Chapter 16 Final Strike Sixteen

When he returned home, Patriarch Yide didn't have time to rest, and he heard that his mother had fallen ill because of his own affairs. Patriarch Yide rushed to his mother's room and finally caught up with his mother for the last time. Patriarch Yide did not finish his father's funeral and had to do a funeral for his mother, this kind of blow is really difficult for Patriarch Yide to accept who has no worries about food and clothing all his life. At this time, Miss Xue had an accident again, and she accidentally slipped in order to preside over the overall situation of the funeral for her husband. She was immediately identified as having been born prematurely, and when the midwife arrived, she was bleeding profusely and breathing very weakly. In the end, neither the adults nor the children were saved, and two more dead people were left in the British public house. Patriarch Yide fainted on the spot, who can withstand this kind of blow.

After Patriarch Yide woke up, he straightened up and completed the funeral of his father, mother, wife, and three children. Only then did I realize that I hadn't seen my only living daughter for a long time, and I found out that my daughter was also critically ill. The daughter was too young to take care of herself, and when she fell ill, people didn't dare to tell the bad mood of Patriarch Yide, so the delay delayed the child. By the time Patriarch Yide remembered this daughter, the daughter could no longer be saved. Patriarch Yide held this only child of his own, and he really couldn't say a word.

Everyone in the British Mansion knows that Patriarch Yide is in a particularly bad mood, and no one dares to care about it or really cares about Patriarch Yide. In the end, someone invited the retired Patriarch Yide's nurse Mama Mo, and Mama Mo persuaded Patriarch Yide not to continue to abuse herself. But Patriarch Yide has tortured himself to the bone, and he has no aura at all. Mama Mo knew that Patriarch Yide would only think of his parents, wife and children when he stayed in the house, and he would be even more sad when he thought of these relatives, so she persuaded Patriarch Yide to go for a walk. Xungui is not allowed to leave his own territory like the clan, so Xungui often travels with him. Patriarch Yide's parents did not allow their son to go out when he was alive, the first was because he was worried about Patriarch Yide's safety, and the second was because he was afraid that Patriarch Yide would be taken by others.

Under the persuasion of Mama Mo, Patriarch Yide had the idea of going outside, and the people were sloppy and ready to pack. It is not easy for large families to travel, especially since Patriarch Yide is already the current British prince, and safety and security work is very important. Patriarch Yide first went to Lushan, then went to Mount Tai, then went south to Huangshan, Yandang Mountain, and finally came to Wuyi Mountain. In Wuyi Mountain, Patriarch Yide tasted the authentic Da Hong Pao for the first time, and immediately fell in love with this kind of black tea with a sweet aftertaste. Patriarch Yide didn't want to go home immediately, so he simply stayed in Wuyi Mountain, and visited the scenery of Wuyi Mountain while drinking tea.

Here Patriarch Yide met a person who influenced his life, and a passage and a book from this unknown monk completely changed the second half of Patriarch Yide's life. A monk, also known as a hermit, refers to a person who cultivates in the mountains far away from the world. These people abandon the prosperity of the world, stay away from their relatives and families, and pursue a higher level of ideal life. Taoist monks hope for immortality, and Buddhist monks hope for the fulfillment of merit. These people live alone in the mountains and live an almost savage life, with little contact with outsiders. Patriarch Yide also met this monk by accident, and the monk was originally reluctant to communicate with Patriarch Yide. Seeing that the monk was in rags, Patriarch Yide couldn't help but take off his coat and drape it over the monk. If Patriarch Yide gave money or clothes to the monk, the monk might walk away dismissively. But instead of doing this, Patriarch Yide put his clothes on the monk with his own hands, which is a kind of fate and a kind of chance.

The monk asked Patriarch Yide what he was doing here, and Patriarch Yide said that he came here to drink tea and relax. The monk asked Patriarch Yide why he wanted to be distracted, was his heart very bitter? Patriarch Yide briefly said his own affairs. After laughing three times, the monk asked Patriarch Yide solemnly, is it true that you don't know how to be blessed when you are in the midst of blessings? The monk explained the first half of Patriarch Yide's life in a causal relationship that Patriarch Yide had never heard of. It is a blessing to be born in the British government, it is a blessing to be able to become a British princess, it is a blessing to be able to have a beautiful appearance that others do not have, it is a blessing to be able to meet such a good wife, and it is a blessing to be able to have such a lovely child. But blessings are just blessings, and there will be a time when they run out. How to cherish and maintain this blessing is the most important thing. If you want to keep the good, you must have to pay, there is no perfect me in life, this is life, this is the world. The so-called giving is to give and gain, and only with giving away will there be gain, or what must be lost in order to keep something. For people like Patriarch Yide, if they want to live a rich life, they must lose their family love, and if they want a happy family together, they must lose their glory or status. No one can fully enjoy everything, nor can they completely lose everything. Just like Patriarch Yide now, although he has gone to his relatives and family, he still has an honorary position and power. If you want to continue to have love or affection in the future or in the next life, you must make sacrifices at this time. The more you sacrifice, the more you will gain in the future, and if you don't want to sacrifice, you will lose more in the future.

