The main front-line fighter of the Soviet Air Force (refers to the fighter that can adapt to the poor conditions of field airfields, generally simple in configuration and relatively low in cost), entered service in 1983. It adopts the layout of the wing body lift body, with twin engines, single seats, double vertical tails, six weapon hardpoints, and the fuselage centerline hardpoint can carry auxiliary fuel tanks.
