625. Unimportant people

Grand Druid Vandal Deerhelm was an ancient Night Elf of great repute, and was already a prominent member of the Council of Cenarion in his youth. Deerhelm's tall stature and fiery temperament made him a difficult and powerful druid in the eyes of the world, and he often defied his mentor for this, but was handpicked by Malfurion as one of the most gifted disciples of his students.

However, Deerhelm has a deep affection for his son, Walstein Deerhelm, and even after Walstein gets married and has children, Deerhelm still cares deeply about him. This may be due to the tragic death of Deerhelm's spouse while giving birth to Walstein, and his son has become the only bond of his family.

The Battle of Quicksand has been around for thousands of years. The root of this cataclysm came from Silisus, the southernmost territory of the Night Elves at the time. For Vandal Deerhelm, this was a devastating blow and an incurable wound, and the event is believed to be the real cause of the Great Druid's personality imbalance.

Once upon a time, there was a race of intelligent zergs known as "Chila" who wanted to compete for dominance of the continent of Kalimdor.

For the first few thousand years, the Chira Zerg of Silitsus learned from their failures in the long war with the Troll Empire and rebuilt their army under the leadership of the Elder God Cthun. At this time, the trolls no longer had the ability to stop the invasion of the Zermen, so the war spread to the territory of the Night Elves. The Night Elves had no choice but to defend their homeland, while the Kadore army led by the Deerhelm fought against the Zerg of Qila.

Under the concerted efforts of Walstan, the Deer Helmet showed great generals, and in fact, it was because of his bravery and skill in battle that the Zerg called the Deer Helmet "Kasis", which means "hand of the earth" in the Lar Worm language. No matter how many times they tried, the Chira Zerg simply couldn't defeat the Night Elf army under the leadership of the Deer Helm.

Although Rajax, the general of the Worms, believes that the Night Elves' defenses will collapse sooner or later, its twin emperors, Vikneelas and Viklor, are unwilling to win in a war of attrition. The Twin Emperors ordered Rajax to thoroughly investigate the background of the Hand of the Earth, and after investigating, Rajax finally discovered Vandal's only weakness - his son, Walstein Deerhelm.

The Zerg planned a battle to attack the village of Nanfeng and lured the enthusiastic Walstan to defend it, but the Zerg had already laid a cunning trap. Walstan's army was slaughtered, and he himself was taken prisoner by General Rajax to the front lines of the war, where he was torn to shreds by Rajax.

The loss of a child caused the Deerhelm to lose the will to fight, and soon after, the defeated Night Elf army was forced to retreat back to Tanaris via the Angolo Circle, where the victorious Zerg attacked the Bronze Dragons who had previously refused to help the Night Elves. They launched a surprise attack on the Cavern of Time. It was this stupid attack that brought the dragons together for the first time after Deathwing's betrayal, and eventually eliminated the Angela Zerg threat with the Scepter.

Victory in the battle could not soothe Vandal's grief, and Walstein's death was something that Deer Helmet had never anticipated before, and he could not withstand such a blow. In a fit of rage, he smashed the Scepter of Quicksand in front of the walls of the Qila Empire, then turned away, planting the seeds of hatred for the world in his heart.

After the Third Battle and the Battle of Hyjal, the Night Elves lost their World Tree, Nodashir, and thus their immortality. Malfurion also entered the Emerald Dream after this battle, and no one knew why, or how to wake him up again. Vandal took his place and became the Grand Druid.

Without Malfurion's intervention, Vandal persuaded the other Night Elves, and eventually the Druids came together to create the New World Tree, Teldashir. However, the New World Tree was not blessed by the Dragonlords like Nordasil, although it grew rapidly, and its huge groves could be seen even from the north coast of Kalindor, where the Cadores settled and began to build their first new city in millennia among the branches. But all this is not as perfect as Vandal thought, the night elves have not regained the ability to live forever, and Teldashir has begun to gradually corrupt, and monsters such as Sartre and Bad Demons have made this place their home.

And this also created an opportunity for the fall of the great druid.

In the original story, just a few months after the fall of the Lich King, Vandal summoned a number of druids to Teldashir to prepare a plan to "cure" the World Tree, and Nalarex, Blow Bearskin, and Hamul Rune Totem all received a summon from him. Ignoring Bloo's opinion, the Deer Helm intended to use the statue of Remlos to "heal" the World Tree, but after several days of uninterrupted treatment, the World Tree never got better, and even worsened, with the leaves beginning to turn black and withered, and the trunk cracked a lot.

Sensing that something must be wrong, Hamul decided to listen to the World Tree for himself, and at this point he discovered a terrible truth. The method that Vandal taught them to heal the World Tree was to actually poison the World Tree, and to make matters worse, Vandal was the one responsible for the corruption of the New World Tree and Malfurion's trapped dreaming in the first place.

Vandal tasked the council's druids to collect large quantities of Morning Glow, which were intended to be used to create a cursed poison to sprinkle on Malfurion's sleeping body, and if it weren't for the care of the Luna priests, Malfurion would not have been able to return even if he escaped from the Nightmare King's cage.

Vandal did all this, of course, for the sake of his dead son, Wastein, who was haunted by nightmares during his long journey to find a way to resurrect his son, but instead of tormenting him, the nightmare told him that there was a way to resurrect Wastein.

Vandal immediately accepted the Nightmare King's help and request, lured Malfurion into the Dream Investigation and was trapped in the Dream Realm, and then persuaded the Council to plant a second World Tree, and then secretly planted some of the Nightmare King's essence on Teldashir, causing the tree to be cursed from the beginning. Since then, the Nightmare King has controlled some of the power of the World Tree, and can carry out a series of spreading operations through the connection between Teldashir and the world.

