Chapter 13: On the shores of Lake Eluin

Tarn Aluin is located in the eastern part of the Dosonian Highlands. It is a crystal clear lake surrounded by dense pine forests and rolling rugged mountains. The Oaks who traveled south during the Battle of the Sudden Fire did not set foot here, so it still retains a beautiful environment. No one knows why the lake was spared by the Orc's poison.

Legend among the elves said that during the time of the great migration, a Maia lived here, so there was a magical power that kept the evil forces from approaching. This Maia was the one who later met Elway of the Tellerian tribe, later King Singar, in the South Elmos Glades, and fell in love with him. They now live together in the vast woodlands of Doriath, ruling over the isolated woodland kingdom of the Sindar. Merian cast a magic power around the kingdom, enveloping their kingdom away from the strife of war. They gave birth to Lucian, who, due to her Maia bloodline, possessed a beauty that even the elves could not have imagined.

But that's something that needs to be mentioned later. It's 460 years now, and it's been three years since Belรฉn and the others nearly captured the banshee's Ringway Hill. In the woodlands where the Dosonian Highlands are still alive, the traces of autumn have become stronger. On the shores of Lake Eluin, the leaves slowly turn yellow, and the night insects disappear. The heat accumulated in the summer began to dissipate, the grass began to turn yellow, and the flowers began to wither.

The group of rangers who wandered in the Dosonian Heights all day long approached the lake in this mid-autumn season, but because of the arrangement of fate. They were climbing a high mountain by the lake. Balahir rode at the front of the group. In total, they had only four horses left, and the other three were originally used to transport their luggage. Because of his old age and weakness, they had to give him a horse to ride.

"We haven't eaten for three days, uncle. Balagund, who was walking beside Balahir, said with his pale lips moving. He's right. The backpacks on the three horses now only store the weapons of the crowd and the blankets they wrapped in when they slept.

Beregund also spoke: "We can only find a way to get out of the Dosonian Heights. It's uninhabitable. โ€

Balahir shook his head, "There's no way we can get out of here. After the Battle of the Sudden Fire, there were countless Orcs on the way north, so why did we fight our way out? and to the south, there was only a dead end, for the towering Eredgolos and the cliffs on the other side stood in our way. Balahir's gaze looked south. As you can see, the terrain slowly climbs south until you reach the foot of a towering mountain range. From there, the terrain rises steeply.

"Maybe we can find a gentle path from the mountains?"

A voice interrupted him, it was his brother Dai Ruin, "Even if we can find it, what if we leave the highlands? It's the Valley of Terrible Death, and we don't know what kind of fear is inside." โ€

"Even if we could survive the Nandon Pot, we would have nowhere to go. Singar's kingdom will not be opened for us. Dorias is surrounded by the Ann Ring of Beauty, and we will get lost in it. Dagnier said.

His brother Ragnorr spoke suddenly, "Maybe the Dinbar Plains is a place where you can live temporarily? Situated on the banks of the West Ryan River, it is a fertile and quiet land. โ€

"yes, it's safe there. "To the north of it is the valley of the West Ryan, where King Finrod may still be guarded, and the Hareth of the Brihil Forest are also a line of defense." The enemy has not yet been able to storm the Dinbar plain. โ€

Ashad spoken, "If you say so, we might as well go to the Brehill Forest and join the Hareth clan. โ€

"That's enough! you're thinking too far, and it's uncertain whether we'll be able to leave Dosonian!" shouted Usser.

Belรฉn and Hashaldir walked at the end of the line, leading the three horses carrying the luggage. They had a heated discussion, and he couldn't interject at all. He was twenty-eight years old, but he didn't have any language in common with the elders. He still couldn't even memorize a map of Beleriand, let alone join their discussion. But there's one thing he resonates strongly with these people, and that's that he's suffering from hunger right now.

As they climbed over the gray mountain, Tarn Eluin came into view. Balahir overlooked the lake in surprise and then climbed off his horse tremblingly. Belen stepped up to help him. "Thank you for the favor of fate!" said Barahir in a hoarse voice.

"Here'......" Golim asked.

Tears glistened in Balahir's eyes. Belen looked at him, and a bitterness was born in his heart. He knew that he would eventually lose the father he had always relied on. He mocked in his heart that he had never faded away from his naivety.

