626, Khadgar Duten's questioning
Who is Khadgar?
He is one of the legendary archmages, and he is most proud not only of the power of arcane magic, but also of his heart for the whole of Azeroth.
In order to discover the secrets of the Guardian Medivan, the Kenrito Council decided to send the young mage Khadgar, who was only seventeen years old at the time, to Karazhan, and began his legendary and rich life from the apprentice of the astral mage Medivan to one of the most outstanding mages of mankind.
During his time in Karazhan, Khadgar meets the strange, strange, but friendly archmage Medivan, who reads a lot of books and learns a lot of magic from Medivan while helping Medivan manage his private library. A friendship gradually developed between the two masters, and Khadgar made rapid progress under the influence of Medivan, and through Medivan became acquainted with King Lane and then Ser Lothar.
Later, he also met the orc Garona in Karazhan and became very good friends with her. When they survive a demonic attack and stumble upon Medivan's secret, Sargeras's soul takes control of his mind, and it turns out that he is the one responsible for the war.
The two then rushed to Stormwind and informed King Ryan of the incident. The next day, Khadgar and Garona rushed back to Karazan with Ser Lothar and raided the Tower of Medivan. They followed Medivan all the way to a basement, where Khadgar fell under Medivan's spell during a fierce battle, making him look dozens of years older.
Eventually, however, Khadgar managed to kill his mentor, the demon-possessed Guardian, causing Sargeras's soul to be cast into the abyss and forbidden to return to Medivan's body. Garona was traumatized during the battle and then vanished. Before leaving Karazhan, Khadgar met a strange and familiar spirit, spoke with him, packed up and left Karazan for good.
Back in Darla, Khadgar indulged in the study of portal magic, which his mentor had used to summon the evil orcs. Soon after, the orc army attacked Stormwind, and Khadgar joined the Human Resistance, but the Human Resistance was quickly defeated with the assassination of Stormwind King Ryan Wrynn.
He then traveled with Ser Lothar to the north, to Lordaeron for help, and they visited the wise Tyrenus II, and later Khadgar to the Council of Kenrito at Dalaran Violet Castle. Khadgar wanted to reveal the secrets of the Dark Gate, and during the Second War, he and his assistants in Dalaran delved into the portal's magic items, which later became especially useful.
After the battle with the portal, Khadgar uses his mystical powers to destroy the portal's energy, but even so, he fails. Because even though all his power was focused on the Dark Portal, there were cracks that survived the onslaught of his magic. In the final moments of the world's destruction, Khadgar discovers a rift and guides the Dark Gate Five heroes into it. Kenrito came to Azeroth at the suggestion of Khadgar and established the stronghold of the Watch Fortress in the Blackwater Swamp south of the Swamp of Sorrows. Khadgar stayed there to continue his research into the Dark Gate and promised that it would not be reused.
A few years after the original episode, the day that terrified Khadgar finally came again, the portal had begun to be rebuilt, and soon the portal was open again, and the swarming orcs began to attack the Watchtower. Secretly, Neozu took advantage of the chaos to send people to take the Book of Medivan, the Eye of Dalaran, and the Scepter of Sargeras. Upon hearing the news, Khadgar suspected that the orcs were doing this in an attempt to open more spatial portals.
For the sake of the people of Azeroth and the future of the world, and to stop Neozu's evil plans once and for all, Khadgar, along with General Tulayan, Danas Torbain, Aurelia Windranger, and Griffin Knight Kudran Brutehammer, leads a coalition of humans, dwarves, and elves on an expedition to the world of Draenor in an attempt to hunt down Neozu.
However, at this time, the crazy Naozu had already used the power of the three artifacts to open a new rift at all costs, and the huge energy shock caused the destruction of the world of Draenor. It didn't take long for Khadgar to realize that Draenor's destruction would lead to a catastrophe in the world of Azeroth, which meant that he had to close the dark door linking the two worlds on Draenor's side in order to protect the world of Azeroth from this twisted force.
Using the Book of Medivan and the Skull of Gul'dan, he eventually achieved his goal, but at the same time he cut off the expeditionary force from their way home, leaving them in a world that was in the process of destruction. Khadgar was also sucked into the Twisted Void for risking closing the Dark Gate.
