So who is Cha Wenbin? It starts with the Taoism of our country:

The Taoism that is now circulating is mainly composed of three schools, namely Zhengyi, Quanzhen Dao, and Miao Zhen Dao.

Among them, there is a very famous Taoist sect called Maoshan sect that we often see or see on TV, and they are also called Maoshan Taoist priests.

This Maoshan sect does have some history, and the Maoshan sect is one of the Taoist sects. In the Southern Dynasty Qi, Liang Yu Taoist Tao Hongjing created. Because of the building of the museum in Maoshan to cultivate the road, respect the three Mao Zhenjun as the ancestor, so it is called the Maoshan faction, this school mainly cultivates the scriptures such as Shangqing, Lingbao and the Three Emperors, and worships the Yuan Shi Tianwang, Taishang Dao Jun, Taiwei Tiandi Jun, Housheng Jinque Emperor, Taishang Laojun, etc. as the highest gods, advocating thinking about God, chanting scriptures, cultivating merits, and cultivating Bigu, guiding and Zhaijiao.

In the Northern Song Dynasty, the Maoshan faction, along with Longhu Mountain and Hesoo Mountain, were the three major Taoist schools, known as the Three Mountains Fu. After the Yuan Dynasty, it was merged into the Zhengyi faction, which is now Zhengyi!

The chief founder of the Maoshan faction is Tao Hongjing, and later passed it to the Tibetan master, and this Tibetan master later once accepted a lay disciple named Ling Zhengyang, and taught him a lot of Taoist methods, and then was driven down the mountain for some reason, Ling Zhengyang devoted his life to cultivation, and founded this sect that originated in Maoshan: Tianzheng Dao, but the rules are passed down from generation to generation, and it has been very low-key, and it has been passed down to Cha Wenbin's generation is already the twenty-seventh generation, because of historical reasons, so there are many things that have not been handed down. Cha Wenbin's master gave him some Taoist secret methods and books, as well as the Great Seal of the Head of the Heavenly Righteous Dao and the Seven-Star Sword, and left the West.

It is said that this big seal and sword were cultivated by Master Zangjin and given to Ling Zhengyang, who was driven down the mountain, and then passed on from generation to generation, and became the head token of the righteous path of the sky.

During the Cultural Revolution, the four olds were broken, Wen Bin's master was naturally a superstitious person who belonged to the stinky old nine, and was starved to death after being locked in the cowshed, Wen Bin's father at that time was herding cattle, looking at him pitiful, he stole some sweet potatoes and steamed buns to fill his hunger, and did not want to be discovered by the people in the production team, so he was charged with fornicating with the stinky old nine, and grabbed the street criticism, I heard that Wen Bin's father had just died and did not admit his guilt, and was beaten to death, and his daughter-in-law couldn't stand the rumors and rumors and followed him, leaving Cha Wenbin alone, who was still young. After the old Tao was released, he accepted him as an apprentice, Wen Bin has very high qualifications, not a few years, has already achieved something, I don't want the master to die early, a lot of things have not had time to teach, leaving only a bunch of manuscripts that survived in the flames of the Cultural Revolution and hidden in the cowshed to keep an eye on the big seal, sword, Wen Bin usually takes these things and studies them privately, and does not dare to show the table, so there are many links that are still in a state of ignorance.

As for the orthodox Tianyi sect of Maoshan Sect, great changes also occurred later......

The folk regard Maoshan as a holy mountain to worship, and Maoshan for Taoist priests and warlocks as a holy place for seeking the law. It's strange to say, just when the whole people are "I'm crazy". In the surrounding area of Maoshan, to be precise, there is a Wumen in the south of Maoshan that also calls itself "Maoshan", which is also written as "Maoshan", "Yushan" or "Maoshan" in the folk, and they believe in the great god of Taoism, Taishang Laojun. The patriarch of the Kai faction is Li Laojun, who is respected as the "Master of Maoshan", also known as "Baizi Laojun". If you have studied some Fa, you may know that there is a famous "Zhao Hou Holy Master" in the Famen, and some are written as "Zhao Hou General", this Zhao Hou is the son-in-law of our "Maoshan Law Master" in folk legends!

The spells taught by this sect generally follow the regular route, such as stopping bleeding, leveling sores, painting sheep, heron water, retreating, etc., most of which are similar to ordinary methods. But the difference is some so-called "evil arts", such as "Jade Girl Joy God" is a kind of dream spell, as well as the method of "cutting off children and grandchildren", "beautiful women stripping", and the often mentioned "soul transfer and shadow change" is this method. In addition, attracting wild beasts and snakes in the mountains to rule people is also secretly circulated in this method. I would also like to talk about the so-called "raising little ghosts" in particular. Hong Kong films often mention some people who take corpse oil, refine corpses and raise ghosts. There is a lack of similar spells in Maoshan, but it is completely different from the one introduced in the film and television.