"I remember the land. Balahir lowered his head and recalled, "My people were given the fiefdom of Radlos by King Finrod fifty years ago, and we migrated from Estorald. I was 10 years old, and I vaguely remember visiting the lake a week before I was about to arrive at my new home. The terrain was rugged at the time, so we didn't choose to live here. Balahir looked around, then into the low mountains to the northeast, "That's the home destroyed in the Battle of the Flames, Radlos." โ€

Belรฉn looked in the direction Barahir was pointing, and he saw Ladelos, surrounded by hills, where they had fled five years earlier. The houses there have now been burned down, blending in with the Taur-Nu-Fuyin environment. They walked down the hillside, and the ground was covered with gray stones, so it was a little slippery. Balahir did not mount his horse, and they all walked down the hill with the tall pine trees on the hillside.

There are still many broad-leaved trees growing around the lake. When they came to the lake, Belรฉm saw that the apple trees by the lake were full of birds' nests. A few sparrows chirp in the trees, and ravens fly in the air. Squirrels leap from one coniferous treetop to another. Under a bare rock, a badger pulls on the damp dirt by the lake and hides, leaving a small black hole. There are all kinds of fish swimming in the lake, and a few swans singing on the surface of the lake. It's late afternoon, and the lake reflects the gray mountains and the red sunset in the west. The thick smoke that drifted from the Gates of Angban didn't seem to infect the sky here.

Hashaldir cheered, he took off his coat and ran into the lake. Belรฉm followed him. Dejoin and Ragnoll joined them and swam in the water. In a few moments, the sturdy Dai Ruin caught a few fish from the water with a harpoon. Belen saw the fish struggling, with fear in his eyes. Blood gushed from the harpoon-pierced wound.

"Let it go, Dairuin. Belรฉn said.

Ragnorr laughed, and he said, "You don't have pity for you, do you?" and even Hashaldir laughed at his actions.

Others watched them from the shore, rejoicing in finding this shelter. Only one person did not laugh. That's Golim. Belen saw his sad expression, but he was not surprised. They have always called him the "Widower". He hadn't smiled since the Battle of the Flames. Although most of the time, when someone makes a joke, he spoils the relaxed atmosphere, but that's completely understandable. Because he lost his wife, Elenelle, in that war.

It's not that he saw his wife killed by Orc, it's just that the situation was so chaotic that the only thing he was sure of was that although Barahir's wife, Emedire, had gathered all the women and children in the town and evacuated early, he didn't see Elenelle in the evacuee.

He was convinced that Elenelle was not dead, but was just hiding like them somewhere in Dosonian.

He suddenly spoke: "Balahir, can you allow me to leave for a while?" โ€

Balahir looked at him, and he could fully guess Golim's purpose: "Is it for Eleinelle?" Barahir sighed softly, but Golim heard him anyway. Golim frowned.

"She may still be alive, hiding somewhere in Dosonian. If so, she must need me now. "I've been hoping to find a clue that she's still alive, but to no avail." But now, this is the closest I've come to the truth. Because I'm so close to where I used to be. If she is still alive, she may return to Ladelos and leave clues where we lived. I had to check it out. โ€

"That's too unlikely. "It would be cruel to say that, but she can't survive alone in this place." Even if she escaped from Radlos, she had already been captured, humiliated, or killed by Orc. Even then, don't you give up hope?"

Golim nodded, and the laughter of Belen and the others from the lake made them seem strangely quiet here: "Even if the hope is gone, I can't pass up this opportunity. Because if I give up, and Elenelle is still alive, then I will regret it. His eyes scanned the few people on the shore, "I'll leave early tomorrow morning, and if I don't find anything on this trip, then I'll be back at once." That way, I'll be sure that Elenelle has indeed left us. โ€

Then they found a warm, dry cave at the foot of a mountain peak by the lake, and placed it for their future habitation. Because they're going to spend the rest of their lives here. When the sun went below the horizon, the people of the lake came ashore with a large number of fish.

They cut down some trees and made a fire on the bank of the river. The grilled fish fills their stomachs that have been starving for days. Belรฉn was reluctant to eat at first, as he recalled the fishing he had just taken. But the smell of the grilled fish was so tempting, and he was hungry for days, and they teased him that if he didn't eat the fish, they wouldn't help him pick apples from the tree and eat them. So he couldn't help but eat some.

They sang a few songs and fell asleep. Early the next morning, Golim took some fish and apples from the trees, and then set out on a horse.

It's been three days since Golim left. During these three days, the remaining twelve people took turns leaving the cave every day to patrol the surrounding area, hunting, picking fruit from the trees, or chopping some wood for fire. The crowd was amazed to find that the natural resources around the lake were extremely abundant, enough to sustain them for several years. The premise is that it is not discovered by the Oaks. But they have an imminent difficulty, and winter is coming.

