Chapter 11 Desert
Because of the change of seasons, the world suddenly fell into a long night, and the moving light that lingered among the dead grass and bushes and the dense luminous bodies in the wind were all insects, and the long night was a world of insects. The grasslands are no longer suitable for ancient giant creatures, and mammoths have to migrate to tropical rainforests suitable for their survival and reproduction before the upcoming estrus season. Due to the scarcity of food, the wise queen decided to follow the mammoth to migrate her people. The entire orc tribe will embark on a long journey through deserts and ice into the rainforest.
The queen was the first to lead her people into this foreign land. The endless desert, including the confusion that fell into the sky, is all colorful.
You can close your eyes and imagine. In the hazy sky, the islands of guano clouds glow in constellations, and the thin colorful sand waddles in the sky and among the clouds. Falling on the desert, it is clear that the colorful area, like a rainbow belt, take one step, is the yellow sand, walk two steps, flow through the purple sand. Three steps, four steps, five steps, black and white, blue, red, basket.
The heat of dusk and the bitter cold of the night made the orcs frequently take off and put on those thick decorations. The orcs' clothes and fur were full of grains of sand of distinct colors. The worst thing is the water, which they are looking for in a daze.
In the vast desert, orcs can often see oases. It was a picture of fluctuations. Inside, the sky is filled with static clouds and smoke like fire. The red halo was flooded with colorful graffiti lifted by the wind. This has exposed a cracked mud bed of what was once a meandering river.
Herds of reindeer, mammoths, zebras...... Forming a long line of people migrating along the dry riverbed.
A small zebra ran alone to a puddle in the middle of the river, it was so thirsty, and it was the first to find it. Therefore, it is hungry and thirsty, and wants to enjoy it alone, and plans to summon its companions from afar after it has drunk its fill.
The little zebra didn't know it was a snake hole. The snake, which can swallow a mammoth, likes to dig a hole up to 100 meters deep at the bottom of the riverbed. So the little zebra went down the puddle and disappeared.
The sight of the picture brought hope to the orcs, who were hungry and thirsty, but still struggled to walk, but as they walked farther and farther and more tired, the picture that was close at hand was still far away.
It's too far away, a group of orcs, but the footprints of the deep sand are already sparse. The fallen companions, no longer rising, they could not stand up, and the queen allowed the strong orcs to kill the fallen companions and drink blood to quench their thirst. In doing so, the strong survived for the time being.
There are also dangerous predator sharks on the desert continent. Ignorance led this group of stupid orcs to think that there were no ferocious beasts in the empty desert. When a huge jet of water erupted in the distance, the thirsty orcs rushed up excitedly. Unbeknownst to them, it was the bait of the shark, and they were burying themselves in the belly of the fish step by step.
The surviving orcs drank the water that squirted out. but buried in the sand.
Sharks swim in the flowing sand. The shark opened a huge mouth in the sand, tearing the immobile orc in two. Blood was pouring from the white sand. A lot of feet began to run in a panic. The calm queen sat on the back of the panicked mammoth and said to all the orcs, "Run, keep going." ”
When disaster strikes, fate often dooms you to no escape. Many huge basins of blood came out of the quicksand, biting the escaping feet and pulling the live prey into the sand. An orc with a broken leg crawled cautiously on the sand, listening intently to the sound of flesh rubbing against the sand under the quicksand. There is also the sound of sharks piercing through the sand. The orc quickened its crawling pace, but the blood from its wounds still attracted death, and a huge mouth snatched its head away, and the empty body fell on the dune, and the sand flowed, slowly sinking the prey.
The orcs buried alive could no longer struggle. The sand blocked the air, and it was all in vain. The suffocating orcs died at the last moment with their mouths shut. Its stomach also atrophied spasmodically in the belly. A dead stomach will be digested by a living stomach.
The skeleton rat relied on its keen sense of smell to quickly reach in the sand. In fact, it was looking for the roots of insects and cacti, but it did not expect to have an unexpected harvest.
The skullcap dropped a bubble of urine and hurried away. The smell of urine tells every skeleton rat that passes through the area that the corpse has its owner.
The wind blew up the sand, revealing a skeleton of white bones. The queen and her people bid farewell to the spirits of the dead in the wind and sand, and continue on their way.
The scorpion that emerges from the sand cracks open the skull's skull with pincers and begins to take over the skull's territory.
