Chapter Ninety-Three: Encrypting Emails

Leaving the Barrel Tavern, the three Lukkas headed straight back to the Peregrine Falcon. Pen "Fun" Pavilion www.biquge.info

On the pier, there were already people waiting.

"Rai...... No, what kind of captain is that!" Phil the bear said, and he was shouting at the Peregrine Falcon, which had changed its appearance, and although the ship looked unfamiliar, the address he had gotten was here, and he couldn't be mistaken.

Luca looked at Phil a little surprised, this bear child actually wore the uniform of the Sunset Express Ranger (that is, the courier), and Linde, the half-giant he had always been inseparable, had not changed much, and he was still dressed like the original.

"Are you looking for the captain of this ship?" Lukka asked, taking a few steps closer, sure that his disguised bear child would never recognize him.

"Well, you're a crew member of this ship? I'm here to deliver a letter. Phil said eagerly.

"Then get on board. Lukka said to the Falcon, took out the key and opened the door to the captain's quarters, and turned sideways to invite everyone in.

Phil hesitated and stepped through the door. The half-giant Linde remained outside, the doorway was a bit narrow for him, and he would rather stay outside in the sun and blow the wind.

"Where's your captain, I'll have to give him the letter myself!" Phil was a little wary, but not too worried, after all, no one in the Sunset Islands dared to trouble the Sunset Express.

"You're not afraid of being kidnapped and sold by us?" Lukka smiled and sat down, slowly spinning the opal ring in his hand.

"How dare you!" Bear Child's voice changed from anger to confusion to surprise, "You can really change your appearance? I thought James in the store was talking nonsense!"

"I didn't expect you to really become a courier boy!" Ollie also changed back to her original self.

"Well, the letter to you, the expedited encryption one, must be important. Phil took out an unmarked envelope from his messenger's bag and handed it to Luca.

Lukka took the letter and didn't open it immediately, but asked the bear child, "Why don't you stay and eat something before leaving?"

Phil looked up at the exquisite treats that Lukka had taken out of the drawer, then looked down at the bulging messenger's bag, hesitated for a moment, and finally shook his head with determination: "I still have a lot of letters to deliver!"

With that, he turned around and ran out of the hatch, as if the faster he moved, the more he could get rid of the current temptation of the food.

"It seems that this job is not as good as he said before......" Crete said suddenly, looking at the back of the bear child.

Seeing off the bear child, Lukka sat at the table and looked at the letter in his hand. There wasn't a word on the envelope, and the paper was really good. Not only was it good, but he held up the envelope to the light, and the snow-white paper showed dark lines that glowed with blue light, and Lukka guessed whose hand the letter came from.

......

Directly east of Huifan Harbor, a hundred nautical miles away, the Silent Death was quietly waiting.

The wind was blowing from the northwest, adding some chill to this late autumn night. The light in the cabin on the top floor of the giant ship did not penetrate the heavy night, but only slightly illuminated a small area around it.

This time, the Silent Reaper was anchored farther away from the coast, and since the last war, it was not only the wallgrass pirates who wanted to change their doors that had been looking for Lukka's whereabouts, but also the fleets of the Brohn Empire and the June Alliance patrolling the waters where they often appeared.

Lukka couldn't tell if he was more reluctant to be discovered by the navies on both sides, or if he hated being pestered by those miscellaneous pirates, but the response was the same: it was better not to be found. He's not afraid to go head-to-head with those guys, but as a pirate ship captain who robs for a living, what else can he grab if his whereabouts are known?

So this time, he deliberately changed the waiting place of the Silent Reaper, from the previous distance of a few dozen nautical miles to a distance of 100 nautical miles, and agreed that before 12 o'clock at midnight on November 11, if the Peregrine Falcon did not return, the meeting point for the next three days would be changed from 100 nautical miles due east to 120 nautical miles to the southeast.

It was nearly midnight when the Peregrine Falcon finally emerged from the darkness and quickly sailed into the small light.

A few minutes later, Luca, Ollie, and Crete returned through a convenient passage overboard the bottom boat, less than a minute short of the agreed last time.

As soon as he entered the captain's room, Lukka stopped Daniel.

"Look at this. He pulled out the letter as he spoke.

Daniel took the envelope, looked at it carefully for a while, and said, "The letter sealed with the power of knights, what the hell are those unruly sea knights?"

"I want to know, can you open it?" asked Luca. The seal on the envelope was exactly the same as the inscription in the Sea Knight Temple, and the other party added his own layer of insurance to the reputation guarantee of Sunset Express, and no one except Daniel and the Knights could open this seal.

The ghost nodded, touching the inscription with his finger, and the Zero Knight opened the beautiful envelope without the slightest effort.

Instead of taking out the letterhead inside, he handed it to Luca along with the envelope that had been opened.

Lukka pulled out the letter and read it carefully, the doubts on his face growing heavier. He handed the letter to Daniel and beckoned the others to come over, and several of his companions gathered around.

The letter, written in elegant navy blue handwriting:

His Excellency Captain Luca Lester,

A few days ago, I was very pleased to learn of the naval battle, and I wish you all the best.

I have an old friend who has admired your name for a long time. If it is convenient for you, please go to the temple on December 10, and I will be waiting for you with my old friends.

Please also greet Mentor Morgan on my own behalf and wish you all the best.

And: I have sent someone to take care of your merchant ship Horizon, and I will not let pirates or agents of the Imperial Navy disturb its daily business activities.

Once again, congratulations on the best of luck.

- Knights of the Seas, Joseph Morres.

The letter was circulated among several members of the group, and soon everyone had read it.

"What is he going to do?" Daniel didn't like to see his junior.

"I think it's mainly that the 'old friend' he said wanted to see us. Lukka read the letter again.

"Do we have to go?" said Ollie, who disliked the letter.

Crete replied, "The letter seems to be in a respectful tone, but the last paragraph clearly says: 'If you don't come, I'm going to attack the New Horizon!'"

"Let's take a look. Although Luca didn't like Mores to let himself go to the meeting in this way, if you think about it, if you don't talk about the safety of the new horizon, it is really unlikely that you will meet him.

Seeing that Lukka had already given the order, Daniel stepped out of the cabin, controlled the sails and rudder, and turned the direction of the bow.

But......

"Tom!"

There was a muffled sound.

The bow of the Silent Death crashed directly into a small island.

"Where did you come from? Didn't you just have it?"
