Volume 1: The Highest Mandate of Heaven Chapter 50: Born of Desire (I)

The abbot didn't know. The reason why Chen Sheng was able to complete the first Zhou Tian transportation so quickly and smoothly was actually related to the fact that he had received the transformation of He's Bi.

Ordinary people have not practiced, even if a martial artist like Chen Sheng has reached the peak of foreign kung fu, the meridians in his body still seem to be a narrow and rugged dirt road in the remote countryside that has not been repaired. However, after He's Bi ability entered the body and was transformed, the meridians in Chen Sheng's body had already become a standard national highway at that time. The meridians are spacious and smooth, and the internal qi wanders in them, so there is no need to waste energy to renovate and develop, so it will naturally get twice the result with half the effort, and the cultivation will be extremely fast.

In addition, if the meridians of ordinary people are narrow, even if there is a strong internal force stored in the dantian, it cannot be fully released at once for attack or defense - because the meridians will not be able to withstand it. It's like an ordinary highway, and all of a sudden a heavy tank comes running. The road surface could not bear the weight of hundreds of tons, and of course it would have suffered serious damage. If the road is destroyed, it can be repaired, but if the meridians are damaged, they will become a waste at least and die on the spot, which is laughable. The preciousness of He's ability can be seen from this.

In "Smiling Proud Jianghu" and similar shijie, martial artists practice internal qi, and it is also best to practice from a young age. Because children's bodies have not yet grown, it is relatively easy to develop the meridians in the body. If you practice qi only after you reach adulthood, your body has fully developed, and the meridians in your body are gradually blocked, and then you have to reopen up, it is difficult to imagine.

Chen Sheng is twenty-eight years old this year, and he has long been an adult. According to common sense, at this age, you only start to practice internal strength, even if you have a sense of qi after a lot of hard work and can attract qi into the body, but the entry will be extremely slow. It is even possible that in the whole of his life, he will not necessarily achieve any major achievements. If it is said that true qi is like water, then his body filled with water is at most just a wooden barrel, and it is just a clay pot (the kind smashed by Sima Guang). But after the transformation of He's Bi, he immediately became a big lake. Every acupoint and every meridian in the body has been reborn into a treasure with unlimited development potential. Compared with the wooden barrel tank, how much more water can be stored?

The process of transforming the body of Heshi Bi is described by a special term in the martial arts, which is the so-called easy tendon cleansing. "Yijin Sutra" weishenme is the supreme secret book of Shaolin Temple? Because it has a miraculous effect on this kind of transformation of the body's meridians. Chen Sheng did not choose the Yijin Sutra as a practice method, which was actually correct. Because he no longer needs to use the "Yijin Sutra" to carry out Yijin purification.

The so-called washing of the marrow and the tendons is actually only to strengthen the ability of the meridians to load, so that the capacity of the true qi increases by multiples, or the speed of qi walking. To put it bluntly, it's actually quite simple. But that's easier said than done. Under normal circumstances, if a martial artist wants to complete the marrow cleansing, he must first go through a long period of hard work before he can achieve something. And now, because Chen Sheng got He's Bi, he completed the process in just a snap of his fingers, which is really a rare opportunity.

But having a chance doesn't mean that you can get it for nothing. He Shibi only broadened Chen Sheng's meridians, making his body more capable of storing more True Qi and being able to dispatch these True Qi more quickly. As for these true qi itself, it still needs to be accumulated by Chen Sheng himself bit by bit. There is no shortcut to this kind of water milling.

In other words, shortcuts are not absolutely absent, but those evil ways that are eager for quick success and quick profit are not the right way after all. Even if it seems beneficial in the short term, it is very harmful in the long run, so it is more practical to abandon those crooked thoughts, be down-to-earth, and start from the very basics.

Carrying Zhou Tian to cultivate true qi must be done step by step, and he can't come in a hurry. Because ordinary people's meridians are weak and unbearable, they cannot bear the power of development and expansion, so it is not only useless, but harmful. The abbot didn't know about Chen Sheng's previous adventures, so he only regarded it as an ordinary person. Seeing that he carried the Nine Great Zhou Days of True Qi in a row, this could be regarded as officially stepping into the threshold. After that, as long as you take a long time, sooner or later there will be a time to enter the house. Put away the volume of the Divine Foot Sutra at the moment, and let your newly accepted disciple go back to rest. At the same time, he also instructed him not to try to practice qi today, otherwise he would not be able to achieve it.

Although the warrior did not feel any hardship and fatigue, the master had some teachings, and of course it was impossible to fight against him in person. So he agreed, and then left the abbot's meditation room. But because of the excitement in his heart, the jīng power in his body was pervasive and there was nowhere to vent, so he went out to compete with lay disciples such as Huang Guobai, Xin Guoliang, and Yi Guozi. At dinner, they went back to their rooms.