When the monk saw that Patriarch Yide had some understanding, he carefully handed over a burden to Patriarch Yide and left. Thinking of the monk's words, Patriarch Yide unconsciously took over the burden, not realizing that the monk had left. By the time Patriarch Yide came to his senses, the monk had already gone far away and could not be found, leaving only a burden to prove that Patriarch Yide was not dreaming. After looking at the baggage, Patriarch Yide decided to open the baggage and see what was inside. The monk was sloppy, but the burden was very clean and tidy, and when he opened layer after layer of baggage, there was a Buddhist scripture inside. This Buddhist scripture called "Jizo Bodhisattva Honwish Sutra" is half-new, but it is very clean and solemn. Patriarch Yide, who had never been in contact with Buddhist scriptures, felt the solemnity of Buddhist scriptures for the first time.

Since Patriarch Yide did not study well since he was a child, he did not know many words, so he invited a gentleman to read Buddhist scriptures for him. Mr. is not a student of Buddhism, and he has come into contact with this sutra for the first time. Mr. read the Buddhist scriptures aloud for Patriarch Yide while watching, and Patriarch Yide knew little about the Buddhist principles in the Buddhist scriptures, but Mr. told Patriarch Yide that the Buddhist principles in the Buddhist scriptures were very profound and meaningful. He persuaded Patriarch Yide to concentrate on reading, and that it was better to read it with respect. Mr. is on the side to escort Patriarch Yide, and if Patriarch Yide does not know words or sentences that Patriarch Yide does not understand, Mr. will try his best to help Patriarch Yide explain.

In this way, Patriarch Yide lived in Wuyi Mountain for more than half a year before he could barely read through the Buddhist scriptures. Mr. said goodbye and went back, and when he left, he told Patriarch Yide that this sutra is not only very Buddhist but also a book of filial piety, and he hoped that Patriarch Yide could truly understand and comprehend. Patriarch Yide, who barely read the Buddhist scriptures once, also felt the subtlety of the Buddhist scriptures, and after sending Mr. away, Patriarch Yide did not leave, but once again concentrated on studying the Buddhist scriptures. This time, it took him a month to read the Buddhist scriptures, but this time his comprehension of the Buddhist scriptures was deepened to a new level.

Just as Patriarch Yide was about to read the Buddhist scriptures for the third time, Patriarch Yide seemed to have entered a delicate world that night. The scene here is almost the same as the hell in the Buddhist scriptures, and Patriarch Yide seems to have seen a lot of acquaintances here. There were his parents, but also his relatives, as well as his wife and children. These people were all subjected to various torture instruments, and their moans and cries were so painful that Patriarch Yide did not dare to listen to them anymore. Patriarch Yide, who woke up from his dream, did not dare to read the Buddhist scriptures anymore, nor did he dare to sleep anymore, as long as he closed his eyes, he would see or hear visions.

It was also from that night that Patriarch Yide's whole person changed, and he no longer enjoyed and did not dare to mention his family. The subordinates didn't dare to tell Patriarch Yide, and on that night, Patriarch Yide's black hair turned white overnight. Patriarch Yide's white hair makes people feel weird, and it also increases outsiders' misunderstanding of Patriarch Yide's age. Since Patriarch Yide did not dare to read the Buddhist scriptures anymore, Patriarch Yide was ready to continue his plan to travel to the mountains and rivers.

I don't know whether it was intentional or unintentional, Patriarch Yide actually went to Jiuhua Mountain. Jiuhua Mountain is the dojo of Jizo Bodhisattva, which is the source of the "Jizo Bodhisattva Sutra". Legend has it that Jizo Bodhisattva incarnated as a prince of Joseon, who gave up his throne for the sake of Buddhism and came to Jiuhua Mountain to become the most ordinary monk. He used boundless Buddhism to establish this Jizo Bodhisattva Dojo and established the foundation of one of the four famous mountains of Buddhism, the core of which is this "Jizo Bodhisattva Honwish Sutra".
