Chapter 289: Dragon Shadow (Part II)

"Spear, spear!" Wade shouted.

Hubble grabbed the spear, but he didn't have enough time to adjust it to clip it under his armpit.

It doesn't matter, though.

Although the blue dragon hovered in the sky, he still did not see them.

The quesa burst out of the clouds and lowered the altitude behind them. Then, like a bronze flame, the young dragon rushed towards their leader.

It was a blue dragon with a blue helmet on its back.

Quesa glided swiftly and quietly, stretching out four sharp claws and striking with all his might!

The force of the impact caused Hubble to slide forward on the saddle. Wade fell on his head and nearly squashed him.

Hubble struggled to sit up straight, but Wade hugged him tightly with a hand.

The other hand was tapping on the dwarf's helmet, and Wade was trying to cheer for Quesa.

"Great, hit again!" the Kand screamed, pounding Hubble's head in excitement.

Hubble shouted in dwarven language and threw Wade away.

At that moment, Kesa climbed vertically, and before the blue dragons had time to react, they hurriedly hid in another cloud.

Quesa waited for a moment, perhaps to regain his composure for the frightened knight.

Hubble sat up straight, and Wade hugged the dwarf tightly.

He felt that Hubble looked a little weird, his face was a little gray, and he was in a trance.

But this is no ordinary experience, Wade reminded himself.

Before he could ask Hubble if he was unwell, Quesa burst out of the clouds again.

Wade could see the blue dragon underneath.

The lead dragon had climbed into the air, gliding with huge wings spread.

The blue dragon looked a little surprised, and he was also painted;

There were bloodstains on the back of the dragon's body, where Quesa's sharp claws pierced through his hard scales.

The dragon and the blue-helmeted knight scanned the sky for their attackers. Suddenly, the knight pointed to the sky.

Wade ventured back and saw a startling sight.

The sight was spectacular.

The Blue Light Dragons and Silver Dragons of the Holy White Stone Wyvern Force screamed in the sunlight and flew towards this group of blue dragons.

The blue dragons immediately scattered and flew away, trying to gain altitude on the one hand, and throwing off the pursuers behind them on the other.

The battle immediately began in the air.

A blue dragon flew up on the right, and the lightning flashed, making the Kander people dazzled.

The dragon screamed and fell, its head scorched and black smoke emitting.

Wade saw the knight scream with his mouth open, but he couldn't hear it from this distance, and they smashed helplessly into the grassland below.

Wade watched the ground get closer and closer, and couldn't help but fantasize about what it would be like to fall to death on the grassland.

But he didn't have much time to fantasize, because Quesa suddenly let out a loud roar.

The blue dragon who led the team spotted Kesa and heard his challenge.

The blue dragon and his knight, ignoring the other melee in the sky, flew up to continue the fight they had just had.

"It's your turn now, dwarf!" the spear is located!" Kessa shouted.

Spreading its huge wings, the glaucoma dragon kept climbing upward, on the one hand, it was high, it was easy to attack, and on the other hand, it gave the dwarves a chance to prepare.

"I'll hold the reins!" called Wade.

But the Kander weren't sure if Hubble had heard it.

The dwarf's expression was stiff, and his movements were slow and mechanical.

Wade, who was extremely impatient, could not do anything at this moment, he could only look at Hubble's gray fingers, slowly adjusting the spear.

Finally, I clamped it under my armpit and held it.

Then he just stared ahead, no expression on his face.

Quesa continued to fly upwards and then to the flank, and Wade looked around, wondering where the enemy had gone.

He couldn't see the blue dragon and the knight at all. Suddenly Kesa climbed up, and Wade was taken aback and found that the enemy was right in front of them!

He saw the blue dragon open its big ugly mouth, its fangs holding saliva.

Wade remembered their deadly thunder and lightning and quickly ducked behind the shield.

Then he noticed that Hubble was still with his back straight, his head peeking out of his shield, staring blankly at the approaching blue dragon!

Wade reached into Hubble's waist and grabbed the dwarf's beard, pulling his head off and hiding behind the shield.

There was a flash of lightning, and thunder rumbled around it.

The thunder and impact nearly knocked out both the Kand and the dwarves.

Quesa yelled in pain, still staying on the course.

The two dragons collided head-on, and the dragon slayer spear plunged into each other's bodies.

For a moment, Wade could only see confusing red and blue.

The world was spinning around him without stopping. A dragon's eyes glared at him resentfully.

With a wave of his claws, Kesa screamed in pain, and the blue dragon also received a blow.

The two dragon's wings flaid, struggling to fall, the ground spinning before his eyes.

Why doesn't Firelight let go?

Wade thought busily. Then he saw that the dragon slayer didn't hit the target. The spear plunged into the blue dragon's wing joints, into his shoulder.

