615, Duten's counteroffensive

For the first time, the planet of Azeroth ushered in unprecedented peace. The Titans banished the chaotic elemental lords to another dimension and wiped out the Dark Empire once and for all, so that even the terrifying power of the Elder Gods could no longer stir up troubles - and despite all the hardships and dangers along the way, Azeroth was saved.

However, much remains to be done.

The Guardians were most worried about the terrible scars left by Almansur when he ripped Asharj off the surface. Unstable arcane energy poured out of this massive rift, washing over the entire world. The Guardians know that if left unchecked, sooner or later all of Azeroth will be swallowed up by these energies.

So, they worked day and night, creating numerous magical enchantments around the cracked wounds to stop the gushing lifeline. Thanks to their efforts, the surging energy finally calmed down and returned to balance, leaving only a vast lake full of energy, which the guardians named the "Well of Eternity". After that, this wonderful spring will moisten the haggard world, allowing life to take root and blossom throughout the planet.

Once the wound had been healed, the Guardians intended to make Azeroth's nascent Star Soul stronger and more resilient.

To this end, Azadas and Mimilon worked together to create the Forge of Will and the Forge of Origin. These two remarkable machines will work together to infuse the sleeping souls of Azeroth with cosmic energy. The Forge of Will will be set at the northern end of the world to shape the senses of the Star Soul; The Forge of Origin, on the other hand, will be located at the southern end of Azeroth to regulate the rhythms of the depths of the earth and strengthen the form of the Star Soul.

Once the two machines were built, the Guardians got to work.

Odin was personally responsible for placing the Forge of Will in a vast mountainous area to the north, known as the Storm Mountains. In view of Odin's heroic victory against the Elder Gods, the Pantheon appointed him as the Chief of Azeroth. The responsibility of guarding Yogsaron's prison and preserving the Forge of Will fell to Odin. He and the other Guardians sprang into action, building the magnificent fortress of Aldua as the Titan's main stronghold on Azeroth. The fortress encompasses not only the prison of Yogsaron, but also the Forge of Will and the machines built by other guardians.

The Forge of Will also serves another purpose: harnessing the life spirit of Azeroth to give form and consciousness to creatures made of rock and metal—not just giants, but a variety of other Titans. The new generation of Titan Creations will undoubtedly be the Guardians' right-hand man in establishing order in the world.

During this time, Raze discovered the remnants of the flesh of Ashaji, scattered throughout the southern tip of the world. When Almansur tore the Elder God away from Azeroth, its scattered flesh fell in all directions, still spreading evil across the land. The largest and most complete of them was the cold heart of Assha, a large mass of sick flesh steaming with void energy.

Rather than destroy it outright, Rai chose to build an underground palace to seal the heart and erase the evil it spreads. He – and the other Guardians – knew that studying the heart would help them better understand the nature of the Elder Gods and other void creatures. Rai sent his followers of Mogu to guard the Asha Polar Palace, as well as the surrounding land.

After this, he headed west, continued his exploration, and installed the Origin Forge on the continent beyond. When the great machine came to life, even the earth rumbled under Lai's feet. The Great Guardian soon sensed that the two machines were beginning to work together to deliver a steady stream of energy to the heart of the world. Later, Rai and his followers built a vast fortress along the Forge of Origins, Uldem, which served as the base of operations for the Guardians in the far south of the world.

Like the Forge of Will, the Forge of Origin has two functions. If the flora and fauna of Azeroth were to be overrun by corruption, this massive machine could unleash the vast amount of energy it contained, wiping out all life in the world in the hope of making the whole world start over.

The Great Guardian Rai assigned a group of Thornville and Anubisas to guard Audum for eternity, while he led the rest of his men to the northwest, the future Silisus. This barren and barren area is where the ancient god Cthun is imprisoned. Here, Lay and his assistants greatly expanded the prison, culminating in the fortified fortress of Angela. With all this done, the Great Guardian ordered the remaining Titan Creations to guard the fortress.

And Lay, who saw his work done, spent the years to come and go to the lands south of Azeroth, watching over his Titan's minions from afar to ensure that they remained true to their sacred duty.

Once the Twin Forge was settled, the Guardians began to reshape the surface of the world. To this end, they gathered all the new generation of Titan creations forged from the Forge of Will.

These Titans are loyal and powerful, and each of them has a different role to play in order or protection for Azeroth. The warm-hearted and rugged earth spirits will focus on the rolling mountains and deep landscapes, and devote themselves to carving them; The Clockwork Mechanical Gnomes, designed by Mimilon the Guardian, will help the Guardians build and maintain the major mechanical devices; The rock-made moguls are responsible for digging countless rivers for Azeroth. The responsibility for safeguarding the Guardians' many facilities falls to two major types of creatures: the steel-skinned Viku, and the intricately carved Tovel. In order to reshape the landscape, the Guardians have summoned the majestic Golems and Sea Giants who will travel across the vast territory of Azeroth, raising towering mountains and dredging the bottomless oceans.

While the Titans created Azeroth's form, the Guardian Freya went to plant organic life in the world. To this end, she has created a dimension filled with the magic of nature and souls—the Emerald Dream. This vast and ethereal plane exists as a mirror image of Azeroth, supporting the Guardians in managing the evolution of many flora and fauna. Souls and bizarre creatures call it home, frolicking day and night in this otherworldly paradise. And in this mystical dream, mortal cognition derived from the real world is no longer applicable, and concepts such as time and distance have no place in this ethereal realm. Even if you consciously spend decades in your dreams, the real world is only a day.

