Chapter 5: The Professor and Diagon Alley

Kevin's family was sitting in the living room today, except for Kevin, who was calmer, and Adam and Teresa were slightly excited.

Bang bang, bang, there was a knock on the door...

Kevin hurried to the door and opened it.

A slightly retro black dress, long brown hair tightly tied behind her head, and half-moon glasses. A slightly more serious lady stood in front of the door.

"Hello, I suppose you're little Mr. Albert, right?"

"Yes, are you a professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?"

"Oh, of course, I'm Minerva McGonagall. Deputy Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Head of Gryffindor, and Professor of Transfiguration. ”

Kevin hurriedly invited Professor McGonagall into the living room.

"Oh, hello, you're a professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, aren't you?" Adam and Theresa stood up and shook hands with Professor McGonagall.

"Yes, hello, Mr. Albert, Mrs. Albert. Professor McGonagall nodded to Adam and Teresa

"You may be seated!" the four sat down.

Adam was the first to say, "Are you really a wizard? I mean, do you really know magic?" Theresa looked at McGonagall worriedly.

"Yes!" Professor McGonagall pulled out a small black stick and turned the teacup in front of her into a rabbit, then back again.

Adam and Teresa were surprised and curious.

Kevin was pondering

The magic system of this world is really different, it can change the appearance of objects, but it cannot give life. And the mana drain is very small.

Adam and Theresa asked curiously, and Professor McGonagall patiently gave answers, and the four of them had a great conversation. The Alberts also had a first understanding of Hogwarts.

"Alright, now that you're aware of the situation, let's head to Diagon Alley in London to buy the items we need to get to Hogwarts. ”

Professor McGonagall and the Alberts drove to London in a car. On the way, Kevin asked Professor McGonagall about the principle of the magic.

Four people stood in front of a lively street. Kevin looked at the "Leaky Cauldron", a bar in front of him that looked particularly shabby.

That's broken enough, Kevin thought to himself. But I still felt the fluctuations of the magic.

Is it a stealth type of magic?

Kevin noticed that Adam and Teresa couldn't see the bar in front of them, so he shook their hands and transmitted the magic to them.

Professor McGonagall watched Kevin's movements in amazement, and noticed that Adam and Teresa could see the bar, and said to Kevin:

"There are very few Muggles your age who can master magic so skillfully. You are very talented. ”

Kevin's heart is secretly rippling, and it seems that he will hide it in the future.

The four of them walked into the bar, the dim bar, the architectural style of the last century~ some scattered customers, all brought a lot of shock to the Kevin family.

"Oh, Professor McGonagall, are you here to guide the new students?" said the old man standing at the bar to Professor McGonagall

"Yes, Tom, we need to get from you to Diagon Alley. ”

"Oh!

With that, Professor McGonagall led the Alberts through the dimly lit bar to the backyard of the bar. A small backyard with a few garbage bins piled up in the corner.

Professor McGonagall led the Alberts to a wall with a gap in it.

Professor McGonagall said to Kevin

"Remember, next time you'll be on your own. ”

Kevin nodded, staring carefully at Professor McGonagall's movements. Professor McGonagall took out her so-called wand and struck it on the bricks around the gap in order, and the bricks began to move violently, and finally formed a door that led to a very "wizard" street.

Professor McGonagall stood by the door, looked at the Alberts' surprised expressions with satisfaction, and said:

"Welcome to Diagon Alley!"

Mr. and Mrs. Albert thought to themselves

"Oh my God!

Kevin was thinking

"It's space magic, how did this happen?!"
