Volume 2: A Laugh in the Sea Chapter 54: Pulling Out the Thorns (I)
Chen Sheng, as a warrior with no internal strength, killed the master of Songfeng Guan, defeated the head of Mount Tai, and destroyed the Taibao of Songshan in "Smiling Proud Jianghu" Shijie. Personal genius is certainly an important factor, but Chen Sheng's ability to come this far is obviously inseparable from the fact that he has stood on the shoulders of countless giants in the new era since he was born.
In "Smiling Proud Jianghu" shijie, because the internal force of true qi does exist, most people in the martial arts will pay great attention to practicing internal strength. Even if the Huashan Sword Sect, which is known as "winning with a sword, not with internal strength", in fact, it will not ignore the true qi. In contrast, their understanding of the human body and exercise methods are far inferior to Chen Sheng's own shijie.
And now, Chen Sheng wrote down all the exercise methods he remembered in his heart, as well as how to transfer muscles without loss, how to meditate and borrow appearances, and other mental tricks, and bound them into a book, and presented them to the abbot of Fang Zheng. The old abbot had been tireless in his study of Buddhism, but he had never been haunted by anything. But when he read Chen Sheng's martial arts classic, he couldn't help but be shocked on the spot, and he was immediately amazed. After thinking about it again and again, the old abbot named this book "Shengwudian", and sent it to the second floor of the Shaolin Zangjing Pavilion, which was juxtaposed with the original seventy-two stunts of Shaolin.
And that's not all. The old abbot even ordered to open the basic physical training methods recorded in the "Shengwu Dian" to the whole temple. From now on, when Shaolin disciples practice foreign martial arts, they must follow the new method. Give up all the original training methods that are not scientific and reasonable.
The senior monks of all the square characters of Shaolin Temple, after collectively studying the "Shengwu Dian", also claimed to praise the wisdom of the old abbot's decision. Everyone unanimously agreed that as long as they continue to practice according to this new method, within ten years, the strength of Shaolin Temple will surely advance by leaps and bounds, and may even step into a point where no one has ever done before. Its status as a martial arts champion in the world, even if it is another thousand years, cannot be shaken.
As for Chen Sheng, the author of this "Shengwu Classic", he was also solemnly written into the memorabilia of the Shaolin Temple. Its status has been able to be juxtaposed with the eighth generation abbot of Shaolin Yuanyuan Master who created the seventy-two stunts, the six senior monks of the eleventh generation of Shaolin who created the Donkey Kong boxing method of the seventy-two stunts, and the seven-fingered head of the Maha Finger who created the seventy-two stunts.
Chen Sheng himself doesn't care about these false names. Although the "Shengwu Canon" was made public, when Ping Rì lived, the monks and lay disciples in the temple treated the warriors with a much more affection and reverence. The warrior only laughed at it. Nothing has changed whether you should do it or what you want to continue to do.
Chen Sheng's own martial arts are precious in the eyes of the monks of Shaolin Temple in "Smiling Proud Jianghu". On the other hand, the martial arts of Shijie in "Smiling Proud Jianghu" are not the same for Chen Sheng. From the establishment of the temple in the Northern and Southern Dynasties to the present millennium, the Shaolin Temple has been unparalleled in the world for the study of how to apply the internal force of true qi. Chen Sheng learned the "Divine Foot Sutra" and practiced his true qi. After learning the King Kong Zen lion roar, I know how to urge the true qi. But that's not enough. Martial artists also need to learn a lot of basic techniques for applying true qi.
For example, how to concentrate the true qi on the fists, palms, legs and feet when attacking to enhance the lethality. Further, how to infuse true qi into weapons. How to directly use the true qi to attack the meridians in the enemy's body, how to fight against the enemy's true qi, how to use the true qi to use light power, and how to use the true qi to point points to control the enemy, what kind of acupoints roughly have what kind of effect, and so on. These are all things that Chen Sheng needs to make up for them.
And so on, step by step, step by step. By the time the twenty-fourth diagram on the "Divine Foot Sutra" was successfully cultivated, before I knew it, six months had passed. And Chen Sheng has been in this "Smiling Proud Jianghu" shijie for a full 300 days. There are only about 60 days left until Zuihou's mission deadline. Now it's time to leave Shaomuro Mountain and head to Blackwood Cliff to prepare to capture the secret elixir of the Rì Moon Sect, the Three Corpse Brain Divine Pill and its antidote.
