Heaven and Earth Immortals are both Dao systems, so naturally they should share hardships, advance and retreat together, connect branches with the same qi, and work together. Weichen asked His Majesty to abandon his past suspicions with all the earth immortals, further strengthen cooperation, and achieve a win-win situation. ”

A monk replied: "The mage has been living in a prosperous place, so naturally he has never seen any demons and monsters. To tell you the truth, even in our territory of the Tang Dynasty, where there are lofty mountains and few people, there are also man-eating demons. ”

Xuanzang said in his heart: "It's over, it's over, this time I was pitted by the Buddha again." But then I thought about it, and remembered that the Bodhisattva once said that the Buddha with great powers still has many follow-up methods, so I felt a lot more at ease.

So he said to the monks: "What's the use of saying this now? The king of Tang Jinkou issued a decree ordering me to go west to learn scriptures, and this is a holy decree! Even if there are many demons and monsters in front of me? ”

After hearing this, the monks also felt reasonable, so they suggested: "Since the Venerable Master has decided to go west, you should go to the Buddha and make a big vow, believing that the Buddha will bless you." ”

Xuanzang felt reasonable, so he went to the main hall and bowed to the Buddha: "Disciple Chen Xuanzang, go to the west to learn scriptures, and on the way, you may encounter many difficulties and obstacles. I vow now: But along the way, I burn incense in the temple and sweep the tower when I meet it. I hope that my Buddha will be merciful and bless me to obtain the true scriptures as soon as possible and leave them on to the eastern soil. ”

However, he also knew that this was impossible, because as long as he left the border of the Tang Dynasty, he would not have this treatment.

Not long after he left, he arrived at Hezhou Wei again, which was already the border area of the Tang Dynasty. The general soldiers on the edge of the town also got the news and greeted Xuanzang and the three of them to fast and rest.
