavily, there is often no trace of the village around, so you can only survive in the heavy rain, and you can take it step by step like a soup chicken. Just like that, I stopped and stopped, and when it rained heavily, I came across a village, and this village was called Zhu Village. Outside a small shop at the back of the village, where the rain was foggy and the surroundings were blurry, I bought a pack of cigarettes and sat on a bench under the eaves of the commissary, waiting for the rain to subside before moving on, hoping to make it to Bang Xin camp that night.

The rain is not small at all, but tends to be more and more violent. More than two hours passed in the blink of an eye, and the owner of the commissary told me that the road in front of me had collapsed and could not be opened to traffic. You can walk through, if you can't see the road clearly in the dark, you can't walk, the collapse is on the edge of the cliff, a long road, very dangerous. Time passed quickly, and seeing that he couldn't get to help Xin that day, he might have to camp on the road again.

While waiting, seven or eight people came out of the heavy rain and went straight to the shop behind me. The men were between twenty and forty years old and had tools such as steel shovels in their hands. At first, I thought it was a local resident, but I realized it wasn't when I chatted. They are a construction team of telecommunications infrastructure projects, all of which are Yi men from Daliang Mountain, Sichuan. They were curious to see the big bag of gear I was carrying. Q: Where am I going? What are you going to do? I said I'm here to travel, to see the Brahmaputra Grand Canyon. They were puzzled by what I was doing. I said that a person can't just live in one place for a lifetime, and that is no different from pigs and cattle in captivity. People should go out and see what the outside world is like, and see how people live in the outside world. In this way, a person's life is not in vain.

The rain has been very heavy, and it seems that it will not stop for a while. These men from Daliang Mountain said that I would definitely not be able to leave today, so let me stay and make do with them for one night, and wait for the rain to stop tomorrow. I see that it is getting late, and that's all I can do.

These bold men from the Great Liangshan carried my backpack into their house. This is their rented camp. I talked a lot with these men from Daliangshan, they all left Daliangshan for the first time, and they all had a lot of curiosity in their hearts. I told them some anecdotes that I had seen during my travels, some of the lifestyles and perceptions of the metropolis that were far away for them, and some of the photos I had taken while traveling abroad. They listened to me very attentively.

The dinner of the people of Daliangshan is as atmospheric as that of the people of Daliangshan. A large basin of stew, a large basin of greens, a few large bowls of spices they were used to eating, and a large bowl of rice. They took turns carrying large pieces of meat into my bowl, saying that they were all out of the house, so you should not be polite. They laughed and joked with each other while eating, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I couldn't understand what they said, so someone translated what they said into Chinese. Most of them are jokes about going out for the first time. There is no shying away from each other, and this kind of atmosphere makes people can't help but have the same pride as them in their hearts.

In the evening, the men of Daliangshan made a bed for me, some of them squeezed a bed for two people, and some of them made bunks on the floor. We sat on our beds and continued our conversation during the day, and I gave each of them a copy of some of the banknotes I had in my wallet that I had kept as souvenirs from my trip to Southeast Asia. They looked at the colorful foreign money, took it in their hands one by one, wondered curiously, and asked me if it could be used here. The thousands of denominations of money in Indonesia and Vietnam amazed them even more.

Two young men in their twenties from Daliangshan seemed attracted by what I said, and they said that they also did not want to stay in the mountains for the rest of their lives, knowing nothing about the outside world. They have to work hard to earn money, work hard to save money, and in the future they will definitely go to all parts of China and try to go to foreign countries as well. The words of the young men surprised me a little, I know that the bold Daliangshan man is a promise.

When a seed floats into a dream, it will bloom into a beautiful flower.
