Although the number of possible zombies, the terrain, the reactions of the main inhabitants, etc., will vary from zombie attack to zombie attack. The intensity level can still be divided into 4 separate levels.
Level 1
This is a low-grade type of outbreak that often occurs in third world countries or rural areas of the first world. The typical number of zombies in this level of outbreak ranges from 1 to 20.Total casualties (including those infected) range from 1 to 50.Total duration, from the first incident to the last (known), roughly in the range of 24 hours to 14 days. The sprawl area will be smaller, no more than 20 miles within a radius. In many cases, natural boundaries will determine the extent of this (rivers, mountains, etc.) and the repercussions will be small, whether from the public or law enforcement agencies. The reaction of the media will be slight or even not pay attention to the matter at all. Even if there is a media report, it will always be classified as a murder or an "accident." This is the most common outbreak and the most overlooked.
Level 2
Urban or rural areas with high residential density are included in the outbreaks of this level. The total number of zombies will be 20 to 100.The total number of casualties will be in the hundreds. The duration of a Level 2 attack will not be much higher than that of Level 1.In some events, a larger number of zombies will cause a more sudden-level situation. An outbreak in a sparsely populated village may spread within a radius of hundreds of miles, while an outbreak in a city may only affect a few blocks. The crackdown will proceed smoothly.Teams of civilians will be replaced by local, state, or even national law enforcement forces.Additional, low-level military support may be requested, such as the US National Guard or other combat equivalent to it. In most cases, as in a low-intensity riot, these units will act as non-combatants, providing medical assistance, crowd guidance, and logistical support. Level 2 riots almost always attract public attention. Unless the attack took place in an isolated corner of the world, or the media is under intense surveillance. Events will be reported, but not necessarily truthfully.
Level 3
A true crisis, the outbreak of Level 3, more clearly than any other event, shows the world the great threat that the living dead can pose. The number of zombies will be in the thousands, wreaking havoc in a radius of hundreds of miles. The duration of the attack combined with the lengthy sweeping work can be months. There is no possibility that an event of this magnitude can be successfully blocked by any means of control. Even if they don't attract the attention of the media, an attack of a huge scale will generate too many witnesses. It was a full-scale war with the participation of regular military units. A state of emergency will be declared in and around the contagion area. It is foreseeable that martial law, traffic controls, rationing, federalized services, and strict communication surveillance will be implemented. But all these measures will take time to implement. Until the rulers begin to deal with the crisis, the initial situation will be chaotic. Riots, looting, and widespread panic can be a major nuisance for them, further delaying the implementation of effective countermeasures. Once this happens, those living in the spreading territory will be at the mercy of the undead. Isolated, abandoned, and surrounded by ghouls, they struggle to survive on their own.

Pre-investigation
Every outbreak of the undead, regardless of its rank, has a beginning. Now that our enemy has been figured out, the next step is early warning. Just knowing what a zombie is won't help you realize that an outbreak is happening before it's too late. This doesn't mean you have to build a "zombie field command post" in your basement, pin a pin to the map, and bury your head in the shortwave radio. All that is needed for the whole stage is to find signs that may be made by those brainless guys. These signs include:
1. Homicide cases in which the victim is headshot or beheaded. This has happened many times: some people are aware of what kind of outbreak is happening and try to deal with it with their own means. Almost every time, these people are prosecuted for murder by local authorities.
2. Cases of disappearance, especially in the wild or uninhabited places. It is important to be more cautious when one or more people go missing in search of them. If the incident is reported on television or in the newspapers, check what class of weapons the search and rescue team is carrying. Any one or more rifles in the team must be considered an extraordinary rescue operation.
3. Cases of "insanity violence" in which a friend or family member is attacked without using a weapon. Find out if the attacker has bitten or tried to bite his victim. If so, are any of the victims still in hospital? Find out if these victims died mysteriously in a few days because of the bite.
4. Riots and civil commotions for no reason or without reasonable cause. Common sense tells us that no team-level riot can occur without any incentives such as inter-ethnic tensions, political behavior, or law enforcement. Perhaps the so-called "group unconscious" can also be seen as the cause. If none of them can be found, the official answer may be hidden somewhere.
5. Fatal illness whose cause has not yet been determined or which seems extremely suspicious. Most deaths from infectious diseases in the industrialized world are rarer than they were centuries ago. For this reason, new outbreaks always attract the attention of the news. Look for cases of diseases whose exact cause cannot be explained. Again, be wary of dubious explanations such as West Nile virus or "mad cow" disease. These can be used as examples of smoke bombs.
