Chapter Ninety-Four: Annelin

Karl walked into a remote street, where a man dressed as a commoner was strolling around in twos and threes.

Alberta, dressed as a businessman, saw Carl's figure and quickly greeted him.

Seeing that there was still some faint puffiness on Carl's face, he couldn't help but smile in his heart, it seemed that Andre was too heavy. Even if the Pope had purchased a life potion specifically for him, it still left a shallow mark on his face.

But fortunately, this trace is very shallow, which makes Carl less flawed.

"Carl, how's the preparation?" Alberta asked, looking at Carl.

Carl nodded at Alberta, "Everything is going well".

"Did you bring in the weapons and armor?" Carl asked, turning to Alberta.

Alberta smiled at Karl and waved to the twenty Knights of Judgment who were crouching on the ground, and several carriages and a dozen horses were pulled over.

"Don't really say it, the things you gave are very practical, and the generals guarding the door will let them go without looking at them." Alberta said to Carl with emotion.

Carl suddenly laughed: "You can too, as long as you give them a lot of gold every year, they can turn a blind eye to you".

"Aren't they afraid that the enemy will come in?" Alberta asked Karl rhetorically.

Karl shook his head: "There are a thousand soldiers in Siegburg, dozens of trainee soldiers, just how much of a wave can you make with twenty-one civilians."

"Since you are not in any danger, for the sake of the annual large amount of filial piety, it is natural to turn a blind eye to the smuggled goods." Carl explained slowly to Alberta.

Then the conversation changed: "If it weren't for this, would we have been able to get Siegburg so easily?"

"So is that." Alberta thought for a moment and said to Carl.

Karl smiled strangely: "Thank you to the generous Viscount Adolf, if it weren't for him, we wouldn't have thought about this castle."

"Sure enough, a generous guy". Alberta laughed.

The twenty Knights of Judgment grinned as they heard this.

As soon as the whisper fell, Carl looked at Alberta: "Today I went to Baron Francis first......".

Listening to Carl slowly say these things, Alberta and the twenty Knights of Judgment all fell into deep thought.

When the last word dissipated, Alberta looked at Carl, "You used all the power that Viscount El had placed here?"

"It's too risky, after all, you've been removed, and no one can save you if you show a flaw." Alberta said worriedly to Carl.

A confident smile appeared on the corner of Carl's mouth: "I, Carl, have dealt with intelligence for most of my life, and I already know all about this, although it seems to be risky, but it is indeed worth it."

"After all, we won, presiding judge, did you say yes?" Carl said to Alberta.

Alberta took a deep breath: "Carl I admire your courage".

"No, if you want to talk about courage, it should be that I admire the presiding judge and the head of the regiment Andrei." Carl said to Alberta.

Then his face turned straight: "If it weren't for your invasion of the dangerous El City, I, Karl, would be waiting for death to come, so my little risk would have been worth it compared to your efforts."

"Karl ......". Alberta was slightly moved and patted Carl on the shoulder. I secretly regretted in my heart that I had beaten a little harder.

Feeling the force of Alberta patting his shoulder, Carl's heart felt a lot more favorable for him, and a doubt slowly emerged. The wound on my face, what the hell is going on.

Seeing Carl's expression change, Alberta seemed to feel what he was thinking, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help twitching violently. So he hurriedly changed the topic and got down to business: "Carl, how do you think we should act?"

"I will go and meet Baron Francis first, and then the presiding judge will keep an eye on the time, after the two sides fight, the Viscount's Mansion will be in chaos, and you will take the opportunity to launch a surprise attack to slaughter Annerin's head in one fell swoop." Carl whispered to Alberta.

As soon as the words fell, he seemed to feel that something was wrong, so he told them: "But you must remember not to shout our lord when rushing to kill, so as not to expose the twists and turns in advance."

"We can do that." Alberta assured Carl.

The twenty Knights of Judgment also looked at each other with determination, and their hearts were filled with excitement at the thought that they could take Siegburg. You must know that this is a castle with a population of 5,000, a thousand troops, and dozens of apprentice soldiers. With only twenty-two people, such a feat can be accomplished.

When I think of this, it's like I've been beaten with chicken blood.

......

Hurried footsteps rang out in the Viscount Sig's mansion.

A person walked quickly inside, and saw the middle-aged man in the garden pavilion and hurriedly bowed: "Lord Viscount, Baron Francis has moved."

"Something changed?". A playful smile tugged at the corner of Annelin's mouth.

Looked at the man and asked him, "Didn't you just tell me that my lovely brother is drunk and dreaming all day long." But why did he move after only a while?".

"The subordinates were incompetent and did not detect Baron Francis's wolf ambitions in time". The man said to Annerin with a look of shame.

Annerin looked ahead: "I'm curious, he didn't act when he went out, but now he is in a hurry when he comes back."

"With such an abnormal behavior, I can't help but wonder who gave him such courage." Annelin said slowly, and a trace of murderous aura quietly spread.

The charge of killing my brother is not good, so I deliberately left a bait when I went out, and not only did I not take the bait but shrank back before I arrived first. Now it's unusual, and doing some small actions is really incomprehensible.

The man thought for a moment and replied to Annelin, "Maybe those Yrshire rats are getting moving."

"Well, that's a wonderful thing." Annellin said to the man, and the smile on the corner of his mouth became a little thicker.

The man showed a hint of concern: "Do you want to mobilize all the eighty trainee soldiers and the army in the city tonight?"

"I waited for them for half a year, and finally saw that they were about to jump out, how could I scare them back." Annellin shook his head, no matter how bad Francis is, he is also the son of his father, I don't know how many eyes are staring at it. There is no conclusive evidence, and once he is killed, it will only alienate the people who support him, but will cheapen the man who is far away in Gutunburg.

As for the rats in Ayrshire, they were left behind just to embolden Francis, otherwise why would they have been so clean about the outside world during this time?

The man looked at him in embarrassment: "But Baron Francis has a hundred guards in his hands, and with the support of those rats, we may not be able to rely on the strength of the palace alone."

"Although they are evenly matched in terms of guards, and even ten of the hundred guards who have secretly defected are our men, it cannot be ruled out that those rats will reinforce Viscount Francis's forty apprentice soldiers." The man continued to speak to Annellin.

Annerin was stunned for a moment and asked the man, "Forty trainee soldiers?"

"There are indications over the years that the rats of Ayrshire have sent a total of thirty or forty apprentice warriors to secretly lurk in the castle, so we must be well prepared in this regard." The man explained to Annellin.

Annerin thought for a moment: "You go and secretly send twenty trainee soldiers to the mansion."

"As soon as Francis started a rebellion, I justifiably killed him." Annelin said to the man.

The man's expression was shocked, and he bowed to Anelin: "Obey."

Watching the man's figure go away, Annellin couldn't help but sigh in her heart. It's a nasty rat, it's disgusting. Obviously, they can be easily solved, but because of Francis, who should not have been born, he has made so much trouble.

It's better to jump out now, it's much better than being on guard all the time.