The blue dragon hurriedly tried to break free, and the enraged Kesa was attacking his enemies frantically with his fangs and claws.

Both dragons were so engrossed in each other's fights that they completely forgot about the knights on their backs.

Wade also forgot that there was another enemy.

Until he looked up helplessly—he saw the officer in the blue helmet, carefully grasping the saddle, only a few feet away from them.

The two dragons fought again, and the sky and ground were once again in chaos.

Wade watched groggily as the officer's helmet fell and blonde hair fluttered in the wind.

His eyes were cold and bright, and there was no hint of fear. He stared straight at Wade.

Wade seemed to have his soul pulled away from this battlefield, this man looked familiar, he thought worriedly.

Where have I seen this person?

Memories related to Stone began to appear in his mind.

The officer of the Dragon Legion loosened his strap and stood on the saddle pedals, his right hand hanging limply to the side, but his other hand stretched out.

Wade suddenly understood everything. He clearly understood what the officer wanted to do.

It's like the officer himself told him.

"Hubble!" Wade shouted in a panic. "Let go of the dragon slayer!

But the dwarf still clung to the dragon slayer spear, a look of wonder on his face.

The two dragons were biting at each other in mid-air, and the blue dragon twitched, dodging the attack and trying to pull out the dragon slayer spear that trapped him.

Wade saw the knight, his mouth opened and he made a sound, and then the blue dragon paused its attack and hovered in the air for a moment.

The officer leaped swiftly from one dragon to another.

Grabbing Kesa's neck with his intact hand, the officer of the Dragon Legion rested his thighs against the dragon's neck and sat up straight.

Xesa didn't notice the human at all, his mind focused entirely on his opponent.

The officer quickly glanced at the Kander and the dwarves and judged that they were not enough to pose a threat.

They must all have straps strapped and can't move in their positions.

The officer calmly drew his sword and began to slash the straps of the dragon saddle on the Qingguang Dragon's body.

These straps sit right on the behemoth's chest, before the wings.

"Hubble!" Wade pleaded. "Let go of the spears!" the Kanders shook the dwarf.

"If that officer cuts the dragon saddle, the dragon saddle will fall! The dragon slayer gun will fall, we will fall!"

Hubble slowly turned his head, and suddenly understood everything.

His movements were still frighteningly sluggish, and his trembling hands fiddled with the equipment that would allow him to release the dragon slayer and separate the two dragons. But is it too late?

Wade saw the long sword flicker, and one of the ties of the dragon saddle loosened with a snap.

There's no time to think about it. As Hubble fiddled with the device, Wade stood up cautiously and tied the rope around his waist.

Then the Khandians crawled around the saddle and crawled past the dwarves to get ahead of him.

Starting from this side, he clung to the thorn on the dragon's back and silently crawled behind the officer.

The man thought they were all safely chained to the dragon shoes and didn't pay any attention to the knight behind him.

He was so engrossed in the job at hand that the saddle was almost completely unleashed, and he didn't know what had hit him.

Wade stood up and pounced on the officer.

The latter waved his hands wildly to try to keep his balance, accidentally dropped his sword, and climbed the dragon's neck in a thrilling way.

The officer yelled angrily, trying to see what was attacking him, and suddenly everything went dark!

The officer let go of his hand in a panic, trying to break free from the terrifying monster that he imagined with six hands and six legs clinging on his back like a giant worm.

But he found himself slowly falling down, and he was forced to regain his grip on the dragon's back.

"Hubble let go of the spear!" Hubble ......" Wade had no idea what he was talking about.

The two wounded dragons began to fall, and the ground got closer and closer. He couldn't think.

He used all his strength to grab the officer, who was still writhing under him, and the Venus was rushing in front of him.

A loud metal crash sounded.

The spear was released. The two dragons ended their entanglement with each other.

Kesa spread his wings, broke free from the downward trend, and flew flat.

The sky and ground were finally back in their proper positions, and two lines of tears ran down Wade's cheeks, as if he was stupefied.

He wasn't afraid, he sobbed and told himself.

But he had never seen such a beautiful blue sky, especially after returning to his normal position.

"Are you alright?" called Wade.

Qingguang Dragon nodded tiredly, but no matter how you look at it, it doesn't look like it's okay.

This time, the dragons fought for supremacy in the air, which opened the eyes of all the humans involved.

Such a strange and spectacular sight has never been seen before by the Kande. And the battle in the air is far more intense and thrilling than Wade imagined.

If you want to master the art of riding a dragon in battle, you need to practice a lot.

Now that the human forces have joined the dragon, they can't waste such a great opportunity, and they should rely on a wave of powerful output to defeat the dark queen in one fell swoop.

"With dragons, even the sky has become our battlefield. Wade said silently.
