Chapter 64: Lockhart's Valentine's Day Special

Back at Hogwarts, Kevin was in a good mood. At least those gifts made him happy.

The arrival of Valentine's Day has made people's mood more optimistic. There have been no more attacks since Justin and Nick, who almost lost his head. Madam Pomfrey was pleased to report that the mandrakes had become moody and taciturn, that is, they were rapidly moving away from childhood.

Hogwarts is soaking in pink. Boys and girls release their hormones on this day, and of course Lockhart is indispensable.

Since the failure of the first Lockhart's gladiatorial club, several other gatherings have not been satisfactory either. Peeves didn't work well either: he always popped up in crowded hallways and shouted "Oh, Potter, you nasty ghost." And now with a fixed dance move.

Kevin heard Harry say that Lockhart was planning to boost everyone's morale, Kevin just rolled his eyes, it was better to boost morale than to hit morale, so that the students in the whole school knew how "powerless" Professor Lockhart was.

"He's a completely useless wizard, he can't do anything but brag!" said Young, Ginny's condition is getting worse and worse, but she is still stubborn not to go to the medical wing, and Youngen is very annoyed about it.

At breakfast on 14 February, everyone knew what Lockhart was doing to boost his morale.

When Kevin came to the Great Hall, for a moment, he thought he had gone to the wrong door.

All four walls are covered with large, dazzling pink flowers. To make matters worse, there were also heart-shaped confetti falling from the light blue ceiling.

"Oh my God!" Mike exclaimed.

Kevin watched as he walked and sat down at the Ravenclaw table, where Robert was poking the bacon on his plate with a look of disgust.

"What's going on?" Kevin asked, waving his hand away the streamers and sequins that had fallen in front of him.

Robert pointed to the teacher's table, apparently disgusted and unwilling to speak. Lockhart, dressed in a bright pink robe that matched the ornaments, waved his hand to silence everyone. The teachers sitting across from him all had straight faces. Kevin sat at the long table and saw a muscle bulge in Professor McGonagall's cheek. Professor Snape looked as if someone had just poured him a large glass of hard liquor.

"Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!" "So far, forty-six people have presented me with greeting cards, and I would like to thank them! Yes, I took it upon myself to arrange this little surprise for all of you – and that's all!"

Lockhart clapped his hands and strode through the doors leading to the foyer into twelve grim-faced dwarfs. And they were different from ordinary dwarves, Loha held them all with golden wings and harps on their backs.

"My friendly, little Eros with greeting cards!" Lockhart said beamingly, "They're going to be wandering around the school today, handing you Valentine's Day cards! And that's not all! I'm sure my colleagues are willing to join in! Why don't you ask Professor Snape to teach you how to make Ecstasy! If you're interested, Professor Flitwick is more proficient in mesmerizing magic than any wizard I've ever met, that cunning old thing!"

As soon as Lockhart's words ended, Kevin heard the sound of Robert's fork inserting into the table beside him. Most of the Ravenclaws around Kevin also stared at Lockhart with indignant eyes.

"How dare he? How could he say that about Professor Flitwick. ”

"He's just an incompetent coward!"

"He's the most cunning..."

The voice was delivered at the Ravenclaw table, Professor Flitwick, who was noble in the minds of the Ravenclaws, not only an erudite master of charms, but also a professor in charge, a respected dean.

In the immediate aftermath of the attack, Professor Flitwick took effective measures by arranging for older students to accompany the younger students and to do his best to comfort the frightened students.

Lockhart's humorous teasing angered the Ravenclaws without realizing it.

Professor Flitwick buried his face in his hands. Judging by Professor Snape's expression, it seemed that if anyone asked him how to make Ecstasy, they would be forced to inject poison.

Throughout the day, the dwarves kept breaking into their classrooms and handing out Valentine's Day cards, much to the annoyance of the teachers.

There was a little man who kept pestering Kevin, who was in a no-man's corner and froze him directly with a petrification charm, and Kevin threw him into a useless empty classroom, and the effect of the spell would last all day. Kevin then cleaned up several of the dwarves who were following him in the same way, and helped Harry clean up one, much to Harry's gratitude.

Kevin didn't have classes in the afternoon, so he hid in the Requirement Room to avoid the dwarves who didn't know whether to live or die. There, there were several studies waiting for him to complete.

Kevin was hunched over his desk in the lab where the Room of Requirement appeared, and on one side of the lab was a cage with a few Cornish elves. The purple winged elf jumps up and down in the cage and screams at Kevin. This is what Kevin caught in the Room of Requirement. It seems that they were thrown in by Lockhart after the first lesson, Kevin grabbed them and prepared to use them for experiments, goblins or something, you don't need them if you have elves.

On the other side there is a blackboard with the words "Strange Voice", "Spider Escape", "Dead Chicken...... A variety of words. Apparently the suspicions in the attack.

Kevin couldn't always tie these suspicions together.

Valentine's Day passed under Lockhart's solo show.
