Chapter Ninety-Five: An Imminent Coup d'État

Night was falling, and silence fell in the castle.

Karl slowly walked forward with forty trainee warriors, all wearing armor and carrying heavy swords, looking murderous.

Jonah, who was guarding the door, was shocked when he saw the group, and then he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Karl. Looking around, he hurriedly pointed inside: "Please."

"Let's go in". Karl commanded the crowd behind him, a smile on his lips. Tonight is destined to be a wonderful night.

Thinking of this, Karl sped up inside.

Jonah watched the crowd enter and let go of his hanging heart. Then he followed, and closed the door tightly with his backhand.

The house was brightly lit, and Francis heard footsteps and walked out with Buddy. When I saw forty murderous trainee soldiers, I couldn't help but be shocked.

looked at Karl with a hint of puzzlement: "Didn't you say that there were only twenty-one people?"

"I'm sorry, but I didn't fully understand what had happened during this time, so I didn't know that there were forty apprentices in Siegburg." Carl explained to Francis, his eyes lit up with apologies.

Then, without waiting for Francis's reply, he explained with a smile: "We have more hands, isn't that a very interesting spice for tonight's events?"

"You're right, I'm shocked by your friendship." Francis said slowly, then took a deep look at Carl. It's a silent deterrent to themselves, and they want to show off their strength in Ayrshire.

Karl took in Francis's expression, then chuckled and asked him rhetorically, "Do the barons think these extra people are good or bad?"

"Good, very good, it looks like we will win today". Francis spoke to Carl in a loud tone.

Glancing at Buddy beside him, he said, "Let them come out."

"Yes". Buddy bowed to Francis, then turned and walked back into the back room.

Ten figures walked out of the house, with a faint fighting spirit on their bodies: "I've seen the baron."

Carl looked at the ten trainee fighters who came out, and couldn't help but look at a trace of surprise in his heart, he didn't expect that he still had such hole cards in his hand.

"This is Lord Karl of Ayrshire, and our ally." Francis said slowly to Carl.

Ten trainee soldiers bowed to Karl, "I've seen Lord Karl".

"Baron, really good at it." Carl smacked his tongue secretly, it seemed that he had underestimated him before.

Francis smiled: "It's an honor for me to have Master Karl's approval."

"Carl, did you know that my sweet big brother actually knows we're going to be doing something tonight?". Francis said slowly to Carl.

Carl didn't reply, but fell into deep thought, is this matter beyond his control?

Francis looked at Carl, who was deep in thought, and the smile on his face became a little thicker: "My big brother can put eyeliner in my place, why can't I put eyeliner in my big brother's place."

"He thought he was winning, but didn't he know that I also had insight into his actions." With every word Francis said to Carl, the smile on his face grew stronger.

Gaze at Jonah who was walking slowly: "Tell Carl the latest news we received."

"Carl, we just got the message. Baron Annelin secretly mobilized twenty apprentice soldiers, in addition to the thirty that already existed. Therefore, there are now fifty apprentice warriors in the Viscount's Palace." Jonah said to Karl.

The word evenly crossed his mind, and the corners of Carl's mouth also smiled, wouldn't such a thing be very interesting.

Looking at the smile on the corner of Carl's mouth, Francis smiled heartily: "Originally, the odds of victory on our side were not very good, but I didn't expect you to be so generous Carl and mobilize forty trainee soldiers. In this way, the guards and trainees on both sides have been equal."

"So what follows, it's going to be a bloody battle." Francis said to Carl.

Then he turned to Carl and the forty trainees behind him, and asked aloud, "My allies, are you ready?"

"We've been in Sig City for years, and we've been waiting for this moment, so we're going to fight with all our might." One of the men standing behind Carl replied.

Karl took a deep breath and looked up at the sky: "Baron, it's time to begin."

"Good". Francis spat out the word heavily, and a majesty permeated.

Looking around, all the people couldn't help but bow their heads under this majesty: "Annellin, you have always regarded me as a stain on the Sig family, so let me completely break off this stain with you."

"You live or die, succeed or fail, all are in your own hands." Francis said loudly to the crowd.

Karl shouted: "This battle will be won".

"This battle will be won". Forty trainee soldiers behind him shouted in unison.

Then all the people shouted: "Victory".

"Departure from the Viscount's Palace". Francis waved his hand, and Buddy led a jet-black horse in front of him.

Francis got on his horse, took the heavy sword that Jonah handed him, and put it on his back.

With a pat on the horse's back, he led everyone over the gate and galloped in the direction of the Viscount's Palace.

......

After Francis, Carl and the others galloped away with fifty trainee warriors on their horses, the crisp sound of horses' hooves was heard here.

Under the night, it was like a faint white light, bringing a glimmer of hope in the darkness.

Twenty Knights of Judgment, led by Alberta, paused, sat on their horses and looked ahead.

The brow gradually tightened, and the hand holding the reins couldn't help but tighten a little.

"Presiding judge, there are fifty trainee soldiers who have just left, does that mean that there will be some changes tonight?" A Knight of Judgment asked Alberta in front of him.

Alberta's eyes flashed with solemnity: "Change?".

"At least the current situation suggests that this is a better change." Alberta spoke slowly, in a strong tone.

The Knights of Judgment glanced at each other, and then their gazes became firm.

Feeling the mood of the crowd, Alberta took a deep breath in his heart and said to them word by word: "Even if the most dangerous situation arises, we will take this castle for our lord tonight."

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to prove our prowess to our lord. Know that our Lord and the gods are watching us at this time." Alberta said, subconsciously looking up at the sky.

The twenty probationary knights subconsciously whispered in unison: "Praise my lord and the gods, this battle will be won."

"Depart for the Viscount's Palace". Alberta commanded the twenty probationary paladins behind him.

As soon as the words fell, he gently patted the war horse and galloped away in the direction of the Viscount's Mansion.

Tonight is destined to be overshadowed by the radiance of our Lord and the gods, so there will be victory and no defeat.

The eyes of the twenty probationary knights were full of fighting spirit, and the blood boiled in their bodies at the thought that the Supreme God of Light and the gods were watching them.

Almost at the same time, he slapped his horse and swooped forward with Alberta's torrent of hope.