The Nightmare King, of course, gave him a new son after Vandal had done all this for him, a Nightmare Minion in the form of Vastein. Vandal had kept his son well hidden, using the fake Vastein as a bridge between him and the Nightmare King.

This time, the Nightmare King was ready to invade Azeroth, and Fake Vastein conveyed an order: Vandal had gather all the druids on the side of the World Tree to prevent them from resisting when they found that the rest of the world had been attacked, and then let Vandal lead the druids to deepen the disease of the World Tree by seemingly healing but actually poisoning.

Ha Vandal, sensing that Hamul might have discovered his secret, attacked the noble Grand Druid. It was supposed to be a close battle, but Vandal received the power bestowed upon him by the Nightmare King, and he extracted the power of the Fallen World Tree, so he defeated Hamur and imprisoned him, intending to corrupt him as another Nightmare King's minions.

Malfurion, who had just awakened at this time, immediately set off to visit the condition of the World Tree. Just as he was about to arrive, he felt Hamoul convey to him the truth about Vandal's betrayal through the power of dreams. Malfurion was very distressed, he did not expect that the Vandal he had cultivated with his own hands would fall to such a point, and he immediately cast a spell to rescue Hamour so that he could warn the other druids to come to their aid, and a master-apprentice battle ensued.

Eventually, Malfurion shattered the shadow creature that had taken the form of Vastein, and Vandal, who could not bear the second loss of his beloved son, fainted due to the shock, Malfurion decided to imprison him in a prison used to purify his mind in the Moonlit Glades until he regained his senses, though he doubted that Vandal could actually recover. Malfurion then uses magic to find out the location of the Nightmare King's Essence that lives on the World Tree, and joins forces with all the other druids to eradicate it completely, freeing the World Tree from the Nightmare's corruption.

However, after the cataclysm, while Vandal was imprisoned, the orc army attacked Ashenvale and burned Astrana, and the granddaughter of the deer helmet was also killed, and Vandal, who had just woken up, was once again dealt a heavy blow.

When Ragnaros's army attacked Mount Hyjal, the green dragon Aerysra said that she feared that the Twilight's hammer would rob Vandal and that if such a powerful Great Druid fell into the hands of the enemy, the Deerhelm's knowledge and power would be more powerful, so she offered to move the Deerhelm to the Moonlit Glade, and Ysera agreed.

Unbeknownst to her, however, Alysla had already betrayed the Green Dragons and become Ragnaros's minions. She takes Vandal directly to Twilight's Hammer's territory, and the cultists originally wanted to restore the Deerhelm's physical and mental state first, but they didn't expect the Deerhelm to show an almost calm attitude. It turns out that Deer Helmet's grief over the loss of his beloved son and granddaughter has long been completely transformed into a flame of revenge, and with the blessing of Ragnaros's power, he was reborn as the first flame druid in history.

The grief of losing his son Wastann in the Battle of Quicksand, and the grief of losing his granddaughter in captivity, the two griefs combined to completely shatter the soul of Vandal Deerhelm. He was infused with power by Ragnaros and became the new administrator of the Flame Realm, as well as the leader of the Flame Druid Society, which defected from the Cenarion Council. Vandal would rather bury Azeroth with his own hands than live in a world where his dear son has been lost.

Of course, in the end, his results were not good, and he was crushed to death by the foot men.

It can be said that this is a tragic character, but whether he is a tragic hero or a tragic villain, in the realm of the Night Elves, he is just a general after all. With neither real power nor prestige, the meaning of the Night Elves sending such a person is already obvious.

Looking at Copperbeard, there are three children in the Copperbeard family, and these three brothers are Magni Copperbeard, Muradin, and Brian Copperbeard. The Elder Magni is the king of Ironforge and the current head of the Copperbeard Clan.

The second eldest Muradine Copperbeard, in the second war, was sent to Lordaeron as the ambassador of Ironforge, and later met Arthas in the Extreme North, so they converged, but because Arthas kept advising to pull up the sorrow of the frost, he was pierced by the bursting ice spikes, and in the end he was "killed", of course, in the end, this product still appeared, but now, for the dwarf kingdom Ironforge, Muradin is already a dead man.

Present here is the third eldest Brian Copperbeard, the youngest of the three Copperbeard brothers, the founder of the Explorers Guild, and one of the greatest explorers ever found on the continent of Azeroth. This passionate and brave dwarf has traveled almost the entire world of Azeroth for the cause of exploration that he loves.

Of all the "explored" worlds, Brian Copperbeard will always be famous and popular. This passionate and courageous dwarf has made many friends in almost every corner of the map. For the sake of his beloved Society of Explorers, Brian spent many years mapping the entire Eastern Kingdoms – including the most remote corners and hidden areas. His knowledge qualifies him to be the world's greatest explorer, anthropologist, archaeologist, taxonomist, linguist, and many more in Azeroth.

Brian is likewise an awesome fighter. During the Second War, Brian and Muradin were sent by their eldest brother, Magni, to fight with the Coalition forces led by Anduin Lothar, from Kazmodan all the way to the Blackstone Tower. During the war, he had the privilege of working with Lothar and talked to him about a deathmatch with the wizard Medivan. Their knowledge of the continent's terrain and their fighting skills are invaluable to the Alliance. After Lothar's death, the two brothers followed his lieutenant, Tulayan, to continue the fight, eventually destroying the Dark Gate.

It can be said that the three Copperbeard brothers are all, and they can be regarded as great, but what is the use of this? At such an important time, Magni, who was the highest and most suitable of the three brothers, did not come, but sent a Brian. What do you mean, look down on yourself?

Du Teng's smile became more and more enthusiastic, but those who knew him well knew that the anger in his heart was also becoming more and more surging. Especially when he saw Khadgar, the anger finally reached its extreme.
