Chapter Sixty-Seven: Colin Creevey
When Zhang Feng saw Harry again, it was already the lunch break after lunch. In the afternoon, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor would have a Defence Against the Dark Arts class, and Harry and the others were sitting in the cloudy courtyard, chatting about Quidditch.
When he saw Zhang Feng and the others approaching, Harry greeted him.
"Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the afternoon, are you looking forward to it?"
"I don't think I've been expecting anything from him since I met him. Zhang Feng replied.
Harry felt someone watching him closely. He looked up and saw that the very skinny gray-haired little boy from the sorting ceremony last night was staring at him as if he were fascinated. The boy was holding something in his hand, much like a normal Muggle camera. As soon as Harry looked at him, the boy's face immediately turned red.
"Looks like your little admirer is here!" Zhang Feng teased.
"Hello, Harry! My name is Colin Creevey. He said breathlessly, taking a timid step forward. "I'm at Gryffindor too. You... Can I ..... take a picture of you?" He held up his camera expectantly.
"Take pictures?" Harry asked, blankly.
"So I can prove that I saw you. Colin said eagerly, taking a few more steps forward, "I know everything about you. Everybody told me. How you escaped the mysterious man's clutches, how he disappeared, etc., and you now have a lightning-shaped scar on your forehead. ”
His gaze searched Harry's hairline: "A boy in my dorm room said that if I used the right development potion, the person in the picture would move. Colin took a deep breath and trembled slightly with excitement, "That's interesting here, isn't it? I didn't know that the weird things I was going to do were magic until I received the letter from Hogwarts. My dad was a milkman and he couldn't believe it. So I'm going to take a lot of pictures and send them to him. If only I could have a picture of you......"
He looked at Harry beggingly, "...... Maybe I can stand next to you and ask your friend to help me press it? And then, can you sign a name?"
"Autographed photo, you're sending autographed photo, Potter?" Draco Malfoy's loud and shrill voice echoed through the courtyard, and he walked over with square steps. He stopped behind Colin with two of his big, vicious nemesis: Crabbe and Goyle. At Hogwarts, the two men always followed him like bodyguards.
"Everybody line up!" Malfoy yelled at the crowd, "Harry Potter is going to send autographed photos!"
"I didn't. Harry said angrily, clenching his fists, "Shut up, Malfoy. ”
"You are jealous. Colin screamed, his entire body the thickness of Crabbe's neck.
"Jealousy?" Malfoy said. He didn't need to shout anymore, half of the people in the courtyard were listening. "Jealous of what? I don't want an ugly scar on my head, thank you. I don't think having your head cut open makes you so special. I don't believe it!"
Crabbe and Goyle giggled.
Zhang Feng actually agreed with Malfoy's words, in fact, no one wanted to pay as much as Harry in exchange for fame. But Malfoy's tone was too bad.
"Eat slugs, Malfoy. Ron said angrily.
Crabbe stopped laughing and began to rub his chestnut-like knuckles viciously. "Be careful, Weasley," malfoy scoffed, "don't get into trouble anymore, or your mother will have to come and take you back." He feigned a high-pitched voice. "If you don't follow the rules again..."
A group of fifth-year Slytherin students laughed loudly.
"Weasley wants an autographed photo, Potter," Malfoy smirked, "it's worth more than his house." ”
Ron drew his wand, about to make a move.
"What's going on, what's going on?" Gilderoy Lockhart strode towards them, turquoise robes fluttering behind him. "Who's posting autographed photos?"
Harry opened his mouth to explain, but Lockhart put an arm around his shoulder and said cheerfully, "Don't ask! Harry was caught next to Lockhart, and he was so humiliated that he was feverish.
He saw Malfoy triumphantly retreat into the crowd.
"Come on, Mr. Creevey," Lockhart said with a smile on his face, "and a double photo, it's a good deal, and we'll both sign it for you." Mr. Feng Zhang, do you want to come along?"
Zhang Feng hurriedly shook his head, and Colin clumsily picked up the camera and pressed the shutter during the afternoon class bell.