They began to hoard food in the caves. By the time of three days, the cave had stored a lot of apples and meat. Belen couldn't stand the cave, the corpses of dead rabbits, stags, wild boars, and bears smelled of blood from their fatal wounds.

Today's turn to go out hunting are Belen, Dagnir and Assad. When they saw the sun climb among the mountains to the east, they set out with bows and swords. Belen followed them. In fact, he is very bad at hunting. And he didn't think that killing those wild animals to satisfy his appetite was a skill that had to be mastered.

But their morning job was not hunting. They're going to patrol the area around Tarn Eluin. If they notice the approach of the Orc, they must go back and inform everyone immediately. The weather is getting colder day by day, especially on such a late autumn morning, and everyone's mouths exhale bursts of white air. They made three thick fur clothes from the fur of the bears they had hunted the other day. Everyday outers can wear these clothes to go out.

Belรฉn and the other three were wearing these fur coats at the moment, and Belรฉn was carrying a bow and quiver on his back. As they walked out of the cave, Belen crept up to their three horses and shoved the three apples he had stolen from the inventory into their mouths. The horses chewed and flicked their tails happily. Belen held up his fingers at them and made a stop-and-go gesture.

After that, they moved away from the lake. They walked the rugged mountain road with a tree branch. They were going to climb over the mountain in front of them and go outside this isolated place. Thinking of the origin of the clothes on his body made Belen very uncomfortable to wear. And he felt something behind him following them. When he turned around, he knew he didn't feel wrong. It was a huge black bear.

"Be careful!" Belen shouted. The bear roared and pounced. The soft sandy ground made the menacing black bear nearly slip. The black bear pounced on Assad. He immediately drew his sword to resist, but was already pressed to the ground by the bear's huge palm. Even Assad's strong stature looked so small under the black bear.

He slashed the bear in the stomach with his sword, and the black bear went mad from the sting of the blade and slammed its body on Assad's body. Belen saw a mouthful of blood spit out of Assad's mouth. "Help me!" Ashad shouted. The sword in his hand was slapped a few feet away by the black bear. He supported the black bear's body with his hands, and with his outstanding endurance, he could barely resist the thick weight of the black bear.

At first, Belรฉn stood still. When he heard Assad's cries for help, he remembered that only he had a bow on his body that could end the life of a black bear. Now only he can talk about Assad, he thought. He immediately took out his bow from his back, and then took out an arrow and pointed it at the black bear.

But he hesitated......

I don't want to kill it, he thought, but if I don't kill it, Assad will die. "What are you hesitating about? you fool!" Dagnier asked him anxiously as he watched his frozen movements. By this time, Ashad was already unconscious, and the black bear bit his arm and pressed the bear paw on his head. Ragnir couldn't take it anymore, he sighed and ran to Belen, snatched the bow and arrow from his hand, pulled the bowstring with all his might, and shot it at the top of the black bear's head. Among the crowds, Dagnir's archery skills are the most exquisite. Half of the arrow was plunged into the top of the black bear's head, and the black bear rolled its eyes, stopped its attack on Assad, and fell down in convulsions, dying beside Ashad.

Ragnir immediately ran to Assad's side. He took out the kettle and brought it to Assad's mouth, and the unconscious Ashad sat up tremblingly and shook his head after taking a few sips of water. The wound on his hand was still bleeding, and he clutched his chest with a pained expression. Belen watched from the sidelines, relieved by Assad's sobriety.

"Give me the kettle. Ashad took the kettle to rinse his wound and poured the rest of the water on his head.

During this time, Ragniel angrily stood up and rushed to Belen: "You almost killed him!" Belรฉn bowed his head and did not speak. Assad waved his hand behind him, signaling Ragnir to calm down. He stood up and placed his hand on Ragnier's shoulder. "I'm fine. I can still walk, see?"

"It's just...... It's life on both sides, and I can't do it......," Belen said vaguely.

Ragnier took Belen's face and looked him in the eye and said, "Wake up, put away your misplaced mercy! That's just an animal!" said Ragnier, "I know your kindness. But this is a world of the jungle! At least, it's not time for you to show your kindness! Morgoth's pawns threaten our lives at all times!"

Belen didn't know how much he was listening. They stayed where they were for half an hour, collecting herbs around to disinfect Assad's wounds. At noon, they came to the top of the mountain. Because of the season, the sun shifts very strongly to the south. As they looked to the west, they noticed that the Orcs who had been standing still in Taur-Nu-Fuyin were now on the march. There was a squad in the immediate vicinity that was only ten miles away from them. They are on their way north, and judging by the route they are traveling, they will not pass by here. But it was strange that so many troops were starting to rush at the same time.

