Regarding my father's hometown, although I don't go back much, I listen to my father often talking, and my ears are almost calloused.

It is located in the North China Plain, next to the Taihang Mountain, which can be traced back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and is a city with a long history anyway. The county seat where my father's hometown is located is called Mancheng County, which is also a historical city, and is the territory of King Jing of Zhongshan in the Western Han Dynasty, and was buried on a hill next to the county seat after his death, so the name of the mountain was called Lingshan.

Many of the names of villages in the jurisdiction have historical allusions. For example, the village where my father is located is called Shouling Village, which is said to be named after the people who lived here after King Jing of Zhongshan was buried in Lingshan.

In fact, in ancient times, the county seat was not called Mancheng County, it was called Yuchuan County, and Lingshan was not called Lingshan, because it resembled a lying turtle and was rich in high-quality white marble, so it was named Jade Turtle Mountain. Later, once King Jing of Zhongshan went out to inspect the territory and asked the county Cheng, "How many people with the surname of the country are there?" The county Cheng is also obedient, afraid of saying that the prince is to blame, but he can't shout blindly all over the sky, and he has an idea, "The whole city is all over the city!" King Jing of Zhongshan was very satisfied when he heard it, so he said, "Okay, this county will be called Mancheng County in the future!"

According to the administrative level of the year, above the village is the township, and above the township is the county. Dad's hometown Shouling Village, the township to which he belongs is called Shunmin Township, which also has an allusion.

It is said that it was King Jing of Zhongshan who inspected the territory and came to the original Shunmin Township. Because the mayor got the news in advance and knew that the prince was going to inspect today, he explained to all households early, and the prince came to inspect, and the etiquette that the people should follow was all rehearsed. When King Jing of Zhongshan really came, he looked at a group of people in Wuyang and Wuyang in front of the chariot, and shouted "Wang Ye Chitose Chitose Chitose Chitose", which was really moved, and he almost choked up and said: "All are flat, they are all my good Shunmin!"

Because of the long history, the villages and mountains of my father's hometown have historical allusions, some of which are related to historical celebrities, and some are related to mythological stories. When I was a child, I always heard my dad talk about it, and it naturally aroused a lot of interest. So every time my dad wants to take me home for the New Year, I'm happy.

We rushed all the way on the aircraft, and above the altitude of 10,000 meters, we could see the white clouds under our feet, because it was winter, looking down on the earth, looking at the vastness. As we headed west, the sun was shining from the east, and we could see the golden light of the clouds in front of us. I looked at this magnificent natural wonder, and my chest was full of pride, and I said to myself, "When will I be able to soar between the heavens and the sky like this flying machine, thousands of rivers and mountains, and flutter my sleeves, how easy it will be!"

After his death, Liu Sheng, the king of Zhongshan, was buried on a hill in the southwest of the county, which was originally called Yugui Mountain, so it was renamed Lingshan.

In 1968, when Sino-US relations were at their most stale, in order to prepare for the atomic bombing by the United States, the country launched a campaign of "digging deep holes and accumulating grain". Bomb shelters are being secretly dug all over the country. It was at this time that Lingshan was excavated.

According to the older generation, when the tombs were first excavated, there were many information agencies inside, and many of the first batch of PLA soldiers who entered the cemetery died, and because there was no sense of protection, many of the burial goods in the tombs were damaged at the beginning.

Later, the leaders of the unit realized the seriousness of the matter and urgently reported it to the State Council. It was Premier Zhou who personally instructed the famous archaeologist Guo Moruo to come to the site to excavate and identify. In the end, it was concluded that this was the burial place of Liu Sheng, the king of Zhongshan in the Western Han Dynasty, and then the tomb of his wife Dou Juan was excavated next to it.

The two tombs have excavated a total of many precious cultural relics, such as: golden jade clothes, wrong Jin Bo mountain furnace, Changxin Palace lamp, etc., it is said that at that time, film exhibitions were carried out in various surrounding villages, causing a sensation throughout the country.

The excavation of the Han tomb was just an accident, and there were indeed a lot of air-raid shelters excavated on the mountain at that time, and my father basically drilled everything that could be drilled into it when he was a child.
