CHAPTER XXXI
At seven o'clock the next day, while the two were having breakfast, Snape handed Sally a box.
"This is ... Is it a birthday present?" Sally was puzzled at first, then overjoyed. "Let me see what it is. β
When she opened the box, she saw a small four-pointed star-shaped object inside, and she couldn't tell what it was. She glanced at Professor Snape quizzably, "What is this?"
"Just put it away. Snape was still drinking his coffee, looking at the Daily Prophet calmly, and said, "It's a good thing." β
This should be true. Sally was thinking about where to put her things when the owl, which had been orange, flew in. Curious, Sally took off the package and fed it some bread crumbs and water, and it spread its wings and flew away after eating gracefully.
"A gift from Malfoy. Sally said in surprise, "I thought we had broken up, I didn't see him once when I was in the hospital last time." Oh, a beautiful bracelet. β
Sally looked at Malfoy's letter: Sally, I don't know if this gift will reach you on time, after all, my father and I are on vacation in the United States right now, there are many magical and practical things here, I think this storage bracelet is best for your birthday, although it only has a small space. I wish you a fast birthday and look forward to seeing you soon.
"Storage bracelets. Sally exclaimed, she gently put the bracelet on her hand, stroked the button, and sure enough, a virtual space appeared, and she dropped the gift from Professor Snape and the key to Gringotts that both she and Harry had, and with another touch of the button, the space was gone.
"What a good thing. Sally said happily. Professor Snape resisted telling Sally that the price of this good thing could be the cruel thing of ten years of income for an average family. He drank his coffee and sent him and Harry to the car they were going to sit in, and then returned.
"Are you ready?" he said to Sally.
When they moved into Aunt Penny's clean living room, they apparently frightened everyone. Sally noticed that her aunt's family was dressed very formally today, as seen in the bow tie under DalΓ's Nth chin.
"I'll wait for you outside. Snape apparently disliked the family so much that he turned around and disappeared into the living room, and soon after he disappeared, he heard a strange woman's voice from the kitchen, "Penny, I heard a strange voice, did I hear it wrong?
She apparently saw Sally when she came out of the kitchen, and she asked suspiciously.
"Another child of my sister's family. Aunt Penny laughed dryly. She was especially glad that Maggie was in the kitchen the moment Sally appeared out of thin air, otherwise everything would have been in vain.
"Your obnoxious sister. Maggie's features were wrinkled. In saying that, she didn't just leave a scourge behind. β
Harry, who had just carried Aunt Maggie to the upper room, had apparently heard this, and he trotted two steps in disbelief to see Sally standing in the middle of the living room.
"Sally!" he exclaimed in surprise. Just as I was about to come and give her a hug, I heard Aunt Maggie say coldly, "There is no child with a father and mother, and there is really no upbringing." β
"So this aunt is an orphan. Sally said with a smile on her face, "Otherwise, how could no one tell you what the word upbringing means." β
"How dare you!" Apparently few people would disobey her, and she suddenly became angry, "You little... β
"Watch your words. Sally's face turned completely cold, her wand was not on her body, but that didn't mean she couldn't teach the sow a lesson, and she didn't need to be told who she was, and judging by her exact figure like Aunt Vernon, she could guess it all the time.
"You have taught me a lesson. "Why can't I teach you?" said Sally, "because you are one of the few sows who can speak?"
"You!" said Aunt Maggie's face flushed, and at some point an old and ugly pit bull sprang out from her feet, barking at Sally.
"Okay, okay, everyone, calm down. "Aunt Petunia was obviously jealous of the man who had just sent Sally, and since he could appear in her living room out of thin air, it meant that he, unlike the two children, could use magic outside of school.
Harry then quietly tugged at Sally's sleeve, and Sally looked at him, and he shook his head slightly. Sally held back a breath and glared at Maggie again, following Harry back to their room.
"This obnoxious woman. As soon as Sally entered the room, she said in an airy manner, "How can you talk... β
"It's good to get used to it. Harry said, "Are you staying here? You know, I'm going to put up with her for a week." β
"No, I'll leave in a moment. Sally said. "You should teach her some lessons. β
"Let's not say we can't use magic outside of school, the last time I was warned about the elves. And you look at this. Harry pulled out the Hogwarts letter from the box on the side, "If I want to go to Hogsmeade with you, I'm going to find a way to get Aunt Vernon to sign it here." He had promised me that if I didn't reveal my identity in front of Aunt Maggie, he would sign it for me. β
"Poor Harry. Sally said. "Hopefully I didn't cause you any trouble this time. β
"It doesn't look like it's there yet, how did you get here?"
