Chapter 14: The Journey

Ice field, full of mythology. In the snowstorm, the crystal blue leaves mixed with the crystal snow sprinkled with rippling light.

Mammoths trudge across the ice of frozen rivers, picking up snow-blue leaves swept off the ice with their long trunks. The heavy body is walking on thin ice. The ice cracked in the tremors. In an instant, the mammoth disappeared without a trace.

In such a cold season, the orcs can no longer rely on their fur for warmth. They are used as decorations to attract the opposite sex and intimidate powerful enemies. The orcs put on the fur of other beasts to protect themselves from the cold, put on boots made of bark, and as for food, they had to hunt mammoths, who cut down ten-meter-long trees and sharpened their ends, so as to deal with mammoths with thick skin and flesh. It is often the pregnant female elephant that dies.

But the mighty mammoth herd will not let its companions die in vain. The mammoth herd trampled to death and injured too many hunters, and the orcs suffered heavy casualties as a result.

The fur of the mammoth was made into a bed by the orc. The mammoth fur lying underneath is a bunk, with two layers of fur sewn together and covered the body, called a cover.

The queen had a very good bed. The cover is white fur, and the cover is golden. You know, mammoths with golden fur are rare, and generally elephants have red fur. When the red one is pressed in the snow, it will dissolve into a puddle.

After eating the meat, the orcs mixed the elephant's blood with warm water, drank it to their stomachs to keep them warm, and survived this difficult day, and when there was no elephant blood, the bones boiled in the pot were already crispy, and they drank the soup while grinding the bones with their fangs.

If they can't even gnaw on the bones, they will only nibble on an ice grass like a zebra, and the crunchy taste is cold and bitter. The hungry orcs made an appointment to fish together.

As soon as the fluorescent fish crosses Anlan's glacier, the river freezes again. So when the partner in the ice was about to fill the fish in his mouth, it was already a statue. The clever orcs retrieved their companion's corpse and cut it into pieces of flesh and put it in the pot. The stronger orcs kill the old orcs to fill their bellies. Faced with a lack of food, the queen was also helpless.

In the snow, unidentified giant creatures have left huge footprints. The accompanying wizard intends to use a piece of ice to predict the bad luck. Unexpectedly, I saw a giant ape through the ice chips, with long white fur covering its tall body.

It is the ruler of the ice, the giant white ape. You can rarely find its footprints, but its power and speed are unmatched.

The giant ape pounced, grabbed the orc's hair, or neck, or legs, and lifted the entire orc up and threw it out. One by one, the orcs flew in the sky with the butterflies.

He fell into a puddle of snow and was buried alive.

Where the snow is a little shallower, the orcs are spared.

Later, the queen ordered the wounded and retreating orcs to gather together and throw their spears.

The great ape stands in the snow. The thick and huge palms beat the chest rhythmically.

When a spear pierced the muscles of its legs, the white ape let out a terrified howl, accompanied by the heavy steps of the mammoth in panic. The unprecedented shock caused an avalanche. The misguided mammoths and orcs will be buried.

The giant ape emerged from the snow and continued to leave footprints and shed blood in the endless snowfield.

But there was still a group of adult mammoths that got their wish. When they reach the humid and warm rainforest, they suck in murky water with their long noses and sprinkle mud on themselves, waiting for the heavy rain to wash it away.

The arrival of the mammoth took over the territory, and the heavy soles of their feet sank into the mud, trampling many loach snakes to death. Adult loach snakes are about the size of a python, with vestigial scales secreting mucus, and a sucker-like mouth squeezed out of the paws of mammoths.

The rhinoceros is the only behemoth that can compete with mammoths for territory, and the sound they make is like that of a baby crying. For rhinos, this is a fertile season, and to reproduce their offspring needs to have their own territory, so they start fighting for territory. They dive into the shimmering water, stabbing the mammoth's leg with their sharp horns, and the frightened fluorescent fish leaps out of the water, revealing a multitude of lights. In the midst of the odds, the mammoth fights back by rolling up a stake with its trunk. A battered mammoth or rhinoceros would fall into the murky water, and half of its massive body would sink into the mud and never be able to stand up again. At this time, the crocodile waiting for food suddenly poured out of the water, and among the ripples on the surface of the water, opened its bloody mouth and bit the mammoth's thigh. Tearing off a piece of meat, the injured rhinoceros is even more vulnerable.

Crocodiles gather together to share the dead rhinos and mammoths. Brave orcs will also snatch a piece of fat from under the crocodile's mouth.

Such a bloodshed will not last long, and eventually, rhinos and mammoths will have their own territory. Not far away, a male mammoth rides a female elephant with its tail whipped like a whip on the water, stirring and muddy. Two males are locked in the mud and fight for a herd of females.

In this estrus day, the orcs began to find a place to live in the rainforest and multiply. The cry of the baby beast began to sound in the rainforest.