"What's going on?" asked Assad.

Ragniel shook his head. "This finding is important. Something must have changed in Dosonian. We have to go back and tell the others right away. โ€

So they immediately returned. Belen and Ragnir carried the corpse of the shot bear, while Ashad limped behind. They returned to the cave in the evening. Balahir looked at the badly wounded Ashad and went up to help him. "What's wrong with him?"

"We were attacked by this black bear. Ragniel said, throwing the black bear to the ground.

"It's because of my cowardice!" Belen interrupted, "I hesitated to shoot it in the first place." Balahir's eyes suddenly lit up with anger. He slapped Belen hard. "These are the last of your clansmen! When I die, you will be their chief! But you almost failed to protect them!Do you know how sad I would be if Assad was killed today?" Belen was silent. The others looked at each other in surprise and didn't dare to step forward, "Son, true kindness is not to show your compassion to everyone. Remember, those who are truly good will protect those who deserve your love and protection, but you must fight back against the wicked who hurt your loved ones. Belen didn't bother to listen to him, and nodded perfunctorily.

It was Ragnier who eased the tension. "Balahir, don't blame Belen. Now there is something more urgent to tell you!" Barahir motioned for him to continue, "and on the top of the hill we saw the Ocs of Dosonian marching. Judging by the route, they are concentrating somewhere. But we can't judge their destination. โ€

"The nearest Orcat unit is only ten miles away and is heading north. I feel that we must grasp the movements of the enemy and send people to follow them is a wise decision. Although we are in the shadows, we can't let our guard down too much!" Ashad said.

"Let me go!" Belen suddenly said firmly, "I know, I've been holding everyone back. I want to prove myself. Let me follow them!"

Balahir looked at him, the glow of the campfire reflected in his pupils, reflecting a bright light. "Well, my son. I am very touched that you have this heart. "Ride a horse," he said, trembling, "and catch up with the Orcs as soon as possible." Find the place where they are assembled. But remember, if you encounter danger, abandon the mission and come back!

Belรฉn caught up with the Ocs early the next morning. After that, he rode his horse to follow the traces that Oak had left on the ground. He carefully controlled his speed so as not to get too close to the Orc's team. He followed the footprints of the group of Orcs for four days, and finally found their destination that night.

It used to be a dark forest of dead trees, but it looked like it had been cut down a short time ago, and it looked like all the hair on the top of a person's head had been shaved off. This frees up a lot of flat space. Belen was surprised to find that the many Orcs that had been scattered throughout Dosonian were now all gathered in this clearing. They set up a vast company camp. The camp was noisy, filled with the sound of Oak and the rotting stench of Oak. Bonfires illuminate the nearby woodlands.

Belen dared to peek out from behind a tree to see what was going on inside the camp, only to find an unexpected person, the sorcerer Sauron. On Sauron's shoulder lay Tevido, who had transformed into a black cat. He had just come out of a tent and vanished into a cloud of black smoke. And Belen was puzzled, as if the Oak, who had just assembled, was about to leave again. The Oaks in the camp are putting away their tents in groups.

"Sorcerer Sauron is here, Taur-Nu-Floating Yin?" Belen muttered to himself, "Is this why the Orcs are massing in large numbers?" he frowned, "Did Zoro come to search for some of our companions himself?, I need to go back and warn you all right away!" He was about to turn and mount his horse, only to find two Orcs dragging a human to the edge of the camp. They threw him in the dark woods outside the camp. "Who's that?"

When Oak returned to the camp, Belen ran up with curiosity. He couldn't believe his eyes, because in front of him was Golim the Widow. He lay on the ground, dying. Frowning in pain. Sweat was pouring from the top of his head, and he writhed violently on the ground as if he was in great pain. Belen crouched down in front of him. "Are you alright, Golim?"

"I ...... Sauron cast a spell on me. He didn't let me die right away, he left me here...... I'll be ...... by his witchcraft after a day Killed by his sorcery, but I will suffer untold pain throughout the day......" Golim said inarticulately.

Belen wiped the sweat from Golim's forehead with his sleeve, "Hold on, Golim!" he said, "what the hell is going on, aren't you going back to Ladelos?"