Since then, Freya has traveled around the world, searching for lands that connect to the energy of the Well of Eternity, which provide the ideal environment for the development of new plants and animals. She carved out vast natural valleys in these powerful lands, and then scattered the vast variety of primordial beings everywhere. Most of Freya's work was done at the far ends of the world, in what would become the Angolo Crater, the Hurasa Basin, and the Fairview Valley.

And the most powerful creatures that have spawned from these valleys are the colossal animals that are called the gods of the wilderness. Freya is very close to these noble creatures, and takes care of them as if they were her own children. As she travels through the real world, these wilderness gods are always by her side, with lush green trees and rolling grasses everywhere she looks. And the place where she and the gods of the wilderness are most often seen is a majestic verdant mountain, Hyjal.

It was in the mountains of Hyjal that Freya connected her beloved gods of the wilderness with the Emerald Dream. Having irrevocably connected to the void world, they have been able to symbolize the health and vitality of Azeroth. Since then, Hyjal has been a sanctuary for the gods of the wilderness.

And when Freya's creators set out to explore the world, they encounter a different group of life forms. These creatures were the original elements of Azeroth, and they involuntarily became what they are now: when the Guardians sealed the Elemental Plane, some of the elementals were not banished, and the anger of these elemental spirits subsided and they became flesh creatures. A considerable number of wild animals and plants, such as the Yuanlong, evolved from these elements of the past.

By the time the Guardians had finally led the crowd to quell all the turmoil in the main continent of Azeroth, a variety of vegetation and creatures would have spread throughout the continent. As twilight falls, the Titans overlook the world they have shaped, giving the continent its name: Kalimdor, the "Land of Eternal Starlight."

The Guardians have been satisfied, the sleeping Star Souls have been well cared for, and the Pantheon is ready to return to the Dark End to continue their search. The discovery of Azeroth undoubtedly proves that there may be other star spirits in the universe as well, which makes the Titans eager.

The Guardians were grieved by the loss of their Creator, but they were proud of their responsibility to defend Azeroth. In honor of the departed Pantheon, Lorcan and Mimilon created a series of artifacts to engrave the history of Azeroth, the Disc of Nogannon. And when the Pantheon returns to Azeroth, they will be able to use this artifact to know what happened after they left.

At the time of his departure, Almansur appointed a star dome as the world's extraterrestrial overseer, Agaron the Observer. The Titans did not ignore the possibility of the Star Soul being corrupted; If that time comes, Agalong will have the right to activate the Origin Forge to remove all life and corruption from the world.

The Pantheon then said its final goodbyes to the Titans and disappeared into the stars. They had done everything they could to heal Azeroth and ensure the maturity of the Star Soul; All that is needed now is to wait - and hope for the day when the Star Soul will finally awaken.

But who could have predicted that this beautiful world would suffer so many disasters in the countless epochs to come?

When Cthun invaded his spiritual energy into Du Teng's brain, he felt that he should be like Ai Chan, this kind of casual invasion and seemingly defenseless appearance was really unpleasant.

There are also these ancient gods in time, who think they are powerful and arrogant, and they really hate it once they see it.

Especially now, how long has it been? Du Ten himself had forgotten how long it had been since he had seen such a self-righteous creature. If you don't have any extra words, you just want to control your mind and will? It's really ridiculous, even if it is an ordinary powerhouse in this world, it may not be controlled by it, as for himself......

Du Teng sneered, and a touch of lilac energy suddenly rose around his eyes, and this energy was very little, only a shallow circle.

But the moment this circle of purple energy appeared, all the chaotic sounds in his head disappeared, and then, Du Teng suddenly raised his right hand and grabbed the air in front of him. The air that was originally nothing, but now it seems to have a substance, as if there is something hidden here.

"Human!"

Cthun's narrowed eyes suddenly widened, and it looked at Duten in disbelief.

"Old Gods...... Your name is Idiot, and you really think I'm going to come here unsuspecting? Cthun, you're too naïve, could it be that all these years of sealing life have made your brain useless? Or do you think of us as bedbugs that are defenseless? What a disappointment, I thought the Elder Gods were a terrible bunch of people who could surprise me, but now it seems ...... Tsk, you've disappointed me so much. ”

Du Teng sneered, his right hand squeezed suddenly, only to hear a soft bang in the void, as if something was broken, Cthun's huge body shook suddenly, and then the thousands of eyes stared at the same time in disbelief, looking at Du Teng in horror.

"Human, you, how could you ......"

"Crush your psychic energy, don't you? Cthun, don't you know that there is such a profession called a magician in the human world? Well, even if it's an elf, even if it's a dragon, they have magicians. With the psychic power of a magician, it would be too easy to fend off your invasion. As for pinching and blowing up your spiritual channel...... Well, it's just a small trick, so don't be too surprised. ”

Du Teng sneered and shook his right hand casually, as if there was something dirty on it.

Then he looked up at Cthun on the other side and reached out to tear the greatsword off his back, "Cthun, if you only have such a little ability, then I'm sorry...... By the way, have you ever heard the name Zakaz? He's become a part of my greatsword and my body, but he's too weak to meet my needs, and now, it's your turn......"