Khadgar was unconscious in the Twisted Void, his soul consciousness wandering around, and he survived thanks to the advanced knowledge and soul-walking skills he had learned from Medivan. At this time, he was desperate, but he happened to meet another mysterious race in the universe - the Naru people who brought the divine and holy light to all corners, under the guidance of Naru, Khadgar was taken to the former site of the Draenei capital of the Delenei, the ruins of Shattrath, he and the various races wandering in Draenor, under the leadership of Naru, rebuilt the city, which is the "city of light" in Naru's words, and Khadgar stayed here to explore the profound knowledge from Naru.
By the time the story reaches Draenor's version, Khadgar enters the world of Draenor, along with the savior shaman Thrall, the garrison Marlad, and other allies, to fight against the Iron Horde, an army of destruction consisting of Gromash Hellroar, Kargas Bladefist, Blackhan Black Hand, Kilrog Deadeye, and Neozu.
Khadgar and Thrall use the Iron Horde's cannons to destroy the Dark Gate in the Ananta Jungle and stop the Iron Horde's army from flooding Azeroth. At the same time that the Dark Gate was blown up, the Clan Chiefs of the Iron Tribe were already up above to meet the challenges of the Alliance and the Horde.
Khadgar is involved in the war to recapture Shattrath along with the Salvation Shaman Sal, Durotan, and the garrison Marrad and Iriel. Tarado is the heart of Draenor and is of great strategic value. By the time Khadgar and the others arrived in Talado, the Iron Tribe had already taken over most of the northern part of Talado, including Shattrath City.
The Alliance and the Horde have teamed up to recapture Shattrath and drive the Iron Tribe out of Talado.
On the other hand, a fierce conflict broke out between the Black Hand and Orgrim Doomhammer, and in the end, Blackhan killed Orgrim Doomhammer, and Durotan, Marrad, and Irel rushed to the Iron Tribe's warship to engage Blackhan. After the bomb exploded on the ship, Malrad died protecting Irel when the ship exploded.
Khadgar learned of the explosion of the battleship and ordered the gunners to prepare the cannons to deliver the final blow to the battleship, and was about to fire the cannonballs when a light appeared on the Black Hand's ship. Khadgar discovers and uses teleportation magic to teleport Durotan and Irel out of the battlefield, the cannon hits the battleship and is about to explode and sink, Blackhan jumps into the sea and escapes.
When Gul'dan attempted to reopen the Dark Gate and lead the Burning Legion to launch a full-scale assault on Azeroth. Upon learning of this, Khadgar rallied the heroes of the Alliance and the Horde back to the Tanaan Jungle to try to stop Gul'dan's evil plans.
After tackling the threat in the Tanaan Jungle, Khadgar, Durotan, and Iriel finally arrive at the bridgehead named by Garrosh Hellroar: the Hellfire Fortress. Inside, Khadgar's forces fought the Burning Legion and the Orc Army, and rescued Gromash Hellroar, who was about to be executed by the Evil Lord Zakun, and the rest of the surviving Orcs.
Arriving at the Dark Gate, the Alliance and Horde armies discovered it too late, and Gul'dan had already opened the Void Gate to teleport Akmund the Polluter to Draenor. It took a lot of casualties from the Alliance and the Horde armies, as well as the heavy injuries of Khadgar, Durotan, Gromash, and Iriel, to defeat Akmund, who cast a spell on Gul'dan as he was defeated and dying, teleporting him to the Twisted Void.
Despite the final victory of the Alliance and the Horde, Khadgar felt that this was not the end of the story, and said goodbye to Irel and returned to Karazan on the upwind trail as "this is just the beginning".
In the latest plot, Khadgar was the first to get the information that the Burning Legion was about to invade again, and then led the foot man back to Karazan, and learned that if he wanted to save Azeroth, he had to find the Pillar of Creation, so after the tragic battle of the Broken Isles, Khadgar knew that if he wanted to defeat the Burning Legion, he must put aside all prejudices and fight together, so he pushed the tribe to enter Dalaran again to fight with the Alliance, and after Gianna angrily withdrew from Dara, Khadgar was successfully elected as the new Kenrito Guardian, And was acknowledged by Medivan.