6. Any media intervention mentioned above is prohibited by law. Regulation of the press in the true sense of the word is very rare in the United States. Therefore, any such incident should be regarded as "the red flag has been raised", and of course, there will be other reasons that are not the living dead. But then again, any move that causes the government to put pressure on the media, or on our own, should be taken seriously enough. In fact, whatever that is, it's definitely not a good thing.
Once an incident catches your attention, try to figure it out. Pay attention to where it happened and how close it is to your location. Pay attention to those similar cases that occur near or on the periphery of the place of origin. If, within a few days to a week, these events occur, study them carefully. Pay attention to the response of government agencies and law enforcement agencies. If they are both acting quite violently during the process, then there is a possibility that an outbreak is taking place in the shadows.
Weapons & Combat Techniques
They have at least fifteen to twenty people: men, women, children. We opened fire when the distance was reduced to 70, maybe 80 meters . I could see pieces of meat splashing off their bodies. Our bullets hit them! They keep approaching, they keep approaching! I saw one of them hit me with my BXP, and I knew I had blasted its spine off because the "man" was bent over like a leaf. But its legs are still moving, and it's still chasing after me! Only 20 meters away, we started Vector*, useless! I saw fragments of organs and broken bones flying from their backs. I saw limbs being sawn off my body as if literally. The SS77 was the best machine gun ever produced, with a velocity of 840 meters per second and a rate of fire of 800 rounds per minute, but it had no effect! The grenades we threw brought down only one of them, only one! Its torn body was still biting its head as it fell motionless to the ground! [Anonymous] fired his RPG, and the damn rocket went straight through its soft target, blasting the rocks behind it open! In the end, with only 5 meters left, we spewed out the last bit of fuel with a flamethrower! Those [please use the software legally] lit up like torches without stopping at all! One of them grabbed [ANONYMOUS] and set him on fire as they bit him by the neck. I saw the rest of them surround him, like a bonfire we had lit in the forest, and the burning bodies leaned down and began to tear at the human torch beside them. If we can't bless our God and the damned Mother of the Devil, what are we going to do!?

Choosing the right weapon (never just one) is enough to make the difference between turning into a dead zombie or continuing to be yourself. When it comes to fighting the undead, it's easy to believe in Super Forces' tactics - load up the heaviest and most powerful weapons and rush out to "kickass". Zombies are not camp guards that appear in prisoner of war escape movies, and they can be dealt with in the most dramatic way. All you need to arm yourself as a zombie defender is, in fact, careful thinking, a cool head, and the ability to stand the test of action.
Basic Rules:
1. Obey the Law!: The rules and regulations governing weapons such as firearms or explosives depend on where you live. Strictly abide by them. The punishment may be a large fine or imprisonment. But either way, the criminal record that results from it is not something you can afford! Once a crisis strikes, the law will either be implemented as a model citizen you can trust and don't need special attention; Either you are seen as a possible criminal with a suspicious background who should be tried first when something happens. Luckily, as this chapter teaches, simple, legal weapons are better suited to your needs than paramilitary killing machines.
2. Keep training: No matter what weapon you choose, from a simple Malay machete to a semi-automatic rifle, it must be an extension of your body. Train as often as possible. If you are able to attend classes, do everything possible to apply. Learning from a qualified coach can save a lot of time and effort. If the whole device can be disassembled, do so, practice it in the sun and in complete darkness until you can remember every pin, every spring, every curve, and every edge of this incomparably important weapon. Practice is not only experience, but also confidence, and these are the two things you must do to win the battle against the living dead. History has proven that well-trained individuals who have nothing but a stone have a higher chance of surviving than a novice who has mastered the most advanced technological marvels.
3. Be careful with your tools: Weapons, no matter how simple they may be, must be treated with the same care as if they were living creatures. Anyone with experience with firearms knows that inspection and cleaning are an integral part of daily use. This also applies to melee weapons. Swords need to be sharpened and rust resistant to maintenance. The handles need to be checked and maintained from time to time. Never misuse your weapons or expose them to unnecessary damage. If possible, ask an experienced professional to inspect it periodically. These experts may be able to detect early signs of damage that amateur users can't spot.