"Hmmm... Because I'm going to Thailand for a vacation, I stopped by. She had intended to tell Harry that her godfather was Snape, but since Harry hadn't seen Professor Snape, she had put that back on the plan.
"I envy you ... Harry said.
"I'll send you photos. Sally hurriedly changed the subject, "That's right, it's your birthday present." See if you like it or not. β
Harry opened the vellum wrap and was surprised to find that it was a small Quidditch pitch.
"The latest toys. Sally said, "You can direct the team inside, but you can't play until school because it seems to require some magic." You can also play against each other, maybe you can look into it with Ron. β
"It's amazing. Harry said heartily, "It's a pity I can't play now, otherwise my life would have been much better." By the way, Hermione and Ron sent your gift here, and they probably still think we live together. And my gifts, um... I hope you don't dislike it. β
Hermione's Gift is a book on how to transform costumes and accessories, and if you learn how to do it, you can wear several pieces of clothing. Ron's gift to Sally was the same as Harry's, a speculum. Harry's gift to Sally was a silver headband.
"Does it look good?" Sally tied the headband into her hair and showed it to Harry.
"Good looking. Harry said sincerely. The clock outside struck ten times, and when it was time for Sally and Snape to agree, the two reluctantly said goodbye, and when they walked down the stairs, they were not surprised to see Aunt Maggie again. Thinking of Harry's situation, Sally decided to take a deep breath and walk straight out. But apparently she doesn't mess with people, and someone always messes with her, and Aunt Maggie's leper dog is blocked at the gate, just lying like that, not moving at all.
"Go, go. Harry tried to chase him away, but the dog not only wouldn't listen, but he also threatened to bite Harry.
"Old Lippi has been with me for a long time. Aunt Maggie suddenly said, "It is the dog that knows my heart best, and in my eyes it is more likable than some." β
Sally sneered inwardly and looked at Aunt Petunia and Aunt Vernon, who obviously wanted Sally to leave as soon as possible, but couldn't do it too obviously.
"Maggie, let that kid go, the province is here to make us not happy to talk. Uncle Vernon said tentatively.
"You're just too kind, Vernon. Aunt Maggie said dissatisfiedly, "For this kind of child, she must always be taught some lessons." β
"And what lesson do you want to teach me?" Sally walked towards Aunt Maggie's table, and Dali looked at her oozing smile and couldn't help but run to the side on two fat legs, and continued to watch the show.
βγγγ Aunt Maggie didn't speak, for Sally picked up a knife they had buttered and wiped it with Aunt Penny's white tablecloth.
"Say yes. Sally held her cleanly wiped knife between her and Aunt Maggie, and looked at her, "What do you want to teach me a lesson?" β
"You, you, you can't do this to me. Aunt Maggie said intermittently.
"Why not?"
"Murder is a prison sentence. Aunt Maggie exclaimed, and then she felt a little more confident. "That's right, murder is a prison sentence!"
"It's really not worth going to jail for someone like you. Sally said, taking the knife, walked to the hallway, and pointed the knife at the old dog standing in front of the door, "But you can't kill the dog." I'll give you three numbers, and if you don't let this dog out of here, this knife will stick somewhere on it. β
"You don't dare... β
"Three, two," Sally didn't mean to count slowly, and Aunt Maggie got up from her stool and cried out, "Lippi, come here!"
When the old dog heard Aunt Maggie bark like this, he immediately got up and trotted to Aunt Maggie's lap.
"What a heartfelt dog. Sally said, "Why did you follow such a bastard master?" β
She threw her knife on the shoe rack with a crisp sound. Aunt Maggie couldn't help but shake all over, and picked up Lippi and didn't dare to say anything.
"Harry, I'm coming to see you in a few days!" Sally said deliberately loudly. Without glancing at the rest of the people in the house, he walked straight out.
Snape waited under a tree in the doorway, saw her come out, and said, "You're late." β
"Met a nasty person, plus some accidents happened. Sally wasn't going to go into details, and Snape obviously didn't want to ask. At this time, a car stopped at the intersection.
"Shall we go in this car?" said Sally, curious.
"Make this car first, and then change it to the place. Snape said. Sally walked ahead, so he didn't see Snape glancing at Aunt Vernon's house with a grim face, where he was standing and could clearly see everything that was going on inside through the glass.
Shortly after they left, Aunt Penny's well-tidied garden and the decades-old tree were burned to the ground by a fire of unknown cause, which was thought to have ignited some flammable material due to the fact that the weather was too dry.