At the critical moment of the Sulamar Rebellion, when the three elven leaders of Tyrande, Liadrin, and Weenlesa were trapped by Elisandr's time magic, Khadgar tried his best to save people and prepared for a decisive battle with Gul'dan in the Night Fortress.
After the battle in the Night Fortress ended, Khadgar began to prepare for a counterattack on the tomb of Sargeras, and the various factions worked together to establish a redemption outpost on Broken Beach, and Khadgar used this as a base to kick off the counteroffensive and drive the Burning Legion out of Azeroth.
Of course, in the end, the Burning Legion was driven out, and even the fraudster Kilgardan was literally killed, and by this point, the most important right and left men of the fallen titan Sargeras, Akmund the Polluter and Kilgardan the fraudster, had all been killed. Not only that, but Khadgar also led the foot men to counterattack the Draenei's hometown, the planet Argus, which has become one of the important bases of the Burning Legion.
Of course, there was also Illidan's hand in this matter, after all, if he hadn't used the Sagret Keystone to forcibly teleport Argus to Azeroth's orbit, the foot men would not have been able to attack Argus at this time.
Of course, the final outcome is that Agus is swept away by the Foot Man, and Sargeras's plan to resurrect is known to the Foot Man, who defeats Agrama and the controlled Titan Agus, and finally reawakens the Titans of the Pantheon, and pulls Sargeras from Ai-chan's body to complete the seal.
Therefore, the foreshadowing of a new version was laid. Of course, that's a later story, so let's not mention it.
Speaking of Khadgar, Khadgar's character setting is contrary to the rigid and rigorous personality traits of previous mages, he is intelligent and curious, and likes to delve into and probe some unknown secrets, all of which fully outline the image of a stubborn young mage. During his apprenticeship with Medivan in Karazhan, he won the favor of Medivan with his intelligence and eagerness to learn, and also accumulated a strong strength for himself. Khadgar is a mortal figure of flesh and blood, but he has shouldered his share of responsibility, and like any ordinary person, he has fear, but in the face of fear, he can make the right choice. Although he was ruthlessly robbed of his youth by magic in that battle, he eventually used his wisdom and courage to earn himself the title of one of the greatest magicians in the Alliance.
In addition to this, Khadgar discovered an herb that was also discovered by Khadgar due to its resemblance to a beard, which was discovered by Khadgar, so this herb is known as Khadgar's beard in honor of Khadgar, who first discovered it. It can be seen that Khadgar also has a deep knowledge in the study of herbology.
It can be said that this person is definitely a perfect person, a noble person, a person who is free from low-level interests, but in Du Teng's eyes, he is a person who should not be here the least.
Because Khadgar is a man of the neutral camp!
He doesn't favor the Alliance, he doesn't favor the Horde, he only works for the good of all of Azeroth, as he always did. But why is he here now? He was obviously neutral, but he sat in the seat of the representative of Stormwind City.
What does this mean? Do you think that this Dalaran has already made a choice? Does it mean that Stormwind will welcome the return of the Magic Kingdom?
Is it on the lookout for allies? Or is there some other attempt?
At this moment, Du Teng's heart thought a lot.
His pace remained the same, and he walked into the hall step by step. Standing still in everyone's gaze, looking at the others around him, his gaze finally fell on Khadgar's.
In the next second, a terrifying momentum erupted from Du Teng's body, sweeping through the entire conference hall like a storm.
Because of absorbing Cthun's flesh and blood, Du Teng's current body has completely departed from the category of ordinary humans, he is almost a miniature version of the ancient gods, and his strength is not weaker than the ancient gods.
The sudden burst of power made even Khadgar's face look horrified, and he quickly stood up, but Duten had already come to him.
Grabbing Khadgar's collar, Du Teng pulled him in front of him, forced to look at the other party, and Du Teng asked word by word.
"Khadgar...... Don't you understand what you're doing? If Dalaran wants to join the Alliance, we welcome it, please rest assured, I will shoot down your Floating City directly as soon as possible, I, I will do what I say. ”
