614, Cthun's rage
"Human ...... You're so daring...... If you dare to trespass into my territory, aren't you afraid...... Shall I just kill you here? ”
A whisper rang out in Duten's mind, no doubt from Cthun.
"Scared? Why be afraid? ”
Du Teng snapped his ears and chuckled, "Is it like when you faced the Titans?" ”
On the opposite side, Cthun's thousands of eyes trembled at the same time, and countless tentacles began to swing wildly, and it roared angrily, stirring up wind and waves in Du Teng's spiritual world.
Because Du Teng really pierced the deepest pain in its heart.
At that time, it was still a long, long time ago, because of the fact that Azeroth had been corrupted by the ancient gods, Agrama brought the news back to the Pantheon, and persuaded the Titans of the Pantheon to come to the rescue of their newborn people.
Agrama also came up with a bold plan of attack: to send the entire Pantheon to Azeroth and cleanse the Dark Empire that entrenched the world. That being said, that doesn't mean they're going to take the initiative - the Titans are so large that Agrama fears that the slightest mistake will cause irreparable damage to the Star Soul and even take its life. To solve this problem, he proposes to create powerful constructs to act on their behalf, and completely eliminate the Dark Empire according to their wishes.
So, under the leadership of the great forger Kazgros, the Pantheon created an army of Azeroth: Ayhayel and Vanir. Fashioned of metal, Eshayel wields the power to command the storm; Vaniel, on the other hand, is made of rock, and the earth is at their rule.
These two were created by the original Titans.
And several of the servants were fortunate enough to be given their own appearance and power by the Titans of the Pantheon themselves to lead the rest of the Titans. These blessed creatures are the Guardians. Although they will eventually form their own personalities, they will also forever carry the form and abilities of the Creator.
Almansur bestowed a portion of his vast power on the Great Guardian Rai and the Guardian Odin. Kazgros bestowed his power over the earth and forged it to the Guardian Azadas. High Ganus bestowed the power of Guardian Solim and Guardian Hodir over the Storm and the Celestial Vault. Iona gave Freya the Guardian the power to command all the flora and fauna of Azeroth. Nogannon gave a portion of his wisdom and mastery of magic to the Guardian Lorcan and the Guardian Mimilon. In the end, Agrama bestowed his strength and courage on the Guardian Tyr, helping him become the most powerful warrior in the Titan's creation.
When this new army was formed from the surface of the earth, the Pantheon went to war - the time had come to crush the Dark Empire and free Azeroth from its clutches.
Led by the Guardians, the Titan Creations spearheaded the onslaught on the far north of the Dark Empire. The Pantheon's armies are tough and powerful, and they are unstoppable. They poured out the wrath of the gods, and swept away the armies of Ashaji's men and Aki, along with their temples.
The Elder Gods had never expected the arrival of the Titan's creation.
These metal and rock-skinned invaders have thrown them apart, but they have no intention of loosening their grip on Azeroth. In order to regain supremacy, the Elder Gods summoned their most powerful lieutenant, the Elemental Lord.
The enraged Elemental Lord then led his crowd from all directions, encircling the Titan creations. The Guardians didn't expect to be attacked by an army of elementals, but they quickly held their ground and decided to defeat each of these opponents one by one. They immediately divided the army and went to each other to face one of the elemental lords.
Tyr and Odin volunteered to take on the most powerful elemental lord, the Firedemon Ragnaros. The two sides fought fiercely for dozens of days and nights, and even the earth was swallowed up by flames and magma. However, the sturdy metal bodies of the Guardians made Ragnaros' incomparably hot offensive powerless. With sheer strength and strong will, Tyr and Odin pushed Ragnaros into retreat, advancing all the way to the firefiend's volcanic lair to the east. In this raging and boiling sea of acid, and even the canopy of heaven was covered in ashes, the two guardians finally defeated the fire demon completely.
Meanwhile, Azadas and Freya poured out their power on the Stone Mother Serrazane. Out of protection for herself and her men, the Elemental Monarch withdrew from the towering stone tower she called home. Azadas ordered his minions of the land to weaken the foundations of the walled city, crushing the rugged giants who stood by him. Freya then caused the earth to grow huge rhizomes, tangle the entire fortress. They marched hard among the rocks and crystals, tearing down the walls of the walled city, and pouring all their strength on the head of Therazanne himself.
The battle between Lay, Solim and Hodir is directed at the god of wind, Olakyr. They commanded the firmaments and the storm to drive the Elemental Lord back to his lair on the highest peak in Azeroth, and when Orakir resisted, even the canopy burned with a roaring thunderbolt. In the end, the three Guardians returned the favor and defeated Olakir in the air.
Tidehunter Neptulon did his best to support the other trapped Elemental Lords, but was ambushed by Lorcan and Mimilon halfway through. The two Guardians used their wits to thwart Neptulon's tactics and harassed his troops. Eventually, Lorcan poured out arcane power, freezing and shattering the water elementals, and Mimilon created an enchanted shackle to imprison the Neptulon himself.
The Elemental Lords were defeated, but the Guardians knew they could not destroy their existence once and for all—the Elemental Spirits were bound to Azeroth itself. Even if they are destroyed, their physical form will reappear sooner or later.
Lay quickly found a solution. He immediately set about imprisoning the elements, much as Sargeras had done when he imprisoned demons. Rai first enlisted Hela, a gifted Titan Creator Witch, and together the two created four interconnected realms, which together reside in an isolated dimension, which later became the Elemental Plane. Rai and Hyarya then banished the Elemental Lords and almost all of their minions into the prison realm.