Early in the morning, Chen Sheng got up and washed up, packed all his luggage, and then went to see the abbot of Fang Zheng and asked for his resignation. This move was greatly unexpected by the old abbot. He frowned and asked, "Apprentice, you have only studied in Shaolin for half a year, even if it is indeed a rapid progress, but after all, the accumulation is still very shallow, why be in such a hurry, and now you have to leave Shaolin Mountain?" ”
After getting along for half a year, the abbot treated each other with sincerity and taught everywhere, which benefited Chen Sheng a lot. If it weren't for this master, even with the help of the He's Bi ability, it would be impossible for the martial artist to have already cultivated two-thirds of the Divine Foot Sutra in just six months. Therefore, at this moment, the abbot asked, and the warrior did not deceive each other, and replied respectfully: "Master, in fact, I also want to stay in Shaolin Temple for a while longer. Helpless...... My two sister-in-law and I have a big deal on our backs, and we have to do it. If we can't do it at this time, we will have to worry about our lives. So we've already made an appointment. In any case, it is necessary to go to the predetermined meeting point. Thank you for your understanding. ”
Abbot Fang Zheng nodded, then sighed slightly, and said, "Disciple, you once said before that you are a disciple of the Hongmen, right?" However, the division had already sent people to Fujian, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, and other coastal provinces to conduct a careful investigation. On the ground in these provinces, no one has ever heard of the name Hongmen in the world. Even before your three brothers and sisters entered Fuzhou City, no one had ever seen your appearance. But it's like...... All three of you siblings came out of a stone, and suddenly they appeared out of thin air. ”
Chen Sheng was slightly stunned, and then sighed and said, "The disciple is indeed a disciple of the Hongmen, this is true." As for the origins of our three siblings...... I beg your pardon. The stakes are high, and we really have problems that we can't clearly explain. ”
The abbot shook his head and said, "The reason why the teacher tracked down your background is not because I believe in you, but because I want to spy on your past privacy. It's just that whenever Shaolin accepts disciples, they must first trace their origins to prevent jiān disciples with ill intentions from mixing into Shaolin, and then rely on the martial arts they learned from Shaolin to do evil outside. The temple rules are like this, and this precedent cannot be broken from the hands of the teacher.
But since your debut, everything you have done has been a fair and chivalrous act. As a teacher, I carefully examine your heart, and I also know that although you are a little too brave and ruthless, you are by no means a bully. The big joints are even more determined, and they will not make mistakes after rì, and finally harm others and themselves. Hehe, since this is the case, then no matter what your background is, you are a good apprentice for the teacher.
Now that you're leaving...... Alas~ Then it must be that the fate of our master and apprentice has ended. Everything in the world is always born when it arises, and it dies when it is finished, and that is nothing. Amitabha. Then you go, son. ”
The abbot of Fang Zheng was so reasonable, which was much more than Chen Sheng expected. He was originally afraid that the abbot would not be able to understand, so he prepared a lot of rhetoric. But now it seems that all of these statements can be omitted. At that moment, the warrior knelt down on the futon, respectfully bowed three times, and said, "Master, the apprentice is going." ”
The abbot of Fang Zheng clasped his palms together and said: "All the laws are born because of fate, and the fate is also extinguished." My teacher is a great shaman, and he often says so. Slowly close your eyes. Chen Sheng stood up, bowed back and exited the meditation room, and gently closed the door.
After the warrior withdrew from the meditation room, he immediately walked around the temple again, and said goodbye to Huang Guobai, Xin Guoliang, Yi Guozi and other lay disciples who had made friends with him, as well as monks who knew each other such as Jueyue. Then solemnly bid farewell to Master Fang Sheng. Only then did he pick up the burden (all the important things on his body were placed in the private storage space, and there were only two sets of changes of clothes in the bag), and strode out of the gate of the Shaolin Temple.
When the people came, they rode on horses. However, the winding mountain road of Shaomu Mountain is not suitable for galloping. Therefore, everyone fostered their mounts in an inn in the county seat of Dengfeng County, and then hiked up the mountain. The distance to Blackwood Cliff is not close, and it is impossible to travel without horses.
Therefore, after Chen Sheng got out of the mountain gate, he circled down the mountain road, intending to go and get the horses back first. Although the Shaolin faction is not known for its light skills, at this moment Chen Sheng urged his true qi and took great strides to his heart's content, although he was between the mountains and forests, galloping on a horse on a peaceful ground, in fact, it was not too much different.
Half an hour later, the large-scale continuous temple of Shaolin Temple has been hidden between the green mountains and green waters. The slope of the mountain gradually turned flat. There is no need to deliberately listen attentively, the sound of gurgling water has been continuously transmitted to the ears from the front, but it is the Shaolin River that separates Shaomur Mountain and Taimur Mountain. As long as you go south along the river for two or three miles, it is the county seat of Dengfeng.
Walking down the mountain in one breath, Chen Sheng couldn't help but feel a little thirsty. There is no industrial pollution in these years, and the Shaolin River comes from the Songshan Mountain, and there are no people in the upper reaches, so the river water is clear and transparent, and it is absolutely natural and green. The warrior smiled slightly, slowed down, and walked towards the riverbank, wanting to take two sips to moisten his throat. Before he could take a few steps, suddenly, he heard someone chanting: "The water of the waves is clear, and you can wet my hair; The water of the waves is turbid, and you can wet my feet. ”
These two sentences of "Song of the Canglang" were used by the fishermen on the Canglang River to comfort Qu Yuan, the Sanlu doctor, during the Autumn and Warring States Period. Although the whole song is short, the meaning is profound and eternal, free and easy. Singing between the mountains and wilderness without people is also suitable for the scene. However, at this moment, the person who recited "Song of the Waves" had a cold and cold voice, and his tone was serious, and he was not at all free and easy, but it was as if someone else owed him millions of taels of silver and did not pay it back, which made people feel awkward. But at the same time, this man's voice shook the valley, and it was heard far and near. But he didn't deliberately open his throat and yell, he just talked like that. From this point of view alone, it shows that this person's internal strength is deep and extraordinary.
Chen Sheng's heart sank, but immediately, the heart in his chest beat rapidly because of excitement. The corners of his mouth were subconsciously, slightly provoked. Then he raised his head and looked around. But I saw a tall and thin yellow-robed guest sitting on a big stone not far from the upper reaches of the Shaolin River. He is well-dressed and elegant. But the waist is straight, and there is no leisure at all, but it makes people feel extremely restrained.
