Introduction to the elves of each race

In the language of the elves, they refer to the collection of all the elves as kundi. At the beginning of the Great Migration, Vera summoned all of the Kundi to the western continent of Amen. Some of them, out of caution about the Lord God, refused to be called. They were called Avare, "the reluctant". They rarely reappeared in the long river of history. The part of Kundi that is willing to embark on the journey is called Elda.

There are three tribes in Elda, Vanya, Noldor and Tellery. During the Great Migration, all Eldar of the Vanya and Noldor tribes landed on the continent of Amen. The Tellerians only partially made it to Amen. These ascended to Fanya in Amen. The Noldor and Telleri are collectively known as Karakundi, the "Elves of Light". Because they saw the light of the Twin Sacred Trees.

During the migration, some of Taylorey chose to abandon the migration. Some of them broke away from the large forces east of the Blue Mountains. They came to be known as the Nando. Others, after crossing the Blue Mountains, stayed in love with the fertile plains of Beleriand. They are the Sindar, the "Grey Elves". Some of the Nando elves who had left the party had crossed the Blue Mountains in later years. They settled in the Land of the Seven Rivers and were called Laykundi, the "Green Elves". The Nando and the Grey Elves are collectively known as Umanya, "not of Amen". These Umanya and the "Reluctant" Avari have never been on the Western Continent in recorded history, and they are collectively known as Murrekundi, the "Dark Elves". For they had never seen the light of the Twin Sacred Trees.