"I ...... I made a mistake...... I have betrayed you...... I betrayed you......" he let out a heart-rending cry after saying this, "it's too late...... Sauron has already sent someone...... A small group selected from these oaks. They marched very fast...... Fast...... You'll have to catch up with them and let everyone know before they reach Tarn Eluin...... Run away ......"

"Wake up! You have to keep going!" Belen said.

"I'm hopeless...... Sauron's sorcery is eating away at my flesh...... I beg you...... Please......" Golim grabbed Belen with a trembling hand, "let me be free...... This...... It's so painful......"

A tear fell from Belen's eye. He understood what Golim meant, but if he wanted him to kill Golim, he couldn't. He wiped away his tears and shook his head. Golim's lips were still shaking, but he couldn't make a sound. Belen could see that the mouth was "Please". But Belรฉm stood up. Golim's face was filled with despair. He suddenly snatched Belen's sword and slit his own neck. His blood splattered out, staining Belen's face all red. Belen sat down on the ground in fright, and stayed there for a long time.

After a moment of silence, he spoke, "I need to cheer up! I need to go and inform everyone!" He wiped the blood from his sword with his clothes, rode back and left.

Five days ago.

The path in front of him was all too familiar to Golim. Follow this street to the end, which is your former home. It was night, but there was no fire burning in the streetlights on the side of the road, and the houses on both sides of the street had been set on char by the Oak after the fall of the city. Cobwebs have been hung between the ruins, making people feel the bustle of the town. yes, Golim thought, it's been five years since the Battle of the Blaze.

He looked at the house at the end of the street. As a retainer of Balahir, the house he once lived in was not shabby. It was a two-story house, and now the tiles on the pointed roof were piled up on the ground and broken into tiny pieces. The blackened windows were still open, and I remember how Elenelle complained about the snow that had been falling for days on a Sunday, and the doors and windows were closed, and then smiled and went to open the windows, and I remember that afternoon, when he was suddenly summoned to the north of the town, and told Elenelle to hide in the house, and when he was surprised to hear that the women and children in the town had begun to evacuate, he found that he did not see Elenelle's despair. He remembered Elenelle's smile, the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in the world.

Just as he was falling into his memory, he suddenly heard a voice in the room. His heart tightened. He drew the sword from his waist and stepped forward on tiptoe. He didn't dare to make a sound, for fear it would be the sound of Oak. He slowly pushed open the door of the room and stepped inside. He creaked as he stepped on the wooden floor. He was taken aback. He heard voices coming from the second floor. As he listened closely, he heard the woman's humming.

It's Elenelle!, he cheered in his heart. He ran quickly upstairs and saw the wife he had been dreaming about. He couldn't believe it was true, but Elenelle was really in front of her. Alinelle was startled at first when she saw him, but when she ignored Golim's long unkempt hair and shaggy beard, she recognized him too.

They ran up and hugged each other. Golim kissed her and put his hand around Elenelle tightly. When he smelled the familiar body fragrance on Elenelle, a tear welled up in the corner of his eye. He gently stroked Elenelle's face and looked at her, "Why, you're here? I've been looking for you for a long time!"

"I've been looking for you for five years!" Elenelle smiled, "I've been hiding in my room since you left. The Oak didn't find me, but they burned down the house. I survived the fire and have been wandering around ever since. I've always wanted to find you. Just a few days ago I thought you might come back here, and I'm here to look for traces of where you've been. โ€

Golim didn't expect that Alenelle had the same idea. It must have been fate, he thought, because it was such a coincidence. "I have twelve companions with me. Come back with me, we won't be separated from each other in the future!"

Elenelle looked at him and nodded. "Where's your shelter, dear?" said Elenelle, who walked up and put her arms around him, looking up into his eyes. Golim took her by the hand and pulled her downstairs, "a place you would never think of!" he said, "and it would be fate to find such a piece of land in Dosonian, but I won't tell you now, because I want to see the look of surprise on your face when you get there." There was a wolf howl outside the window, "It's not safe in the wild, let's leave at night!"

Elenelle immediately shook her head: "It's too cold outside at night. And we don't know what other dangers we will encounter other than the Oak. โ€

"Okay, then we'll rest here tonight and leave tomorrow morning!"

Golim walked out of the house, went back to the end of the street, and led the horse to the door. He took the blanket from his horse, took it upstairs, and spread it on the ground. As they lay down on the blankets, Golim felt Elenelle's shiver. It's true that it's already too cold. He put his arm around Elenelle. Elenelle looked at him without closing her eyes. She pursed her lips shyly, her eyes glancing down at Golim. Golim understood what she meant.

