"Sister Ma" loves to help the poor, in the disaster year, the local villagers will go to Mawan Cave to find "Sister Ma" to borrow rice, and then repay after the harvest in the second year, the method is: the villagers want to borrow rice, they go to the entrance of the cave to burn incense, and explain the amount of rice to be borrowed and the time of return, "Sister Ma" will distribute rice according to the required amount. This is the case for a long time.

Due to the appearance of untrustworthy villagers, after borrowing grain, there is grain not returned, but returned to the "Sister Ma" chaff, since then "Sister Ma" no longer lends grain to the villagers, and the water outlet is changed to the ground, the villagers will never see the figure of "Sister Ma" again. Hence the proverb "lend you back the chaff" comes from.

"Sister Ma" also has times when she does evil.

A long time ago, the villagers of the Zaohuanba (now Yanhe Village, Longshu Town, Pengshui County) offended the second sister of Dongwang Guo, the second sister was very angry and prepared to flood the Zaoquanba, but she was suffering from her own water and turned to the eldest sister for help, and the "Ma eldest sister" gave the second sister two hours with the water of the "Mawan Cave" in order to take into account the feelings of the sisters, and flooded the Zaohuan Dam into an ocean, and the villagers suffered heavy losses.

Now, the Mupalm River dries up for two hours every year, and when the river dries up, the water level of the full river immediately drops at the same time, and there is no flowing water.