4. Be careful with your display items: Many companies sell replicas of weapons, such as swords and bows. Those are often just decorations. Always thoroughly check the props you use and make sure they are good enough for the application. Don't trust the merchant's propaganda thoroughly." The "Combat Grade" may simply mean that these props can withstand a few slashes in theatrical scenes or historical legends, but will be cut in two in a life-and-death fight. If you have the means, buy the same weapon and use it to the breaking limit. Only then can you be confident that you can trust them.
5. Carry out your strongest weapons: When treated carefully and well-trained, the human body is the best weapon on the planet. Americans are notorious in the world for their daily diet, lack of exercise, and unlimited dependence on the products of labor-saving technology, as described by the so-called "couchpotato" group of people. A more accurate term is "livestock": fat, lazy, tired, waiting to be eaten. The first important weapon, our body, is a biological tool that can and must be transformed from a prey to a predator. Follow a strict diet and regimen that best suits your physical condition (there are rules such as diet, therapy, or exercise). Check your condition thoroughly and monitor it continuously, no matter how trivial the possible problem may be. Even if your worst illness is allergies, treat them equally! Once you encounter a crisis situation, you must fully understand what your body is capable of! Learn and master at least one martial art. Make sure it's more about defending yourself than on defeating enemies. In close-quarters combat, you'll find that knowing how to dodge zombie attacks will be the best skill you can get...
Close combat
Hand-to-hand combat should be avoided as much as possible. Given the slow speed of zombies, it's much easier to run (or walk quickly) away from them than to stop and fight. However, there will be times when you will have to take out the closest zombie, and this moment of action will be crucial, a wrong move, a moment of hesitation, and then you will feel the cold palms grasp your arms, and the sharp and broken teeth bite into your flesh. For these reasons, it is especially important to choose the right melee weapon in this situation.
1. Blunt instrument
When using a blunt weapon, your first goal is to smash the brain (remember, the only effective way to destroy a zombie is to destroy its brain). The human skull is the hardest and strongest part of his body that he is born with. So, again, it's the strongest part of a zombie's body.
It takes a lot of force to break a bone, let alone break it. However, you have to do it, and often only have one chance to achieve an effective attack. If you miss your target or fail to break it once, a second chance is almost non-existent.
Sticks, axe handles, or other wooden sticks can be effective at knocking zombies out of their way, or stopping individual zombies from attacking. But they lack the hardness and strength to be deadly.
A length of lead pipe is large enough for an encounter with a single zombie, but it's not heavy enough to carry on long journeys. A sledgehammer has the same drawbacks, and in order to accurately hit moving objects with it, a certain amount of training is essential.
The aluminum tube is light enough and can handle one or two fights, but continued use for longer periods of time will cause it to bend.
A standard carpenter's hammer has enough striking power but its effective range appears to be too short. The short handle also makes it possible for zombies to grab your arm and pull you closer.
Acetate plastic (most kinds of materials) batons have the strength to handle any battle, but lack the lethal power to make a final decision. (Note: that's how it's designed.)
The best blunt tool is a steel crowbar. It's relatively lighter, and the material is strong enough for long melee combat. Its curved, semi-abrasive tip can also be used as a means of stabbing the eye sockets, giving you the opportunity to directly attack the zombie's brain. More than one survivor has reported successfully killing zombies in this way. Another function of the crowbar is to forcibly open a locked door when necessary, to move heavy objects, or to complete the function for which the tool was designed. None of the previously mentioned props can perform these functions. Lighter and stronger than steel, it is made of titanium and is now sold in all Western stores from Western Europe to the former Soviet Union.
2. Sharp weapons
Swords, in various situations, they are good and bad compared to blunt instruments. A blunt instrument with enough force to break the skull often won't hold up the next time after use. In light of this, chopping, especially decapitation, is equivalent to effectively breaking the head. (Note: severed zombie heads can still be bitten, so be sure to consider them a threat.)
Slashing has the advantage over blunt strikes in that it can eliminate its threat with a simpler means than lethal. Sometimes, all I need to do is smash its forelimbs or spine to nullify a zombie's ability to attack. (Note: Wounds from heavy damage to the forelimbs of zombies may cause the virus to spread through the wound.)
Civilian axes can easily slash into the skulls of zombies, and a single blow pierces through the skull. It's just as easy to decapitate, which is why the axe is seen as the best weapon for executioners. However, hitting a moving head is not easy. And, once this slash is completely missed, you may lose your balance.
