Chapter 4: Tell and Wait

Amidst laughter and congratulations, Kevin celebrated his 11th birthday. Teresa and Adam invite all the children in the community to celebrate Kevin's birthday, and Kevin wishes "all the best".

The lively atmosphere faded and the children were picked up by their respective parents. Teresa and Adam cleaned up and chatted.

"For next year's birthday, shall we have a party in the courtyard?

"Yes, yes! our Kevin deserves the best!" replied Adam with a smile

Kevin looked at such a scene and hoped that it would be so warm. However, he was afraid that he would lose it all when his parents found out about the design, so he was still hesitating.

As the night passed, Kevin finished meditating as the sunlight shone through the window of Kevin's room. A faint wave of magic came, and it turned out that an owl was standing outside the window. Kevin opens the window and lets the owl into the room. Kevin opens the letter brought by the owl.

Dear Mr. Albert,

Glad you chose to attend the best magic school in all of Europe. In response to your queries, we will send a guide professor to lead you to Diagon Alley to buy the items you need, and your guide will arrive in three days. Thank you for your letter.

Minerva McGonagall

After reading the letter, Kevin fed the owl a few pieces of jerky and let it go.

Kevin took his letter of acceptance and Professor McGonagall's reply and went downstairs to the living room.

Teresa was cleaning the kitchen while Adam was sitting at the dining table reading the newspaper.

"Breakfast is on the table, Kevin, and your favorite orange juice!" Teresa reminded Kevin as she saw Kevin coming down the stairs.

Kevin walked over to the table, took a deep breath, and said to Teresa and Adam, "Mom, Dad, I have something important to tell you. ”

Teresa stepped out of the kitchen and sat down next to Adam, who put down the newspaper.

"What's the matter, Kevin?" asked Teresa softly. Adam also looked at Kevin lovingly, his eyes full of questions.

Kevin handed them the letter and motioned for them to read it. After a while, Teresa and Adam put down the letter, their faces full of seriousness.

"It's not a joke, is it? Kevin!" Adam asked

Kevin didn't answer, but opened his hand, and a flash of ice blue light flew in Kevin's hand.

"Oh my God!" Teresa exclaimed, surprised, but not afraid.

Adam and Teresa were shocked when Kevin spoke.

"Mom and Dad, I discovered when I was a kid that I had this magical ability. As he spoke, he waved his hand and shot the blue light at the orange juice on the table, which instantly froze. When Adam and Teresa were even more surprised, he continued, "I've been afraid to tell you about it, I'm afraid I'm going to lose you. After saying that, he stared at Adam and Teresa. Teresa looked at Kevin's stubborn eyes, walked up to Kevin, and hugged Kevin into his arms.

"My dear Kevin, how could we be scared? Either way, you're our treasure. Kevin's head was hot, and Adam also came over, put his palm on Kevin's head, and stroked it.

"Yes, you've always been our baby. Adam said softly.

The family sat in the living room, and under the careful questioning of Adam and Teresa, they told Adam and Teresa everything except about reincarnation.

"So, you're going to attend this Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?" asked Adam.

Kevin nodded, but didn't speak.

Adam smiled and said, "Kevin, no matter what, your mom and I support your decision. Teresa nodded softly from the side.

Kevin moistened his eyes and got up and hugged Adam and Teresa. The family looked so homely.

Teresa excitedly said, "We're going to have a wizard in our family! We're going to celebrate! Oh, and the professor, we're going to entertain him." ”

Kevin and Adam smiled as Teresa thought about today's dinner and how to greet the professor.
