Section F Chapter 33: Verification (Lucina)
"What's wrong with you?" The mad dog slapped the tower wall and raised his voice: "You can't go up yet, give me a word." ā
"What's the hurry? IāI'm just thinking about it. Raising her head stupidly, Lucina looked at the hazy ice dragon in a daze: "I just think-"
"Alright, don't think that. Hurry up and decide, don't waste time. With a snort, the mad dog squinted at Aya: "I knew you were so grinding, Lao Tzu definitely didn't bring you here." ā
"I'm just a little scared that it's really corrupted. Not in the mood to fight with a mad dog, Lucina suddenly felt very helpless at the thought of flying up alone: "I can't use spells now, so I can't defend myself at all." ā
"Someone just said that he could fly faster than a dragon, so there was no problem with escaping. Losing no time in teasing Aya, the mad dog's tone completely reversed in an instant, and was replaced by a calm tone: "Forget it, it's really a bit dangerous to let you go by yourself." When you find Lusa, you two will go and see it......"
"That's, that's not going to work. Shaking her head hurriedly, Lucina hung her head uneasily: "In a while, maybe the ice dragon will fly away." Isn't there a way to verify if it's corrupted?"
"Then you're still hesitating? Patting Aya on the head, Mad Dog reached his hand to his waist and fumbled for a while: "Here, take this." It's good to be brave. ā
Just as Lucina looked expectantly at what he had handed him, she was chagrined to find that the mad dog had pulled out only the flask.
"What's the use of you giving me this thing, tease me?" Pushing away the flask in annoyance, she puffed up and slapped the miniature model tied around her waist with a snap: "I have one too......!
"It's just to tease you. Grinning, Mad Dog pinned the flask back to his waist with satisfaction: "How is it, the mood has eased a little?"
I don't seem to be that nervous anymore, but it's not funny at all...... Opening her mouth but not saying anything, Lucina realized that Seresa was trying to make herself more relaxed, albeit a clumsy joke. Mad Dog definitely understood the uneasiness he felt when he lost his ability to cast spells as a mage, and decided to do this.
"It's better. Still a little discouraged, Lucina shouted unwillingly, "Can't you come up with some reliable sharp props......?"
"You're an Aiya who is naturally immune to the invisibility of external props, and it's useful to stab your sword?" said with a tlug in his mouth, and Mad Dog said mercilessly at a very fast pace: "I'll parry the dagger for you, but will you use such a difficult thing?" Besides, do you plan to use this little dagger to parry the dragon's breath or do you want to stab it to tickle?"
You didn't say that you were afraid that those precious weapons would not be easy to take down after I died on them, and I was really grateful...... "That's what you said, but you don't have to be so ruthless? Dumbfounded by this series of sharp and choking rebuttals, Lucina tugged at the hem of her skirt in frustration: "Can't you just talk to me as gently as you do to Lusa, weird and scary ......"
"The tone in which I speak depends entirely on my mood, that's my principle. After cheekily uttering the statement full of personality, the mad dog changed his words and said, "Do you have the kung fu to grind with me now?
"What are you urging!" Lucina reluctantly admitted, but from the bottom of her heart, the mad dog's seemingly fault-finding words did dispel most of her cowardice and uneasiness.
Condensing the power of the angel, she spread her white wings on her exposed back after a burst of white light. "If only I could use magic so easily now," Lucina took a deep breath to calm down and flapped her wings.
In order to make it easier to fly and escape later, Lucina mobilized the power of the angels to form a transparent life-size barrier to resist the wind. The resistance to the wings dissipated in the moment the structure was formed, and the air currents around the body did not affect the balance of the body in the slightest.
Speeding up the flapping of her wings, she rose in a straight line at a constant speed, slowly hovering over the edge of the top of the tower after a dozen seconds. The large, lazy blue ice dragon lying on its side was completely exposed to the sight, unobscured by the snow and mist. Looking at it snoring in a leisurely position, Lucina was finally relieved, and turned her doubts into excitement: there was not a trace of corruption on its body. Each of the dragon's scales is smooth and covered with snow.
What, isn't that okay? Sure enough, I'm thinking too much...... Taking a breath of relief, Lucina thought indignantly: It's all to blame the mad dog for being sensational, and saying something scaring to make people so worried.
I don't think I've ever seen this dragon, do I? It doesn't seem to match the size of the two on top of Snowcastle...... Thinking about it for a while, Lucina decided that it was the one she had seen with the elf before: she liked to sleep so much, that is, she definitely didn't run. It was the same last time, and when it was a little farther away, it could be seen moving twice and again, and then the creature was sleeping there motionless on its stomach - like a statue.
Dragons seem to like to sleep...... Seeing that it slept so soundly, Lucina decided not to disturb it anymore. Cereya's loud shouts could be faintly heard in the wind, and Lucina lowered her head and responded in as loud a voice as she could, "This dragon is fine, it's not corrupted!"
Despite the mad dog's barking and telling her to hurry down, Lucina decided to land on the platform to get a closer look. Just as she had found a place to stay unoccupied by the ice dragon's body, an idea popped into her: I could see far away here, and maybe I could find where Lusa was.
This guy isn't going to roll over and crush me to death, is he...... Cautiously approaching the ice dragon, Lucina decided to give it a wake-up call to let it know it was coming. Reaching out and patting it, the ice dragon opened its eyes slightly, and fell back into a deep sleep after a lazy chirp.
Well, that should be fine now!, reassured, Lucina began to look around. However, to her dismay, the snow and fog below seemed to be thicker due to the height of the tower. Through the thick fog, she could only vaguely see the shape of the house. Not to mention going to Lusa.
Turning back in frustration, she inadvertently glanced at the ice dragon again. However, because of this action, her expression showed great consternation.