Elenelle sat up and took off her coat. It had been so long that he couldn't even remember what her body looked like. Golim also tried to sit up, but she stopped him. Golim lay on his back, sucking from Elenelle, and he enjoyed the pleasure of Elenelle's tender lips.

There was a wolf howl from the eerie Tauer-Nu-Floating Yin, but it could not interrupt the lovers' warmth for the night.

The autumn morning breeze creaked at the blackened window frames of Golim's house. The cool wind blew into the house through the window, and Golim woke up in a shudder. Elenelle was lying beside him, she had actually woken up, but she had been lying quietly. A blanket was placed over her body. "I saw you sleeping soundly, so I didn't wake you up. She said. He kissed her and stroked her hair gently. Neither wanted to get up and looked at each other in silence.

Elenelle broke the silence, "Does the peach still taste sweet?" she asked, blushing as she asked.

Golim was surprised by her question, Elenelle was a very shy woman, but the wife in front of her seemed a little playful. Maybe the wandering life has changed him too, he thinks like this, and we have all changed. He touched the top of Elenelle's head and replied with a wicked smile, "Not only is it sweet, but it's more hydrated!"

Elenelle pinched his nose and whispered, "Nasty!" She pushed him away and lifted the blanket to her feet. She put on her clothes on the ground and threw those that belonged to Golim in his face. Golim also put on his own clothes and stood up. As he hung the sword on the table from his belt, he said to Elenelle, "Let us go at once! โ€

"Where the hell is your shelter, dear?" said Elenelle, who walked up and put her arms around him, looking up into his eyes. Golim took her by the hand and tried to pull her downstairs, "It's a nice place you never thought of!" he said, "and it is fate to find such a land in Dosonian!"

At this time, there was a sudden neighing of horses downstairs. Golim sensed danger. He guessed that he might have been followed by the enemy on his way. He motioned for Elenelle to keep her silent and let her stay upstairs. He slowly drew his saber, trying to suppress the grinding of metal. By this time the neighing of the horses had stopped. The downstairs silence was terrifying. He let go of Elenelle's hand and tiptoed downstairs.

As he expected, three Orcs were lying on the ground biting the horse he was riding. The horse's head was cut off and thrown to the ground on the side. The wooden floor was covered with a layer of horse blood. He stole closer to the three Orcs, trying to end their lives. He vaguely saw more Orcs outside the door. He must quietly eliminate the three in the house, then go upstairs and escape by jumping out of the window with Elenelle.

He stepped down the stairs, but the stairs suddenly broke due to age. So there was a loud bang at Golim's feet. The three Orcs looked at Golim at the same time, screaming sharply from their throats. They still had horse blood on their lips, and saliva spurted from their mouths as they screamed. They pounced on Golim on the stairs. Golim held his sword to his chest, and one of the stupid Oaks actually slammed his chest into the sword himself. Outside the door, Oak heard a noise in the room, kicked the door with a hint of hinges on it and rushed in.

Golim kicked the other two Orks away with his foot and turned to look upstairs. He's going to protect Elenelle. He immediately turned and went upstairs, stopping at the top of the staircase. Oak quickly climbed the stairs, and Elenelle covered her mouth and screamed. Golim swung his sword at the top of the stairs, but Oak didn't dare to get closer.

He heard the sound of glass shattering behind him. When he looked back, he saw that two Orcs had climbed the wall, and they had entered the room through the window behind Elenelle. Elenelle is clutched by an Orc's arm. Golim turned to save her, but Oak from behind him climbed to the second floor and knocked him unconscious with a stick.

When he woke up, he found himself tied up and lying in a dirty tent. He didn't know how much time had passed, but there was no Elenelle by his side. There was a stench of Oak in the tent, and there was nothing but damp mud on the ground. It was noisy outside, and it looked like he had been caught in Oak's camp.

"Mighty Sauron, we have informed the Orcs of the entire realm of Taur-Nu-Fuyin. They're concentrating here. He could hear Orc's gruff voice outside the tent, "But with just this one human, is it really necessary to gather troops so early?"

A gentle male voice rang out. Golim didn't need to dig deep into his memory to remember hearing it in the Serech swamp. It was the voice of the sorcerer Sauron: "I'll ask where the group is hiding." Soon after saying this, Golim saw Sauron open the curtain of the tent and enter.

"You're a member of Balahir's people, aren't you?" Sauron looked at him with a mocking smile, "It's amazing to hear that you've escaped all my men in Dosonion!

