Chapter 12: The Hunter

Between the desert and the ice is a narrow green space that gives the tired orcs a respite. They have to survive for several long days and nights in this narrow green area before moving on.

At night, the tired orcs slept, alert only with their noses and ears. But there is one animal, a very small animal, that they have nothing to do.

It is a mosquito, and the blood-sucking needle emits a crystal blue light, and swarms of mosquitoes move subtly to envelop it. The sky is blue, and there are "white clouds".

Swollen sheep are much fatter than sheep, and it should be said that they are a kind of sheep that is as fat as a pig. The reason for raising swollen sheep was that this clumsy and weak animal was easy to catch, and there were too many of them to catch them alive, and when they could not finish eating, they were kept in the grass with wooden fences, and over time, the orcs found that they would no longer suffer from hunger when they found nothing, so a large number of breeding began. That's enough food for the orcs.

"Hunting is no longer predation, but a war against beasts. The elder said to his children who had begun their nomadic life.

In nature, animals have their own territory, even a hamster, and the nomadic expansion of the alien orcs encroaches on the lands of the indigenous orcs. The Elder kept nagging all the orcs to be vigilant, and the danger had never been as terrible as this one. The slain orcs were eaten like hunted prey, and the bloody flesh remained, leaving only a pile of bones and bloody heads, miserable. The queen suspects that the victim died in a trap for the Eater tribe. The Eaters were a barbaric tribe of orcs that the queen called "Hunters." ”

The trap was laid by the hunters, and in a deep hole there were sharp and slender flakes of grass and prickly cacti balls.

The hunter himself used his own bait to lure a koala into feasting. But it attracted two intruders. They fell into a trap, their slender spears piercing the chest of an orc.

The hunter leaned down and picked up a spear from the ground and pierced the other orc's abdomen. A few more stabs. Blood splattered onto the hunter's face, and then down his cheek to his mouth. The hunter stuck out his tongue and licked it.

The hunter waits until the carcass of his prey stiffens before pulling them up.

When the horn sounds, all the adult males have to line up to fight. Even while hunting, the hunters will give up this hard-won meal and ride their dogs back to the tribe to assemble. Leave the meal to the wild wolf hiding in the grass and drooling, with a pair of bright eyes.

Clash is inevitable, with the orcs of the two races vying for every small piece of territory, and stupid animals killing each other in a narrow space.

At the beginning of the bloodshed, it was all hand-to-hand combat, getting closer, swinging weapons. Kill. It is better to kill at once and poke the opponent's throat with a spear.

The attacking hunter wields a rock club, dodging the occasional spear thrown from the front. Forge ahead until a spear reaches its chest. The captives did not show weakness either, and committed suicide by hitting their heads against stones, bursting out their brains.

Later, a dozen strong hunters surrounded me. They tried to capture me alive.

After a long stalemate, I decided to break through. I rushed up and knocked one out with one punch. Instead, the downed hunter grabbed me by the leg and threw me to the ground. Then, the messy tip of the spear plunged into the grass. And the fallen paws. I rolled my body to dodge. Roll down the hill and down the slope. All the way into the lake.

On the shore, they all stopped. I don't know why? Then I learned they were going to watch me get eaten by the monsters in the lake. The lake belonged to a behemoth, and no one had ever seen a monster before, because everyone who witnessed it died. The shadows in the lake and the howls in the deep lake seem to confirm its real existence.

I nervously looked at the dozen or so hunters on the shore, and then at the calm of the lake in the distance.

The dark green surface of the lake makes it impossible to see the fear that lurks underwater. No one could have imagined that a catastrophe would befall them.

The earth shook violently suddenly, and after several shakings, a wide gap split between the shore and the lake, and the gap was soon filled with the lake's water. The hunters on the shore had no time to flee and fell into the abyss. Once again, a great tremor struck. Then countless scattered stones slid into the abyss. Under the rocks piercing the air, the churning lake water crashed and splashed with big waves.

After choking on several mouthfuls of water, I grabbed a dead tree and surfaced. In the distance, in the lake, stood a giant beast.

It resembles a giant winged lizard, its giant palate spreading, and the saliva that slipped between its fangs merged into an acid rain. The dripping fell on the dead wood, and the wood burned holes, and then my ugly face was burned after the rain.

The monster's giant wings form a tornado. He caused the tide to ripple over me, who had fallen unconscious, far away.

"How nice it would be for me to have that monster. "The queen was in the distance, admiring the disaster.
