Section A Chapter 3: Weapon Shop (Lusha)

"This is the shop, isn't it?" Lucina paused and looked at a weapons shop on the north side of Boer Avenue in the West Quarter.

The weapons shop looked like it hadn't been renovated in years, and the bearings on the iron doors were rusty. Lusha dismounts sideways, only to be cut naked by a sharp rock on the ground. The pain hit, and Lusa sat down on her knees trembling.

"Lusa, are you alright?" Lucina hurriedly turned.

"It's just a small injury. Throwing away the rubble, Lusha tried to get up. But the pain struck suddenly, and she sat down on the ground again.

Blood flowed slowly, and Lusha couldn't contain her shivering. The air was filled with the special smell of Aya's blood—like watermelon juice, apple juice mixed with Karré juice. Many humans use it as a curing medicine.

A cold touch came as Lucina leaned over, licking her bleeding wounds. The temperature in the mouth of the ghost warhorse is very low, which will make the wound much better.

Aiya can perceive about five times as much pain as humans, and her body tissues are far more fragile and destructive than other races. She should have been careful in everything she did, but Lusha often hurt herself—just like her werewolf daddy.

The intense pain soon ended. In less than three minutes, the wound healed at a speed visible to the naked eye. Finally calming down, Aya let out a long breath: the pain had left her mind blank, and she couldn't keep thinking at all.

"Hey...... Lusa should be more careful when she dismounts, you've hurt yourself many times. Moving her head away, her sister's tone was very helpless: "Can't you pay attention?"

"Will pay attention. Lusha lowered her head and looked around with a little embarrassment: "Sister, wait for me outside for a while." ”

"Okay, hurry up. Lucina flapped her wings and shifted slightly.

Standing up and walking towards the iron door, Aya took a closer look at it: the door was rusty, and it seemed that it had not been polished for more than ten years. Looking at it, Lusha couldn't help but wonder if it would work.

However, luckily, the door locks didn't rust as well. Instead, its cylinder appears to have just been lubricated the other day.

Maybe it's graphite, or maybe it's a lubricating stone from the snow...... Lusha thought. The pain of the bare foot has vanished, as if it never existed.

Putting the dumplings in her bag, Lusha knocked on the door three times rhythmically and opened the door.

The store is a large space, and directly opposite the door is a right-angled black wood counter. Several wooden cabinets surround the room. The boss was sitting behind the black wood counter, wiping a long sword.

Approaching the counter, the bearded man raised his eyes and lowered his weapon with a look of surprise.

"Oh, look at you dressed like a foreigner! The owner of the weapons shop tapped lightly on the table and looked at Lusha, "Hmm...... I'm afraid it's you, kid?"

Aya nodded, and pulled her hood down again with a little uneasiness.

"So, I guess you're not here to see the weapons, are you? The weapon shop owner had a broad gray beard, which was dotted with a little white like snowflakes.

Handing a piece of paper to his boss, Morse took it and squinted his eyes again to look at her, "Kid, I know what you're worried about...... However, in the land of Eternal Winter—nay, not even west to the White Mist Wastes, or east to the foot of the Dark Glacier, no one will trouble Aya. ”

Shaking her head, Lusara lowered her hood.

"Traveling here as Aya, I've really experienced a lot of things, right? The boss laughed and held out his hand: "Morse Norn." Just call me Morse. ”

"Rusa Emile. Lusha hesitated, then reached out to shake her hand. Morse's wide palm, as a human, completely wrapped the small hand of Lusa, who was born as Aya, in the palm of his hand.

"Lusa...... It's been a long time since I've seen Aya with white hair, and I can remember your etiquette. Before he could finish speaking, Morse stood up and touched Lusa's head. Lutha was slightly startled, but still didn't dodge.

"Where did Miss Rusa come from?" Morse looked at the list carefully, turning and walking towards a wooden cabinet. At the top of the cabinet is a striking set of armor. Its helmet was shaped by the armorsmith in the shape of an ice dragon's head, and the color of the entire suit was ice blue.

"It's inconvenient to disclose. Lusha looked at the glittering armor and thought of her father.

"Oh, yes, yes. Be careful when you go out, let alone as Aya. Morse, who had taken out a large bag of liquid bullets from a drawer in the cabinet, nodded in approval and placed the bag in front of the counter: "C-2 model liquid bullet five-barrel...... I don't know how to sell it elsewhere, in short, our tube is 20ML, and the price is 1 los per tube. ”

"Is it okay to use Eurasian currency?" asked Lusa, after a moment's hesitation.

"Ah, of course not...... You don't know, don't you? Our monetary system has survived. Morse looked a little surprised: "In the thirteenth world of our World Tree, Eternal Winter is the only country that has not been conquered for millions of years - not even the Eurasian Empire. They haven't even seen what our gates look like. ”

"...... so," Lusa suddenly felt frustrated: she seemed to have heard the legend of how an army sent by Eurasia was frozen in the frozen wasteland by the breath of the dragon god.

"I said, how did you spend the night yesterday, kid? until a moment you didn't seem to know that the Eurasian currency could not be used. Morse frowned and continued, "That's fine, I still need some time to prepare the things on your list. It just so happens that you can go to the bank to exchange some money. Do you have a map? yes, give it to me -- well, right here. ”

Morse circled a dot on the map with his pen and frowned, "These damn mappers! Outlanders are missing, but how many years ago is this map?"

Because this map was drawn by outsiders...... Lusha thought to herself. She's afraid she'll need to throw it away on the street anymore.

"Wait a minute...... There is still a bit of a problem. Morse tapped on the list in his hand: "Have you always used a firearm? I see you have four guns pinned to your waist and leg rings." ”

"Hmm. Lutha nodded, looking at the leg ring pinned to the top of her thigh, "Two steam pistols, two magic pistols." ”

"These things are probably only used by Aya and the paranoid dwarves. Morse shook his head helplessly: "The range is terrible, and the power is too weak to penetrate conventional metal armor." ...... Not to mention those who have been enchanted. Even if it hits the flesh, if it doesn't hit the eye socket, it will hardly solve the other party. Haven't you considered using a hand crossbow, kid? I've got one for little girls to control, and it's easy to wind and so on. ”

"No thanks. Lusha was a little frustrated: I definitely don't have the money to buy them. Besides, she is definitely not used to using them - these weapons are not children's toys in her hands.

Walking out the door, Lucina looked bored on the ground.

"Oh, you're back, Lusa! I can't stand the fact that two bear kids have been tugging at my wings!"

"I didn't go long. Rubbing her horse's back, Luca looked at the snowy and misty streets in the distance: there were indeed two children chasing and playing.

"Lusha, you seem to have your hands empty...... Didn't you buy anything?" the sister asked strangely, turning her horse's head.

"Hmm. Lusha took out the map and couldn't help but be a little discouraged: "The Eurasian currency can't be used here. We'll have to convert it to our local currency. ”

"Hey, that's a hassle!" Lucina slowed down the frequency of flapping her wings.

"Go to this place on the map...... See? Draw a circle there. Bringing the map closer to the horse's head, Aya said softly.

"Okay, okay...... Come on?" Lucina leaned down so that her sister could ride her, though she was not very reluctant.

The girl got on her horse and pulled up the reins.

A turquoise owl slowly flew over Neverwinter, overlooking the ground.

Above a pale green winter meadow covered with a thin layer of snow, a male elf leaned leisurely against a vigorous winter tree with his eyes closed.

The owl flew over the running ghost sky and chirped.

Found you...... The elf snapped a rest charm and opened its eyes slightly. His body vanished suddenly, shifting to the position of the demon.
