Verse 36: All the stars fall in my heart
It was an amazing experience, and Norman felt like he had stepped out of his bedroom into a whole new world.
As Benjamin Franklin said, there is a sky in this world: if you look up, you can see that the vast night sky is above, dotted with many stars, but compared to the whole night sky, these bright stars are still too few.
This is obviously his subtitle galaxy.
"Why is it so thin?"
Norman was a little puzzled.
After two days of studying a lot of ancient languages, he thought that he had almost learned the ancient language, but judging from the subtitles, it seems that what he has learned is only a small part, and there are no stars in the large night sky.
How many old sayings are there......
After looking at the starry sky, Norman looked to the ground, but this time it was different from what Franklin had said.
He didn't see the sea of magic that Franklin was talking about, all he saw was a cracked earth.
The vast expanse of the earth caved in a ring towards the center, and the huge cracks in the ground stretched out infinitely from the center in all directions, and they were constantly intertwined, like a huge spider's web from the air where Norman was now.
Not to mention the sea, not a drop of water can be seen.
In the center of the earth's deepest recess, there is a pillar that reaches into the sky.
The pillar was as thick as five or six people hugging each other, saying that the tower was not big enough, and that the pillar was too small, so they plunged into the earth and went straight up into the sky with no end in sight.
This is what Franklin called the Tower of Babel.
Although there was an accident and I didn't see the Sea of Magic, this should indeed be the meditation space that Franklin was talking about.
Did he really go straight into the meditation space without signing a contract with the gods? What the notebook said was true, but why did Franklin say that he and his mage friends had tried it and it didn't work?......
Norman had a lot of things to figure out at once.
He didn't know that the method of entering the meditation space recorded in this notebook required extremely strong spiritual power to open the meditation space, and the spiritual power of ordinary people who had never cultivated was far from this strength, and they needed to enter the meditation space and cultivate for a certain period of time to achieve this intensity, which formed an unsolvable paradox - without cultivation, it was impossible to open the meditation space with this method, but without opening the meditation space, it was impossible to cultivate spiritual power.
Franklin and his fellow mage apprentices are a group of people who have not been able to sign a contract with the gods, and they have not cultivated, so their spiritual power is actually no different from that of ordinary people, and naturally they cannot use this method to enter the meditation space, so they think that this method is not feasible.
But Norman was different.
Norman has experienced more than ten years of torture since he was a child, and those voices have been arguing and torturing him all the time, but at the same time, they have also invisibly exercised his mental power, which has already made his mental power far better than ordinary people, so he can resist the voices that have been ringing in his heart without being crazy, and even fall asleep under those noisy sounds, which is not something ordinary people can do. And it is precisely because of this kind of spiritual power that is far superior to ordinary people that Norman can enter the meditation space so easily in this way.
But Norman didn't know all this, he only knew that he couldn't figure out why he thought about it for a long time, so he simply didn't want to think about it.
I've seen what it's like in the meditation space, and I don't know what I'm supposed to do here, so it's not a matter to just stare at it, so Norman wanted to leave, but at this time he discovered something very important.
He just saw how he got in, but he didn't see how to leave!
"Help!"
Norman screamed bitterly.
In fact, he doesn't have a body now, just a mass of consciousness, and the so-called "shouting" is just an idea, and he can't make a real sound, so naturally no one can hear it, and it is even more impossible for anyone to really save him.
"Help, let me out!"
Norman shouted in his meditation space for a long time, and the lingua franca and the old language took turns, but it was useless, there was no response at all, and finally he had to give up.
The whole world was unusually quiet, and he was the only one......
Wait, he's the only one?
It was only then that Norman realized something he had overlooked: in this meditation space, he could no longer hear the voices of the mages who lived in his body, and he would not see a large number of ancient words in his left eye!
And this is the first time in Norman's life to experience the purity of no one in his ear, and this feeling that the whole world is quiet, is so wonderful!
The excited Norman even forgot the fact that he couldn't get out for a while, and only cared about savoring this precious quiet, and everything in the meditation space became extraordinarily beautiful in his eyes because of the joy of his mood: the earth cracked like a spider's web, the tower of Babel that went straight to heaven and earth, and the swaying subtitle galaxy, all so lovely......
A galaxy of shaking subtitles?
Norman's attention was instantly focused on the starry sky above him.
If he remembered correctly, he seemed to have seen the starry sky shaking, but how could the sky shake?
Anyway, he couldn't get out for a while, so Norman simply stared at the starry sky.
He didn't have to wait long, and finally saw the scene again.
The starry sky shook a little.
To be precise, the sky didn't move, but the stars in the sky shook. The stars seemed to be pushed forward by an invisible hand, and they all moved slightly to the side, but the force quickly disappeared, and they returned to their previous positions.
And it was with such intently observing that Norman noticed that as the stars swayed, some bright spots floated down from them.
These bright spots were like snow, but the color was much lighter, almost invisible, and if Norman hadn't been so attentive to watch now, I am afraid that he would not have been able to see them at all. They also fell much faster than snow, and in the blink of an eye, they fell from the distant starry sky to the cracked earth below, and the patches were so thin that they were almost invisible.
It's fun, it's still snowing in the meditation space!
Norman was immediately interested.
How does that star move?
Norman focused his attention on the stars, and as soon as he did, he felt a strong resistance, as if there was a wall in front of him.
Norman was unconvinced, and with a force, a thought, he finally pushed the resistance forward.
Then he saw the starry sky again the scene of the stars moving in unison.
"Again!"
As soon as Norman's mental power was not concentrated, the strong resistance "pushed" him back, and in the starry sky, those stars also returned to their original positions, and sprinkled a little starlight one after another.
After seeing this scene, Norman instantly realized.
"I see, I see!"
The resistance he felt was those stars, and when he pushed hard, he was actually pushing those stars, and when he let go of his thoughts, he would be pushed back, that is, those stars would return to their previous positions.
It's like swinging.
"Interesting!"
Norman, who had roughly figured it out, immediately went back into action.
This time he got rid of all distractions, and concentrated on pushing those stars, but the more he pushed behind, the greater the resistance, and in the end he couldn't push anymore, so he could only relax, let those stars swing back again, and then he pushed again, and then loosened, pushed again, and sent them again, and set up a swing for the stars.
At such a frequency as Norman, the stars kept falling from the sky, and they were sprinkled like snow.
These starlight are small, but they can't stand more and more of them. They accumulate on the ground, and after a while, they are connected to the real snow, and finally melt into a liquid, and flow down the sloping earth towards the root of the most central Babel Tower, but often not long after they flow out, they will be swallowed up by the ubiquitous cracks in the earth, and eventually flow to the location of the Babel Tower.
Norman, who was bent on shaking the stars and playing with all his heart, didn't notice this, he just knew that this job was so tiring!
He shook it only a dozen times or less than a hundred, but he was already exhausted, and he felt very tired mentally. In the end, he couldn't even push it, so he just wanted to find a place to sleep well.
It was also in this very mentally exhausted state that Norman suddenly opened his eyes.
He really opened his eyes, and he somehow returned to the real world from the meditation space.
After Norman left, the meditation space was quiet again, and the starry sky no longer swayed like a convulsion, and he could finally rest for a while.
After resting for a while, the starry sky vibrates again, sprinkles the starlight, then falls into silence, and after a while, it oscillates again, and so on and so forth......