Ragnaros and the Fire Elemental were banished to a smoldering corner of the Elemental Plane, the Realm of Fire; Thrazan and the earth elemental are locked in the crystal caverns of the Deepest Source; Orakir and the Wind Elemental are imprisoned in the Sky Wall's Towers among the Clouds. In the end, Neptulon and the water elemental were sucked into the bottomless abyss of the Abyssal Throat. The surface of Azeroth has since been dependent on only a handful of the elements, and without its leadership, these creatures are scattered and unable to make waves.
Once the elements were disposed of, the Guardians turned their energies to the Dark Empire's Yaki Legion, most of which inhabited the vast caverns that meandered beneath the devastated world. Azadas ordered Earthstone to obey his will, causing the crypt where Yaki was to collapse, forcing the creatures to the ground - and when they finally escaped the lair, they found themselves surrounded by Titan creations.
The battle between the Titans and Yaki was undoubtedly victorious.
At that time, the Guardians had destroyed most of the sub-kie, and only a handful of Zerg who lived deep underground escaped the wrath of the Guardians, but they could no longer fight back strongly.
While the Guardians were on their toes with the back-to-back battles against Yaki and the Elementals, they knew that more brutal battles were yet to come. They regrouped and pointed the finger of justice at the henchman of the Dark Empire, the ancient god Ashaji, and the countless holy cities of Bonda that sprang up around them. The Guardians are confident that they will be able to sweep away their foes by toppling the largest fortress of Ashyth on Azeroth.
The Guardians led the crowd over the swarming Nrakhi, struggling to march towards the mountain-like form of Ashaji. By the time they captured the Holy City and attacked the Elder Gods themselves, the Titan Creations and the scattered bodies of the Elder Gods had already submerged the mountains, lakes and rivers.
However, Ashaji was far more powerful than the Guardians had imagined, and the spirit of the Titan's creations was poisoned by it, and then fear, and no hope was seen.
The Pantheon was also concerned that their minions would fall into the clutches of the Elder Gods, so they put aside the danger they might cause to the world for the time being and took more direct action. Almansur himself broke through the stormy sky of Azeroth, holding the churning and wriggling body of the Elder God firmly with one hand. In an instant, he wrenched his strong arms and tore the Elder God out of the world's surface in one fell swoop. The vast mass of Asha fell apart in an instant, and the immense mass scattered in all directions, shattering countless mountains in an instant, and even the hundreds of Titan creations that were located in them at the time were inevitably wiped out.
Ashaji may have died, but its tendrils went far deeper into Azeroth than Almansur had imagined. Even if the Elder God had been exterminated, he would have tore a wound in the surface of Azeroth forever. Unstable arcane energy—the lifeblood of the Nascent Titans—erupted from the scar and flowed through the world.
This sudden turn of events terrified the Pantheon, and it did not dare to risk killing another ancient god in the same way. These malignant creatures have taken root too deep in the world to uproot them and destroy even Azeroth.
The Titans knew that the only way to do that was to imprison the Elder Gods where they were, and seal away the evil they had spent. It's a daunting task, but with the help of the Guardians, there's always something to be done. So, at the request of the Pantheon, the Titan creators prepared to set out to wipe out the remnants of the Dark Empire.
They had to fight the remaining Elder Gods one by one, and when the creatures weakened, Azadas would create a cell beneath the ground and imprison them, and Mimilon would create a massive mechanism to lock the Elder Gods inside. Once this is done, Lorcan will cast a powerful spell on the prison to ensure that all the evil spread by the Elder Gods is erased.
Once the plan was finalized, the Titans put the campaign into action. In one fell swoop, they fought their way to the fortress of Enzos in the southeast, and the flames of war stretched across the continent. After subduing the Elder Gods, the Guardians used their power to imprison him underground.
Then, the Titans headed southwest, heading for the Holy City, where the third ancient god, Cthun, sprawled endlessly. The Guardians led the horde to punish the influx of enemies, and then attacked the Elder God himself, conquering it. As if they had imprisoned Enzos, the Guardians sealed the Elder God underground and created a prison based on his form.
At this time, the last remaining Elder God was the vicious and sinister Yugsaron, who was quite difficult to deal with. And as the Titans gradually encircled the shattered fortress of Yugsaron in the north, the Elder God unleashed its most powerful general: Kseraki.
The gigantic Kseraki was full of war wherever he went, and his physique and stoic strength were far beyond the reach of ordinary Old Gods. They are powerful and ruthless, and in the face of the dark energies and curses they drive, even Titans cannot help but fall into madness.
The appearance of these tentacled behemoths drove the remnants of the Dark Empire into madness. They flocked to the Titan Creations in all directions, weakening their armies one after another, and by the time the Guardians confronted Yogsaron, the Titan Creation's army had already been decimated. They found themselves powerless to defeat the ancient god, and had it not been for Odin's heroic efforts, they feared that Yogsaron would have wiped out the Titan's army.
Despite being battered by the Great War, Odin mustered up the last of his strength, inspiring the Titans to strike back again. He instructed Lorcan to weave a grand illusion that would cause Xseraki to regard each other—and even Yogsaron—as enemies. And when the armies of the Dark Empire were killing each other, Odin took advantage of the situation and wiped out all the unknown opponents. The rest of the Titan creations followed suit under his command, and finally succeeded in subduing Yogsaron. As with Cthun and Enzos, the Guardians buried the presence of the Elder Gods in the ground, locked in a heavy enchanted prison.
At this point, the remaining three ancient gods have all been sealed, and Cthun is one of them.
The power of the Titans, and the bravery of their creations, were still fresh in its memory, and even after millennia, it still remembered the moment it was defeated.
So when Du Ten mentioned all this in front of him, Cthun only had anger and fear in his heart, so he couldn't wait, wanting to use his spiritual ability to completely destroy the weak human in front of him.
