Alda's gods

The story told in this novel takes place in a world called Arda. In the annals, Alda is known to have two continents: Amen to the west and Middle-earth to the east. The center of this story is the plain of Beleriander, located on the west coast of Middle-earth. However, the continent of Amen, which does not appear much but is often mentioned, will play an important role in this story.

It was Illuvita who created Arda, the supreme god. He has no gender and no image. Nor did He ever incarnate any spirit or human descend on Arda. He created in His mind the Vera, the Lord God. Revering Iluvita's wishes, they created the world called Arda with a grand movement.

Iluvita informs Vera that she will have two tribes of children awakened in this world and live in it. They were the firstborn children, the elves, and the later children, the humans. And Vera's task is to guide them. One of the Villas has rebelled against Iluvita, and he is Mirkor, the god of darkness and brutality. Later, it became known to the world by the name Morgoth. That is, the source of evil in this story.

Fourteen good Vera descended on Alda. Seven took male avatars, and the other seven took female avatars. They build the world's landscapes and environments and make them habitable, while Mirko destroys their work. So in this dynamic equilibrium there is the present world. Before the elves could wake up, Mirko had been captured alive and imprisoned by the Vera.

The fourteen Veras are: the seven male gods Manwi the god of the sky and wind, Ori, the god of earth and forging, Olomi, the god of beasts and hunting, Mandus, the god of death and judgment, Lorien, the god of delusion and dreams, Uomu, the god of the sea and water, and Tokas, the god of strength and courage.

and the seven female goddesses, Valda, the god of stars and light, Yavanna, the god of vegetation and nature, Verry, the goddess of textiles and fate, Silti, the goddess of sleep and healing, Nena, the goddess of sorrow and mourning, Nessa, the goddess of joy and joy, and Vana, the goddess of youth and budding.

Eight of them possess great power and prestige: Manwe, Valda, Uomu, Yavanna, Orli, Mandus, Nena, and Olomi.

At that time, Alda had numerous deities, some of whom were loyal to these good Vera, while others took refuge in Mirkor. These secondary gods are Maiah. How many of them there are, the elves do not know. Only a few are known in history. Including Valda's maid Ilmari. Manway's herald and flag bearer, Eonwy. The three of U'omu's men, Maiya Salma, Osi, and Uni. There was also a Maia named Meian, who served Vaana and Stysty.

In addition, there are also many evil Maia who have thrown themselves under the command of Mirkor, such as the scheming Sauron, and the Fire Demon King Gosmog.