Golim shouted, "You monster, if you dare to touch Elenelle, I won't let you go!" He saw Zoro snort at that moment, but he didn't understand what that meant.

"She's safe, and I ordered my men not to touch her. "I just want to know where the Balahir people are hiding." And I now know very well that your beautiful wife doesn't know. How can I be willing to hurt her? After all, I can only dig up the news from your mouth now, right?"

He breathed a sigh of relief to hear that Elenelle was still safe. "But if you think I'm going to betray my people, you're foolish, sorcerer. โ€

For more than three days, because he was unwilling to betray Barahir, Sauron did not let her see Elenelle. Every day, Sauron would come to the tent where he was being held and negotiate with him in the gentlest tones. The tone was so soft that it frightened Golim. But he kept silent.

He was lying down, thinking about the vague future of the two.

Actually, he is still very worried. Although Sauron is not doing anything to Elenelle now, if he loses patience and threatens him with his wife's safety, he will have to choose between loyalty and love. But he told himself in his heart that even if he confessed the hiding place of Tarn Eluin to Sauron, the ruthless demons would not leave them alive. He didn't say anything, but he could guarantee Elenelle's safety for the time being.

Thinking of this, he began to blame himself deeply. He should have taken Elenelle out of Ladelos that night as planned, instead of staying there with her for the night. In a way, Elenelle was pushed to death by him.

Just then, Sauron entered. He still had Tevido on his shoulders. She was now in the form of a black cat, sleeping on Zoro's shoulder: "Dear Golim, have you thought about it?"

Golim still didn't speak. But Zoro's next words shook his mental defenses: "If you are willing to tell me where Balahir is hiding, I will reunite you husband and wife and give you freedom." My target is Balahir, and you are all just unfortunate enough to be involved in our feuds. You're all innocent, weigh it up, there's no need to lose your life. Golim looked at the gentle Sauron in front of him, and even changed his mind about these demons that he once thought had fallen to the extreme. Are they really so distinct? Do they really think they're innocent?

"Tarn Eluin ......," he sighed.

"What?" Zoro sneered suddenly. "In the cave on the shores of Lake Eluin, this lake is southwest of La Delos, and it can be reached on horseback for two days. Golim added.

Sauron laughed and walked outside the tent to explain something to the Orcs outside. Then he came back in. Still laughing, Golim said, "You promised me!" Zoro stopped laughing, "It's not Elenelle you've seen at all, you fool!"

Golim was stunned by his words, and his face suddenly turned pale. Was everything before all an illusion? Is the joy of his reunion with Elenelle, the joy of the night, all fake?

Sauron touched the cat on his shoulder. Tevidor suddenly jumped off her shoulder and onto the ground, and in a puff of black smoke, she took on the form of Elenelle. "Does the peach still taste sweet?" he smiled playfully at the sight of Eleinelle's appearance, "You've been spotted by Orc's scouts when you got close to Radlos. Zoro who received the news personally brought me to Taur-Nu-Floating Yin to arrest you. In order to trick you out of your shelter location without your defense, I took on the form of your beautiful wife, but I didn't expect you to say that you wanted to see my surprised expression, so you didn't tell me that kind of thing until now. I'm sick to death from you. She smiled and made a vomiting mouth.

"In desperation, we can only send the nearest Orc team to arrest you. In order to keep you stranded until the next morning, my Tevido sacrificed his own body. Sauron touched the top of Tevido's head, which seemed awkward to Golim. Sauron continued, "But she didn't disappoint me, you fell into our hands, and you foolishly thought she was really Elenelle. He suddenly remembered something, and said, "Oh, I forgot that I promised you to reunite you with Elenelle. It's a shame I don't know where Elenelle is. Who knows if she was caught by one of my Orcs in the Battle of the Flames. No, before they killed her, they had enjoyed the sweet, watery little peach. โ€

Golim's mind went blank at the moment, and Elenelle's dream of still being alive was completely shattered at this moment. Listening to Zoro's words, a pang of cramping felt in his heart. And he also betrayed his companions, simply because of his own stupidity. "Since we all think she's dead, isn't it possible to kill you and you can be reunited?" Zoro made a look of sudden realization, "Didn't I say that I would give you freedom? Death is a kind of freedom, right?" Zoro glanced at Golim, his heartache and white face seemed to give Zoro some satisfaction, "I promise you, I will let you die." But it won't make you die too happily, because I'm jealous that you and Tevido have spent the night together. Zoro walked over to Golim and crouched down and put his hand on his chest. Golim saw black smoke drift out from under his palm, spreading across his body, followed by a sharp pain that swept through his body.

