Chapter 33: The Monkey King

"Hanuman, you are different from me. Goldfinch sighed, "I'm not destined to be a member of the gods, but you're different. Although shaped like a beast, your father is Vayu, the great god of wind, and if you wish, you can naturally stand among the gods, proclaim yourself as a god, and enjoy eternal sacrifices. ”

"That's for later, now, tell me, where is Sukarita?"

"You haven't told me yet what you're going to repay me. ”

The ape was silent.

"Whatever you want, I can give you. ”

Garuda turned to face Magellan, who had just spoken: "Mortal, although you are a prince and noble by nature, the matter between us is not something you can deal with. ”

"It's to help me find someone, and I'm willing to pay the price. ”

Goldfinch smiled: "The important thing is not whether you are willing to pay the price, but what you have, mortal wealth means nothing to me. ”

"What do you want?"

"Something you don't have. ”

"Garuda," the ape interrupted calmly, "that has nothing to do with this mortal. ”

"Race against me. ”

Garuda laughed maniacally.

It didn't want to pay attention to the mortal, but Magellan changed his mind with just one sentence.

"Are you serious, mortal?"

"If you win, you'll tell us where that strangely named monkey is. ”

"I promise you. ”

Garuda looked up at the sky, it was an ordinary sunny day, the sky was a white blue, the clouds were dim, and the sun in the wind had no temperature.

"I'm starting to take an interest in you, mortal, and if you can really win me, I'll give you a gift worthy of this austerity. ”

"In your opinion, is this asceticism?"

The Goldfinch laughed and flapped its wings and whipped up the wind: "To do what mortals simply cannot do is to do asceticism, and because of this, you can be rewarded." ”

"See that Sara tree over there?"

Magellan turned, then nodded.

Far away on the horizon, on the top of an isolated mountain peak, there is a huge sara, so tall that it can be seen at a glance.

"If you get there before me, I'll tell Hanuman what he wants to know. ”

After saying that, Garuda flapped his wings and flew out.

It was like a golden lightning bolt, with a terrifying wind, that rose into the sky, tore through the white clouds, and then turned in the direction of the target.

Then Magellan also rushed out.

The ape tried to stop it, but it couldn't, it didn't believe that mortals could outmaneuver Garuda, it was just a prank of the Goldfinch.

But when it turned its face, Magellan was already standing under the saloa tree.

When the goldfinch and the ape, which possessed terrifying powers, fell into surprise, Magellan was in memory, and he gently placed his hand on the trunk of the tree, and then a large hole in the shape of a palm slowly appeared.

This is the power that Magellan has now, he once had doubts, he doesn't know how strong his power is, but now it seems that it is stronger than Garuda.

Thinking so, Magellan smiled wryly.

"I'm surprised, mortal. ”

Garuda fell to the tree with a strong wind, stood on the horizontal branches of the saloa tree, and looked down at Magellan under the tree.

"You win, I'll tell Hanuman what it wants to know. ”

"Thank you. ”

Garuda flapped his wings and fell to the ground, looking at Magellan's face.

"We'll see you again soon. ”

Then the goldfinch flew into the sky and disappeared into the sky.

Its voice was like thunder, coming from the sky, echoing across the wilderness: "Valley of fine wine!"

The ape came running wild and stopped in front of Magellan.

"You actually won Garuda. ”

"Go find Sukaripha, I'm in a hurry. ”

The ape seemed to want to say something, but eventually nodded, "Let's go." ”

A man and a monkey ran wildly through the mountains and forests, and they went on a rampage like mad elephants, smashing all the trees they came across, and heading straight for the place Garuda had pointed.

Soon, Magellan smelled a strong smell of wine.

It was a valley from which a clear stream flowed, and from a distance the bright fruit of the fruit trees could be seen, and surprisingly, there didn't seem to be many animals in the valley.

The ape stopped at the entrance to the valley, transformed from a beast back into a son of the gods, and walked in upright like a human.

Then Magellan heard a roar.

The ape stretched out its arms and opened its chest in an instant, as if seizing a huge space in an instant, and then it rushed out.

There was a huge collision, like a boulder crashing on the ground in a landslide, and two identical beasts were fighting each other at a terrifying speed before Magellan's eyes, they were twin brothers and two apes, like winds from different directions converging and rolling up countless dust.

Magellan stood quietly and watched, waiting for the battle to end, which was not dangerous.

Soon, the two apes, who seemed to never tire of it, stopped, and they showed their true natures without hesitation, and sat on all fours on the grass.

"I thought you were dead, Hanuman. ”

"I thought you were dead, Sukaripa too. ”

"Bolin expelled me from the colony, and now I'm just a wild monkey. ”

Hanuman stood up, like a human, and its face regained its composure.

"I will still keep my word, and as a minister, I advise you to ally with that mortal, this is a rare opportunity, if you still want to become the Monkey King. ”

"What does he want? I have nothing. ”

The other ape, Sukaripa Sulliva, smelling of alcohol, glanced up at Magellan, who was standing on the side.

"No one knows where the Demon King's Ranga City is, and even I can't find it, but if it's a group of monkeys, as long as it's in the mountains and forests, there's nothing to hide. ”

It's a subtle threat, and Magellan must help the apes if he wants to find his target.

"I will help you become the Monkey King. ”

"Before you say anything big, you should think about why Hanuman didn't kill Bolin himself. The drunken ape spat at Magellan, it didn't seem to have lost its mind, at least it spoke logically and methodically, "The monkey king is strong, at least neither I nor Hanuman combined can defeat it, as for you, a mortal ......"

"If I kill the Monkey King, you'll be the new Monkey King, right?"

Sukaripa looked at Magellan in surprise and nodded suspiciously.

"If you're the Monkey King, you can let the monkeys search for the Demon King's city and find the person I'm looking for, right?"

The ape nodded again.

"Where's the Monkey King?"

After a brief silence, Sukaripa laughed.