Among Buddhism, there was originally a rule of not eating at noon. But after all, Shaolin Temple is the martial arts sect of the world. For the time being, lay disciples said that eight or nine out of ten monks in the temple are practicing martial arts. Practicing martial arts is very physically demanding. Unless he has reached the level of the abbot and the master of Fang Sheng, otherwise, if you only eat one meal a day, your body will definitely not be able to support you. Therefore, the vast majority of monks still have to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes, there is even a late-night snack,

As the abbot's close disciple, Chen Sheng has a very high rank and a unique status. Therefore, one and three meals are delivered by a small novice, but they don't have to go to the cafeteria to eat a big pot of rice like ordinary disciples. When he returned to his lodgings, little novice happened to bring food. There are four dishes in total, such as mushroom oil rotten bamboo shoots, stir-fried bean sprouts, mushroom curd skin, fungus mixed with cucumbers, etc., as well as pot japonica rice porridge. Buddhism does not pay attention to what the stomach is, but Shaolin Temple does not belong to the Vinaya, and does not take hard deeds as a priority, so these dishes of vegetarian food and fragrant porridge taste very delicious.

After Chen Sheng ate it, he was bored and couldn't help but take out the volume of "Divine Foot Sutra" again. On the scriptures, there are a total of 36 pictures, that is, a total of 36 yoga postures, 36 different practice routes, and he looked through the patterns one by one with an oil lamp, and the more he looked at it, the more excited he became. Usually a big man who was quite stable, but at this time he couldn't help it, and he became like a big kid who had just gotten some novelty toy.

After a long time, Chen Sheng's heart was always itching. Although the abbot of the evidence advises that "yù speed is not reached". But Chen Sheng himself has always believed in the famous saying of Edison, who has listened to the teacher's lessons in the classroom since he was a child: "Genius is one percent of talent, plus 99 percent of perspiration."

Of course, there seems to be half a sentence at the end, saying "But that one percent of talent is more important than ninety-nine percent of sweat." However, if there is no sweat, no matter how high the talent is, it is only potential, and the potential is the liliang that has not yet been explored, and it is of no practical use at all. So in the final analysis, we still have to work hard! Step up your game! Try harder! Since you feel good, you might as well try to practice more and more, as it is always beneficial.

Sit down and do what you think. Chen Sheng took off his shoes and socks, went to bed, spread out the book, and then re-assumed the yoga posture and began to practice the "yù samadhi breaking the line to achieve the divine foot sutra". The warmth that had just been conceived in his body was summoned again, and he was extremely flexible and commanded according to his thoughts, constantly moving between the meridians and acupoints. The more Chen Sheng practiced, the more he was interested, happy, and tireless.

Chen Sheng didn't know. Doing so by yourself is exactly in line with the gist of practicing this "yù samadhi sutra for the attainment of the divine foot". It is important to know that the name of the sutra is yù samadhi, and in fact, in these four words, the key to cultivation has been pointed out.

In the Buddhist view of shijie, shijie is divided into three levels: yù realm, sè realm, and no sè realm. Among them, the yù realm includes the six realms of heaven, man, asura, hungry ghosts, beasts, and hell. In the usual sense, it is the shijie that ordinary people live in. In this shijie, all sentient beings have seven emotions and six yù, and there is a particularly strong pursuit of yù hope.

This kind of yù hope, in Buddhism, is the so-called demon. The "Sutra of Samadhi Breaking Actions and Attaining the Divine Feet" is to use this strong desire to help practitioners to settle down from yù and enter the state of samadhi more easily and quickly. It is the supreme mind method of forging a Buddha with demons.

Chen Sheng's fanaticism for martial arts and his dedication to becoming invincible in the world are all things. With this kind of desire, to practice the "yù Samadhi Breaking Actions to Achieve the Divine Foot Sutra" happens to complement each other, as if made in heaven. In contrast, practicing the "Yijin Sutra" requires first seeing through my appearance, and must not have the idea of practicing martial arts and getting benefits from it, which is indeed not suitable for Chen Sheng's current state of mind.

During the day, I practiced for the first time under the guidance of the abbot of Fang Zheng, but it was still a little jerky. Now I practice again for the second time in private, but I am born once and twice matured. True Qi ran the Nine Great Heavens again, but it only took about two teas. Mind the sense, that true qi is lively in the body, if you want it to go east, you want it to go to the east, if you want it to go west, you can go west, whatever you want, there is no hindrance. Although it is still invisible or touched, it is indeed real in one's body, and it is as completely obedient to command as the limbs that are born with it, there is no doubt about it.

At this point, Chen Sheng knew that the first picture on the Divine Foot Sutra had been cultivated by himself, and there was no need to continue to practice. But looking at the sky outside, the time is still very early.

He couldn't get enough of it, and couldn't help but secretly say: Those postures and practice patterns in the back of the scriptures, I don't dare to try rashly at present. However, since the true qi in the body runs according to the line of the first diagram, and there is no obstacle, then it should be considered as practiced, right? This second picture must be more difficult than the first one, but after all, it is only the second picture, and the increase in difficulty is limited. While you still have time, why not try the pose and luck route of the second picture again?