The journey back to Tarn alluin took only a shorter time. Belen's heart was very worried, so he kept chasing after the Orc team that had been sent to Tarn Aluin. When he left Orc's company camp, he found that the company had already been disbanded. It seems that Sauron gathered these Orcs only to select a few of them who were quick and capable of execution, and to let them go as soon as Golim gave up his father's position.

Zoro takes us so seriously?

He was right, even the scheming Sauron had been worried about the group of rangers who walked through the Dosonian forest. As long as they lived, Sauron would not be able to safely put aside the situation of Dosonian. Now, Belรฉn doubts that they will be favored by fate again.

Belen felt desperate, because after two days and two nights of chasing, he still didn't see the Orcs in sight. The hilly area that surrounded Tarn Eluin was so close that perhaps my father was already ......

"No," he said to himself, "for five years, no matter what danger he encountered in Dosonian, his father and his loyal retainers were able to turn the tide of evil. "I don't doubt his loyalty, but why would he betray us?" he said after a moment of silence, "I'd rather believe that he was faced with a last resort." โ€

In the blood-red morning glow, the gray hillock in front of it is dark red. From behind the mountain came the cries of crows, and scavenging birds were hovering in the sky. The sight was unsettling to Belen. His heart was beating faster and faster, and blood rushed to his head. His grip on the reins became numb.

As he turned the mountain, the sight before him caused him a severe start. He was just as frightened as the horses beneath him. The horse raised its front hooves and neighed, and Belen fell from the saddle and fell backwards and his back to the ground. And the horse neighed and ran away.

The water of the lake in Tarn Aluin was dyed blood-colored, and I don't know if it was because of the morning glow or if it was really this color. There was something floating on the surface of the lake, and when Belรฉn walked in to look at it, he saw that it was a corpse. And there were several corpses lying on the shore. Some were human corpses, while others were Orcs who had been killed by them. The human corpses were all cut off. They still had horror on their faces. He saw among them were Dejouin, Ragnorr and Dagnir, Assad and Usel, and Hashardir. The birds were pecking at them, and Belรฉn chased them away with his sword.

When he reached the shore, two corpses suddenly appeared in the water, startling Belen. He fell backwards to the ground and took a long time to get up. Trembling, he dragged up the body from the water, it was Razruin and Golim's brother Gildo. They had many arrows stuck in their bodies.

He walked towards the cave where they were hiding. At the mouth of the cave lay Balagond and Beregunde. And his father, Balahir, lay in the cave. When he saw his father's aged face, Belรฉm's tears fell. He saw his father's right hand cut off, but he was still fighting with a sword in his left hand before he died. The words his father had said to him before he left the cave were now echoing in his mind: "Remember, the truly good will protect those who deserve your love and protection, but you must fight back against the wicked who hurt your loved ones." โ€

He spent the morning putting together the bodies of the crowd. He wanted to stop crying, but he couldn't. He lost all his loved ones, all those he could rely on. He doesn't know anything now, but he's alone. He wanted to light a fire and cremate everyone, but he couldn't even light a fire. He shouted, throwing the flint into the lake. How is he going to survive in Dosonian? He looked up, looked at the cold lake, and suddenly stood up.

He walked into the lake, and when the water was waist-deep, he poured backwards into the water. He allowed himself to sink down, spitting out all the air in his lungs. He watched the bubbles rise to the surface and closed his eyes. He inhaled hard in the water, and the lake instantly flooded his lungs. He coughed violently, trying to take in a breath of air, but only to suck in more water. He paddled desperately, the desire to survive grabbed him by the throat. But he was already unconscious. He gradually sank to the bottom of the lake.

Just as he was about to pass out, he felt something tugging at him. The force tugged at him and pulled him closer to the shore. Belen felt his face come out of the water. But he still had a lot of water in his lungs and he couldn't breathe. It was a deer that rescued him ashore. That's when the deer began to stomp on his chest. When Belen spat out the suffocating mouth of water stuck in his lungs, his eyes finally cleared. He coughed desperately and sat up slowly.

The deer was scared away, and it ran under a pine tree and looked at Belรฉm. "You saved me...... Belen said. Could it be that these animals can feel my kindness to them?, he thought. He saw the deer tilt its head at him, then leap away from under the pine tree and disappear.

The words suddenly echoed in his head: "Remember, the truly good will protect those who are worthy of your love and protection, but you must fight back against the wicked who hurt your loved ones." โ€

"I'll avenge you, father......"
