Chapter 191: Opening Ceremony (2)
For the rest of the journey, they didn't talk much about it. The www.biquge.info of the pen and the court told the purpose of the Dementors in Van Lin, and everyone fell into a deathly silence.
At last. The train finally stopped at Hogwarts Station, and it was a bustling affair: owls chirping, cats meowing, Neville's pet toad croaking under his hat. The little platform was already frozen, and the cold rain was pouring down.
"First graders come here!" a familiar voice shouted. Harry, Ron, Verlin, and Hermione turned around and saw Hagrid's burly figure on the other side of the platform. He is beckoning to the panicked new students to take them on a traditional trip across the lake. I wish there wasn't that unlucky guy pushed into the water by merfolk this year, hopefully.
"Okay, you four?" Hagrid shouted at them over the many-headed. They waved at him, but didn't get a chance to speak to him, as the people around them were pushing them along the platform. Harry, Ron, Van Lin, and Hermione followed the rest of the school down a rough and dirt road, where at least a hundred carriages were waiting for the remaining students, each pulled by an invisible horse, and Harry could only assume that this was the case, because when they climbed into a carriage and closed the door, the carriage spontaneously and stumbled along the way.
There was a faint musty smell and straw smell inside the carriage. Harry felt better since eating the chocolate, but he still felt weak. Ron and Hermione had been secretly watching him, as if they were afraid that he would break down again.
The carriage rolled along, and in front of it was a pair of magnificent cast-iron gates, lined with stone pillars and winged boars, and Harry saw two more tall, turbaned Dementors standing guard on either side of the gate.
There seemed to be another cold wave coming over him, and Harry shrank back into his bumpy seat, keeping his eyes closed until they walked through the door.
The carriage picked up speed on the long ramp to the castle, and Hermione leaned out the window to watch the many corner towers and towers approaching them. Finally, the carriage staggered to a halt, and Hermione and Van Lin got out of it.
As Harry and Ron got out of the car, a long, slow-paced sound rang in their ears.
"I heard you fainted, did you, Potter? Longbottom telling the truth?
Malfoy smug his face as he squeezed past Hermione, blocking Harry's way up the stone steps into the castle. Those pale eyes flashed maliciously.
"Go away, Malfoy. Ron said through gritted teeth.
"Did you faint too, Weasley?" said Malfoy. "That horrible old guy scared you, didn't he, Weasley?"
"I suppose you'd better move your body away from Hermione before you succeed in provoking me into a friendly match with me......," Van Lin said, not minding a pleasant mutual injury with Malfoy.
"Why, Vanlin......" Malfoy said viciously, "you think you can scare me?"
"You can give it a try, Malfoy...... Don't brush your presence in front of me, or I won't mind cutting this little white flower of the Malfoy family into a flower bone......"
Van Lin was really annoyed, the Dementors, and the damn Sirius, and most importantly, Malfoy actually pushed Hermione...... That's the point.
"Little White Flower?" Malfoy repeated, a little confused, but soon realized how stupid it was.
But before Malfoy could launch a new round of mouth cannon attacks and project a wave of death-defying taunts at Van Lin, Professor Lupin's arrival restrained Malfoy's death to a certain extent.
"Is something wrong?" asked a gentle voice. Professor Lupin had just gotten out of a carriage behind him.
Malfoy glared haughtily at Professor Lupin, taking in the patches on Professor Lupin's robes and the tattered chest.
There was a sarcasm in his voice and he said, "Oh, no...... Oh...... Professor. Then he smirked at Kra and Goyle, and led them up the stone steps into the castle.
"It's really hopeless...... "Van Lin is helpless, Malfoy is a spoiled child.
"Alright...... Let's go. Hermione said as she shoved Harry behind and told him to hurry up, and the four joined the crowd on the stone steps, through the large oak door, into the deep antechamber, where the torches were brightly lit. The hall has a magnificent marble staircase leading upstairs.
The door to the right of the auditorium was open, and Harry followed the crowd towards the hall, but he hadn't had time to look at the magical ceiling...... The ceiling is dark and dark tonight...... Then I heard a voice shouting, "Potter, Granger, Al, I want to see you three!"
The three of them turned around, and Harry was surprised. Professor McGonagall, Head of Gryffindor, was greeting them across the crowd. She was a stern-looking witch with her hair combed in a tight bun and a pair of square glasses over her sharp eyes.
"Don't worry about Harry!" Van Lin whispered, "Professor McGonagall should only be concerned about things on the train, but ...... What is she looking for me and Hermione to do......" Van Lin was confused.
Harry squeezed in front of her, feeling that something was about to happen, and Professor McGonagall always made him feel that he had done something wrong.
"Don't be so sad...... I'm just going to talk to you guys in the office. She told them. "Weasley, go over there. ”
Ron watched as Professor McGonagall led Harry, Verlin, and Hermione away from the chattering crowd, and the two of them accompanied her through the antechamber, up the marble staircase, and down the hallway.
They walked into her office, a small room with a welcoming fire burning in the fireplace, and Professor McGonagall immediately motioned for the three of them to sit down.
She sat down behind her desk and suddenly said, "Professor Lupin sent an owl first, and he said that you were raided by Dementors on the train, Potter fainted, and El released a Patronus Charm that was nearly complete......"
Before Harry could reply. There was a gentle knock on the door, and Madam Pomfrey, the head nurse, hurried in.
Harry felt himself blush. He fainted, or whatever he did, even if people didn't make a fuss about it, it was bad enough.
"You two little imps," said Madam Pomfrey, "you must have done something dangerous, and besides, this little girl......"