A smaller, one-handed hatchet is the best last resort. Once you realize that you've been cornered and that larger weapons aren't useful, striking with a hatchet is the best answer for your attackers.
Swords are ideal blades, but not every one is suitable. Blunt-headed swords, rapiers, and similar fencing swords are not suitable for slashing. Their only use is to insert them into the zombie's eye socket accurately and then destroy the brain with one effective twist. However, this action is not very easy to perform even by a skilled fencer, so it is not recommended.
A one-handed sword allows you to free up a hand for other tasks, such as opening doors, or equipping a shield to protect yourself. The only drawback is the lack of slash power. One arm may not have enough strength to split the cartilage between the joints. Another disadvantage is that this stance reduces the accuracy of the attack. It's one thing to leave a random wound on a living person, it's another thing to cut off the neck accurately.
A two-handed sword is probably the best choice for a weapon of this level, as it provides the power and accuracy needed for decapitation. Among them, the Japanese katana is the most recommended. ITS WEIGHT (FOUR TO FIVE POUNDS, ABOUT 1.8 KG TO 2.4 KG) IS PERFECT FOR LONG FIGHTS, AND ITS BLADE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO CUT THROUGH EVEN THE STRONGEST LIVING TISSUES.
Due to their smaller size, the short sword also has its own advantages. The Ancient Roman Short Sword was a viable option, although combat-grade replicas were not easy to find.
The Japanese small handle [a small knife about 6 inches (about 18 cm) long, rarely used in combat, generally used to sharpen things and cut threads, and exists as an accessory for Japanese knives], can be held in both hands, the classic blade design, and the famous mixed steel texture, these elements work together to make it a super good weapon.
Traditional Malay machetes, due to their size, weight, and practicality, may be your best bet. If possible, go to the military supply store and buy a military one. It uses better steel and a matte blade that hides better in the dark.
3. The rest are armed with cold weapons
Stabbing weapons such as guns (not firearms), spears, and tridents can be used to hold zombies out of reach, but they are not effective at killing. The chance of piercing the eye socket is there, but too low. Medieval European halberds (a combination of spear and axe) can provide the same effect as chopping weapons, but still require sufficient skill and training to effectively chop off zombie heads. Whether used as a blunt weapon or to immobilize the attacker at a distance, these weapons are not actually effective enough.
The Meteor Hammer, also known as the "Flail", is a weapon consisting of a pointed orb and a short rod chained together, and its damage effect is almost the same as that of a crowbar, although it is cooler to use. The user swings the bat in a circular trajectory to drive the Thorn Ball, giving the ball enough momentum to shatter the skull of his or her enemies. However, using this weapon requires too much skill and is not recommended.
Medieval scepters are comparable in attack to domestic hammers [i.e., the ones with pointed spikes], but lack the latter's real-life functionality. The scepter cannot be used to pry open doors and windows, cut gaps, or drive nails. Forcing such actions can instead lead to unnecessary trauma. Therefore, this type of medieval weapon should only be considered when you don't have a choice.
Knives are always useful and provide full utility in a wide variety of situations. However, unlike axes, they are only effective in killing zombies when the blade penetrates the temples, eye sockets, mouth, or cranial cavity.
In addition to their attack power, knives are usually lighter than axes, so they are better to carry on long walks, making sure the knives on the belt are no more than 6 inches long and sharp. Avoid survival knives with serrations or cut-on-edge saws, although they have value in the right situations. Imagine you're sticking a knife into a zombie's temple, then you turn around and see more zombies approaching, and then you can't pull the knife out...
The trench spur, without a doubt, is undoubtedly the finest anti-zombie weapon on the planet. It consists of a 7-inch long steel triangular nail blade and a brass knob. It was a weapon designed for the brutal hand-to-hand combat of World War I, where soldiers fought each other in trenches less than a few feet wide. In particular, it is designed specifically to chisel down through steel helmets. You can imagine how appropriate this weapon would be to use against zombies. The user can easily pierce the zombie's skull, pull it out smoothly and quickly, and then poke out the brains of other zombies in the same way, or, in rare cases, smash a zombie's face with a finger handle. The original is quite rare and hard to find, and only a few pieces can be found in museums and private collections. However, as long as you can get your hands on a design drawing that's accurate enough, try to get your hands on one or two production-quality replicas. You will never regret this investment.
