Chapter Seventy-One: Joe Ziel
In an instant, Batman sent the group of robbers to the ice of Antarctica.
"It's 50 miles from the McModo Research Station in the United States, and because of the protection of the Antarctic Mountains, it's rare to see minus 40 degrees here. In three hours, an icebreaker will pass by, and when that time comes, you can send a signal with the contents of the storage box for them to come to your rescue! Batman said to the group of robbers.
"And before, you can take out the gunpowder in the bullet to keep warm, or you can remove the seat cushion of the car as firewood, but it really doesn't work, there is still heating in the car."
After saying that, Batman was ready to disappear, and the cries of the robbers were not listened to by Batman, and the chair told him that they would be fine. Tonight, the residents of Gotham City can go home safely, and the city is safe.
"No, no, you can't leave us here, no!"
"I can!"
"You're full of malice now, Mr. Philip, you're in your ex-wife's bedroom, with a knife in your mouth, and you're full of alcohol." Batman appears in an unfamiliar apartment.
"I sacrificed so much for her, but she dumped me." The man roared emotionally. "She didn't even want to run away with someone else at my chance."
The man was furious, and Batman read out of the man's mind what the man had planned for tonight, and if he didn't make a move tonight, then sooner or later the matter would lead to a tragedy.
So in an instant, Batman threw the man into the river in Gotham City, and the icy water of the river helped him get rid of his stupid thoughts.
"Next, it's time to take care of some personal matters! Take me to Crime Alley! "Batman ordered to the Morbius Chair.
Once again, the tragic scene unfolds, and the Morbius Chair perfectly reenacts the scene that Batman will never forget.
"Mom!" Batman reaches out, but nothing can be saved.
"Joe Ziel, take me to him!" Batman stared at the man's face, as if engraved him in his heart, and hatred continued to flow out like an overflowing tank.
"I knew you were going to be here!" There was already a man in Gotham's cell, and the whole cell was like a dark old interrogation cell.
Joe Zill was tied to the cross, but Jesus was upright and Joe Ziel was upside down.
"What do you want to do? I'm not a big guy, just a small character. Joe Kiel said in horror. The handstand position made him dizzy, like he wanted to explode.
"You know I'm going to be here?" Batman said, looking at El.
"You're not the only one who can see the future, Batman." Elf weighed the sharp blade in his hand, it was a slashing knife, an ancient torture instrument in the Middle East. "I knew you were here, I've been waiting for you for a long time."
"Help me, Batman." Joe Zill shouted in horror.
"Shut him up, Hassan!" The beautiful Hassan sewed Joe Zil's mouth, and the heart-piercing toxin penetrated into Joe Zil's skin, leaving him sweating continuously, and his eyes almost cracked.
"Time Gem." The chair told Batman what he knew.
"The Chair of Morbius?!" El looked at the chair Batman sat down. "My father, how does it feel to be a god? The God of Knowledge, omniscient, sees through everything. ”
"Helena, why didn't you tell me." Batman has always wanted to talk to El and now is an opportunity.
"It's for my mother." El showed a hint of guilt for the first time in a long time. "I know it's unfair to Helena, she's my sister, but I care more about my mother than a sister I haven't met."
"You did the right thing, it was me who was wrong, I did the wrong thing, and I should pay for it." Batman felt a little guilty, and he thought that the bigger fault was his own than El's actions.
"Don't feel guilty, my father, I was too selfish, but I never denied it." El put the knife down. "I'm different from all of you, I know my boundaries clearly, and I can't be a hero."
"My concern is limited to my family, my friends. Superman is the god of love and selflessness, you are the guardian of the whole of Gotham, you are for justice, peace and your unyielding faith, and I am just for my own little selfishness. ”
"What are you going to do with Joe Ziel?" Batman asked.
"A tooth for a tooth, blood for a blood!"
"Zila!" The blade pierced into the flesh, blood spilled to the floor, and Joe Zill writhed his body.
"You're going to kill him!"
"I don't have a precept not to kill, you follow the law to punish crimes, you always maintain the status of heroes, always warn yourself that you are a man and not a god, a defender of justice rather than justice itself." El slowly raised his hands, red as red blood.
"I, the only way to stop killing is to kill!"
"Killing only produces greater killing, pain only gives birth to more suffering, and in blood is born a tainted heart rather than a flawless flower." Batman looked at Eyre, he realized something, he didn't want to think about it, but he had to think about it again.
"I've understood this since I embarked on this path, Joe Zill has given it to you, some people are more miserable to live than to die." The scene fades away, and the ancient gloomy interrogation room disappears.
Joe Zill twitched on the ground, and time returned to the cramped cell.
Batman refocused his gaze on Jozier.
"I'm curious how a lowly scumbag like you can live in such an eight-foot square, dayless, stinking cell for the rest of his life." Batman pinned Joe Zill to the wall and said angrily.
"No, help me, help me, guard, guard." Joe Zill was already frightened, and he shouted for the guards, but no one heard or responded. Batman has set up a soundproof barrier around him, and no one will hear or care.
Joe Chell wept bitterly and begged Batman to let him go, but how could it be, this scumbag, ruined his home and let himself walk alone in the dark world.
"Leave me alone, Batman, my sentence has long since been served. But the Board of Appeals refused to let me out because I killed one of the most powerful people in Gotham City. As soon as Joe Zill said this, he was teleported to Crime Alley.
